4 bedroom villa, sleeps 8 in quiet urbanisation

Villa in large, shady, gated garden with ample parking. The first floor has a twin bedded room with a door leading onto a large balcony with beautiful views, also access to a small roof terrace. The ground floor has a kitchen/dining room, large living room, small living room and three further twin bedded rooms, two with en suite facilities. From the small lounge patio doors give access to a covered terrace (naya), with two sofas, ideal for relaxing in a shady area, a step down leads to a large open terrace with swimming pool. There is an outside, covered eating area incorporating the barbecue. The urbanisation of St. Jaime is a prestigious area of Moraira.

Lovely villa, that you can feel at home in, well appointed and very spacious, also: what a wonderful location, never been to this part of Spain before but would highly recommend it. Great beaches for sunbathing or snorkelling - the kids loved the rock pools.

Great bars and restaurants but with a local feel and excellent food.

There are shallow steps down to the front door which maybe difficult for access with a wheelchair or the infirm. Swimming pool straight from terrace, small children must be supervised at all times.

Despite the villa being in a really great location we found it to be tired, dated and disappointing

We've rented villas in Moraira each summer for a number of years now and this one sits in the best location by far. Beyond that though we found it to be over priced and quite disappointing by comparison. The property is somewhat dated and in need of investment in order to compete with those in a similar price bracket. Many of the fixtures and fittings are either broken or faulty and although it is clean it suffers from smelly or blocked drains.

In comparison to other villas we've stayed in the bedrooms and bathrooms are very basic and offer limited comfort for a family of 4. Time restrictions on use of the air conditioning make it unnecessarily uncomfortable during hot summer nights and disappointing considering the overall rental charge.

Outside facilities are adequate but very dated and in need of maintenance albeit the poolside terrace captures the sun all day and makes a terrific space for sunbathing.

The barbecue is excellent and the naya makes a lovely eating area but we were plagued by mosquitoes which restricted our use somewhat. Whether this was resultant from overgrown plants in the garden we weren't sure but it was a problem for us August.

Despite enjoying our stay in Moraira we were disappointed with the villa. Sometimes it is the little things which make all the difference and add a touch of comfort to your stay. Nice bedding, soft towels and new sunlounger pads would have made a huge difference to our stay. However, such things were purely functional and many items in the villa were either broken or in need of maintenance, investment or basic care and attention. These improvements are needed in order to bring the villa in line with other properties in the similar price bracket.

Great position, clean and comfortable

My family and I stayed in this villa in 2015 and had a superb relaxing break. The veiw, particularly from the balcony where we gathered for breakfast is beautiful. The villa was maintained well and was clean throughout. We liked it so much we tried to go back again last year but left if too late and it was booked up. This year we are booking early!

Moraira, once a fishing village, is now a clean, modern resort whilst lacking the high-rise apartment blocks. There are many shops and restaurants of differing styles to choose from, also a charming marina and harbour to sit and watch the world go by.
