Villa on Brighton Beach, South of St James, Barbados, Caribbean - Peaceful And Private Location With Direct Access To The Best Beach In Barbados

Sea Turtle is located on Brighton Beach, 2.5 miles North of Bridgetown and 3.5 miles South of Sandy Lane. Kensington Oval is walking distance and being 4.5 miles from both Holetown and St Lawrence, the beach-house is equidistant between both the major tourist/restaurant and nightlife areas on the island. At over 1.2 miles Brighton Beach is the longest on the Platinum Coast and when put together with Paradise Beach (where the prestigious Four Seasons Resort is under construction) provides almost 2 miles of uninterrupted powder soft sand. It is the largest turtle hatchery on the island and turtles are often seen laying eggs, hatching and swimming in the surrounding waters. Green Monkeys visit the property and the garden is full of humming birds. Being set back over 100 yards from the main road, Sea Turtle does not experience the road noise suffered by most West Coast villas and as Brighton Beach is a mainly residential beach it is almost deserted for most of the day/week.

Booking Notes:
During the Winter season (14th December to 30th April) a minimum booking of 7 nights is required. A 25% deposit is required to confirm a booking, with the balance payable 30 days prior to occupancy. Payment is refundable on cancellations made 60 (sixty) days prior to arrival for all bookings (less 10% of the total cost, which is non-refundable). Rates and villa information are subject to final confirmation.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are flexible. Check out time is by midday, arrival time is 3pm onwards. However, if your arrival or departure days are not changeover days, your check-in or check-out times may be flexible but we would already have advised you of this.

Notes on accommodation: Location on perhaps the best beach on the island - over 1 mile of powder soft sand. Three air conditioned bedrooms - two with en-suite. An 18ft swimming pool. A 40ft x 20ft sun deck. Fly screening and security bars on all bedrooms. Ceiling fans throughout. Beds and bedding for 6 - (or up to 8 for extended families). Direct access to Brighton Beach. Uninterrupted sea views. 110v outlets. Giant TV and DVD. Digital safes in all bedrooms. 2meg ADSL with wireless access. CD player. 2 x kayaks available. 2 x External showers. Barbecue. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Daily maid service. A masseuse is available by appointment. Peace and privacy - the house is un-overlooked and there are no hotels or apartment blocks on the beach. Outside: Sea Turtle is set in quarter of an acre of mature gardens. On the road side it is mainly parking with room for 6 vehicles. On the beach side there are mature trees for shade, decking and swimming pool, sun loungers, and a sandy area inside the properties fence for private sunbathing. There is a lockable gate that leads directly onto the beach and 2 x external showers. Turtles often nest in front of the house. Utility Room: The laundry has a tub washing machine and a sink, although the maid will do all the laundry. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and linen are included and there is a daily maid/laundress to wash-up, do laundry, and to clean and service the rooms daily. A cook can be arranged, at additional cost, if required. Other: There is an entrance porch with comfy armchairs and a lobby with a sofa bed. The Sun-deck has two settees and two armchairs, a barbecue and extended decking with pool, a garden where there are sun loungers and umbrellas and access directly onto the beach
