Situated in the charming Cotswolds village of Bredon’s Norton, designated an area of ‘Outstanding Natural Beauty’, this delightful 18th Century detached cottage is close to major road links (M5, M4, M40) and is an extremely popular location for groups or families travelling from differing locations. Four miles to Tewkesbury with excellent shopping facilities, supermarkets, banks, post office, coffee shops and restaurants.
This is our fifth stay in the Cotswolds and the best by a long way.
A great location, a gorgeous home-away-from-home, and a lovely time had by every one of us.
We truly enjoyed our stay in Ivy Cottage. The cottage has been done up beautifully with all the amenities. The garden is lovely and so enjoyed sitting in the sun. This area is really pretty and a tranquil place to visit. Thank you for all your suggestions of places to visit.
Spacious and warm home with access to some lovely walks. The owner is friendly and helpful. With 11 of us sharing two bathrooms (one with the only access to a bedroom) a bit of forward planning was required (!) but it was manageable thanks to a combi boiler giving hot water at all times. Hope to return sometime in a different season.
The house was very charming and the right size for 9-10 people. It has a lovely garden which was where we spent most of our time. The owners were really friendly and helpful in providing information on the surrounding areas and useful recommendations. Would definitely visit again!
Couldnt fault the house. Very clean and warm and the hosts are extremely helpful and accommodating. Planning our next trip already!. Our entire group were delighted with their stay.
We had a great time at Ivy Cottage for a family get together. The house had everything we needed. The garden was particularly pleasant for a BBQ or "just chilling". The local village was very friendly with some amazing old houses, and a real farm shop which made and sold the best bacon we have ever had. The walks up the nearby hill gave beautiful views. One night we took advantage of the delivered 3 course meal by Jennie, which was superb. Richard and Jan were very helpful with information before the visit and popped in to say hello, then left us to it. Further afield the countryside and villages were also very beautiful
Ivy Cottage suited a family get-together perfectly, enclosed garden to corral small children and dog. House had everything we needed and layout suited all of us, lovely walks in a peaceful setting. Suberb!
We stayed at Ivy Cottage for a weekend get together with a group of friends and it was the perfect place. The cottage is beautifully presented, very comfy beds and a great shower. Lovely communal spaces including a dining table that easily seated 10 adults. We enjoyed the outside space and some really nice walks around the local area to local pubs and the cricket club. Plenty of parking for us all as well. Overall a great place and would definitely recommend.
