A deluxe, detached, Andalusian style villa set in private gardens within a premier residential area. Built in 2004 it is situated between Benahavis and Estepona. Flanked by Atalaya and El Paraiso golf courses. The villa faces south west over looking a green valley with stunning views of the sea and across to the mountains of North Africa. Furnished to a high standard, all bedrooms are en-suite and there are large reception rooms and plenty of terraces. A large alfresco dining terrace overlooking a large swimming pool which is lit at night are key features. The villa is set on 3 levels with marble floors throughout. A gym area, internet and satellite TV are included. This is more then your typical rental property.

About Scott Rayner

I am a company chairman based in the UK. I travel extensively but am always drawn back to Southern Spain where I have spent many holidays over the years. I enjoy sport and in particular golf and skiing. Family and friends are most important to me and I am fortunate to be able to share my villa with them. I enjoy entertaining and have found my villa perfect for celebrating special events. I have also opened the villa for corporate entertaining. There are outstanding golf courses in the area and three are located within a couple of miles of my home.

I also have a home in France. I love Brittany, the food and culture. Its a peaceful haven but with good access to french markets and the coast.

Why Scott Rayner chose West Costa del Sol

As mentioned, I have always been drawn to Southern Spain and over the years I have enjoyed many wonderful holidays with family and friends and golfing tours with friends and colleagues. I wanted to find a home I could share with others and that they would leave with lasting memories and appreciate the villa. The villa is in a premier urbanization. This is not a holiday complex but a development of detached higher end properties, of differing styles and affording privacy and commanding views to the sea. El Paraiso and Atalaya golf courses are further down the hill and there are excellent places to dine in Benahavis, Puerto Banus, Estepona and Marbella. There are spectacular beaches within a short drive and other attractions such as Selwo Adventura.

What makes this villa unique

The property is a large detached villa built in 2004. It was designed by the previous owner. There are three double and one twin bedroom all with en-suite bathrooms. A large lounge, alfresco covered dining terrace, numerous other terraces, internet access and UK satellite service. The kitchen is spacious and has a large dining table. The gardens are well tendered and there is a 10m by 5m swimming pool (2.5m deepest) with roman steps at one end. The villa is private, secluded in its own gardens and there are commanding views down the valley and the sea. It is possible to see the coast of Africa from the dining terrace.

San Pedro beach and promenade are 10 minutes drive with bars, toilet facilities, showers, play areas and ample parking. Guadalmina beach is 5 minutes by car. Laguna Village Beach Club is only 10 minutes by car.


Malaga International airport is 45 minutes drive. Many low cost airlines fly in daily. The airport has just been expanded and modernised. Gibraltar airport is 55 minutes by car.


Benahavis is a mountain village 10 minutes by car. There are several Spanish restaurants within walking distance. Puerto Banus is 15 minutes by car. Selwo Adventura Zoo is 10 minutes drive. Ronda is 55 minutes by car. Gibraltar is only 40 minutes drive. Estepona is 10 minutes drive. La Canada shopping mall and multiplex cinema is 15 minutes by car. Marbella old town is only 15 minutes by car. Further afield but within 1 hours drive are Fuengirola and Mijas.

There are local bars and restaurants within walking distance. A new supermarket has opened within 5 mins drive from the villa. There are banks and ATM machines within 5 minutes drive. Medical facilities and a hospital are within 10 minutes drive.

Booking Notes:
20% deposit required on booking. Balance required in full 4 weeks before arrival. Bank transfer or cheques accepted subject to clearance payable in sterling to my UK bank account or in Euros to my Spanish bank account if preferred. A £400 pounds holding deposit is required prior to arrival and will be returned after 7 days of departure subject to damage/breakages.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are flexible. The villa will be available from 3pm on day of arrival. We ask that the property is vacated by 10am on day of departure to allow for preparation and cleaning.
