Situated on the first floor it has lifts from the underground garage and front entrance and would cater for wheelchair access if required. It is fully equipped and has everything required for luxury living with leather seating, granite tables, TV is available in lounge via *Free Unlimited* internet link (as 'Sky' no longer transmit to Spain) to let you keep up to date with the news from home and your favourite soaps. High Security is provided by way of electric entrance gates, and 2 further doors to the apartment. It has its own safe inside the apartment. Please note: this is a no smoking apartment.

After many great holidays on the Costas' we decided to buy our own apartment where we could come and go as we please and make the most the lovely weather that we seem to lack most of the time in the UK.

The apartment was clean and very well maintained. The decoration is very sympatric with a lot of marble and leather. The kitchen is well equipped (every thing you can need is there) which helped me to prepare a lot of meals for my family. By the way, you can take your meals on the terrace from which there is a beautiful view of the hill.

The keyholder is also very intentional and do her best for the guests to provide everything they need. There are 3 LCD TV with English channels.

The pool was clean and peaceful. There weren't a lot of people in the pool so we felt as if it was our private pool.

Just as advertised

Calahonda a good place to go to get away from the English winter, we stayed Dec until March had a lovely time , the apartment was nice and clean and the key holder wilma was very helpful, I would have no problem recommending this apartment to friends and relatives,

Excellent accommodation and great location.

The apartment was just lovely, well equipped and in a great location to take advantage of all the attractions of the Costa del Sol. The Princess Park site where the apartment is located is well established and maintained. Great swimming pools -we counted 3 and enjoyed 2 of them. We loved the fact that we were so near to the many beaches - a 5 minute drive - and yet could still enjoy the peaceful atmosphere that the complex offered. Free WIFI was definitely appreciated by our boys who could play with their kindle in downtime. Modern, very comfortable and all that we needed for our stay

Our communication with Michael, the owner, was timely and efficient. The return of our deposit happened just as we were about catch our flight home! Wilma was on hand to greet us on arrival and although we didn't need to contact her with any queries or concerns, I am sure that she would have made herself available to any request we had

Recommend the local restaurant/pizzeria very near to the apartment -great portions, good menu and wonderful value for money...go there! We did many times!

I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Great Holiday

The Apartment was as advertised and the property description and photos were very accurate. The local Agent was very helpful on our arrival and when we had a couple of minor problems she was there within a few minutes.

Communications with the owner were very good and our deposit was returned the day after we arrived home.

A car is essential for this complex, the underground parking and lift to the Apartment are great especially if you have reduced mobility.

The pool is just down about six steps (or you can use the lift) and is very well maintained. The only criticism we would have is that there were only four sunbeds (two of which were broken and there are no umbrellas and very little shade.

Overall we would recommend this as a first class holiday rental and would not hesitate to book again.

Piso con todas las comodidades

El piso es tal cual aparece en las fotografías de su anuncio, bonito y confortable, posee dos habitaciones, dos baños, una cocina perfectamente equipada, con un hermoso salón comedor y terraza, también tiene aire acondicionado, lamentablemente al parecer algunos inquilinos han abusado de este, por lo que la luz hay que abonarla en un contador que funciona con monedas de euro, esto me pareció un poco patético.

La propiedad estaba limpia, aunque hay televisores en las habitaciones, estos no funcionan porque no están conectados a ningún proveedor de servicio, por lo cual estos captan algo de polvo, sería bueno sacarlos porque no cumplen ninguna funcionalidad.

Hemos recibido las explicaciones de Wilma y su buena atención al solucionarnos una incidencia con el Wi Fi.

La urbanización es muy hermosa y cuenta con una buena piscina, esta alejada de las playas y de los sitios de atracciones y restaurantes, se debe ir en coche a todas partes ya que está el inmueble en una montaña.

Recomendaría el piso, pero siempre se debe tener coche para hospedarse allí ya que no es accesible por transporte publico, ni caminando.

Un piso en condiciones

El piso es tal cual como aparece en las fotografías, muy elegante y confortable, yo quitaría los televisores de las habitaciones porque no tienen conexión y no funcionan y solo acumulan polvo, el televisor del salón tiene solo canales ingleses, ciertamente no fuimos a ver televisión pero en las noches nos apetecía poder ver alguna película antes de dormir. Como decía en las instrucciones al alquilar el piso, debemos pagar la electricidad depositando euros en un controlador para no quedarnos sin luz, este hecho me pareció algo patético, entiendo que han habido inquilinos que han abusado del uso del aire acondicionado y esto ha disparado el coste de luz, pero no ha dejado de parecerme desagradable.

La ubicación del piso es distante de todo, sin coche llegar hasta la urbanización debe costar mucho dinero, ya que esta en una colina a la que el acceso es imprescindible en coche, si no se tiene se debería usar un taxi, no hay cerca ni donde comprar el pan.

Hemos recibido un buen servicio de parte del propietario, pero para el retorno de la fianza, ha tardado una semana, entiendo esto ha ocurrido porque la oficina estaba de vacaciones, como me lo hizo saber Wilma.

Yo recomendaría el piso, siempre que los interesados tengan coche para desplazarse.

I bought this apartment off plan and it has turned out to be a wonderful investment, Princes Park is probably in the top 5% of Luxury complexes around Calahonda. Calahonda is one of the most sought after areas on the Costa del sol as it is situated mid way between Malaga Airport and Central Marbella both being only a 20 - 25 min drive away. Residence are mostly ex pats so language is no problem. If you want lively nightclubs they are only 10 mins away or if you want bars there are sports bars showing live football or family bars where you can relax with family and friends. Plenty of Restaurants for eating out and 24hour supermarkets if you fancy staying in.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

Calahonda beach is 5 min drive, lots of excellent beaches within 10 min drive (Cabapino, La Cala etc). where even in high season there is plenty of room on the beaches and car parking is either on the beach or very close by

Most have fish restaurants on the beach and local caught sardines are cooked on their Wood Burning Bar-b-q as well as full meals, tapas, and drinks.

Travel:

Nearest airport: Malaga at 27 Kilometre ( 30 min drive).

Nearest ferry: Benalmadena at 20 Kilometre.

Nearest train: Fuengirola at 15 Kilometres.

Nearest motorway: A7 at 1 Kilometre.

Car: recommended.

Distances:

Driving time: Calahonda Centre 3 mins. Malaga Airport 20 mins. Malaga City Centre 20 mins. La Canada (shopping, dining and entertainment centre) 20 mins. Central Marbella 20 mins. Puerto Banus 25 mins. Fuengirola 10 mins. Benalmadena 15 mins. Gibralta 60 mins.

Further Details:

For nightlife you could not be better situated with hundreds of superb restaurants and bars at very reasonable prices close by. About 10 mins drive away you are in Fuengirola with it town, shops, bars and long sandy beach or a 20 min drive in the other direction you can be on the 'Golden Mile' of Marbella or Puerto Banus. where you can mix with the rich and famous. You can explore the beautiful Marinas at Benalmadena or Cabopino, then check out the beach life at Nikki Beach (10 mins away at Elveria), or finally shop until you drop in central Marbella. A trip to Gibraltar is well worth the 60 min drive if you can’t manage without Marks and Spencer for more than a week plus cigarettes and alcohol are even cheaper than Spain. (NO VAT, Don't forget to take your passport) To keep the children happy why not visit the huge water park, or zoo at Fuengirola, while 10 minutes drive further on they have Sea World Centre or Selwo Dolphins at Benalmadena and Tivoli World or the Crocodile Park.

Princes Park is situated about 1Km up the hill from central Calahonda so there are no parking problems when you get home as you have your own space allocated in the underground car park. 4 swimming pools all with sun loungers are a great advantage so if 1 should be temporarily closed for maintenance there is another close by (there is a pool allocated to every 3 blocks so no overcrowding problems).
