Apartment in Frigiliana near Nerja - Quiet Location Just Seconds From The Heart Of The Beautiful Village Of Frigiliana

Modern, bright apartment providing accommodation for up to 4 people. Beautifully finished the apartment boasts a fabulous balcony with stunning views of the sea and mountains. The apartment consists of master bedroom with double bed, second bedroom with two single beds, spacious lounge/diner, bathroom and modern kitchen. The apartment is well equipped including TV with UK channels as well as Wi Fi and provides a real home from home. Air conditioning will also be available from the beginning of June 2017. Set in an ideal location the apartment is just seconds from the heart of the village with it's shops, Tapas bars and restaurants. The apartment has it's own private communal pool with sun loungers and parasols and provides stunning views on the mountains. The apartment is an excellent base for exploring the wider area starting with Nerja and its numerous beaches. Further afield is Granada and the skiing resort of Sierra Nevada. The apartment is just 40 minutes from Malaga airport and we can recommend car hire and taxi transfers from a local company based in the village, there is also a regular bus service to Nerja.

We are Paul and Steph and we have three children aged eighteen, Nine and seven. We fell in love with the village around 10 years ago and bought the apartment in 2003 with my sister Julie.

Frigiliana is such a beautiful village you can't help falling in love with it. We love coming back to the tranquillity of the village after a busy day on the beach. There are great bars, restaurants and shops and we always love coming back.

Notes on accommodation: In addition to other amenities the apartment has portable storage heaters for use in the colder months. A travel cot is also provided. You will normally find water and a bottle of wine in the fridge, all we ask is you replace this for the next guest. Outside: The balcony has a patio table and 4 chairs and a parasol. The private pool is shared with a small number of other properties and is generally quiet even in the summer months. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Fresh linen and towels are provided and the apartment has a good supply of spare linen, towels and blankets. The apartment is cleaned at the end of each stay. The apartment can be cleaned and changed during your stay for an additional charge.

My third visit to this apartment and hopefully not the last

I have visited village in the past but for this visit brought along my daughters, who like me fell totally in love with it. It's great having a pool and the beaches are just 15 minutes away, the bus costing just 1 euro! The apartment in very clean and comfortable and the position in the village great with lovely views over the mountains. Can't wait to visit again - thanks Paul

Fantastic apartment and location

This was our first trip to Spain and we have enjoyed every second of it despite the rain one day which made us stay in the apartment and appreciate its comforts.

Contact with the owner was faultless and timely, Paul answered all our questions and assisted with airport transfer.

Apartment was very clean, kitchen well stocked and views from the balcony breathtaking.

Frigiliana is a wonderful and friendly village with many places to eat local food and have a glass or two (even at 11am).

Alexis Churros is a must! Plaza 45 is best for fantastic tapas (and wifi); Al Fuente has great atmosphere and lovely homemade food. If you fancy a five star dining then visit La Taberna del Sacristan and you won't regret it. Plenty of mini supermarkets around to pick up your bread and milk.

There is a but service to Nerja (1 euro) and we would definitely recommend the visit of Nerja caves and the ride on the cave train (which is not a train actually) so you get to see the town and surrounding areas. You can book the tickets online together with cave visit and it's only 15 euros.

People are very friendly and helpful although their English is a bit poor. However, with a little knowledge of Spanish everything is possible.

We will come back to Spain very soon, this time for more walking and adventure in the wonderful hills and mountains surrounding Frigiliana.

Excellent Apartment with lovely views over hills and sea

We have just had a one week stay in this very comfortable apartment. Modern and well equipped kitchen. Absolutely everything we needed. Fabulous power shower and very comfortable beds and pillows. We went in the pool and it was just warm enough to swim.

Bright lounge and English TV with great views.

We enjoyed sitting and sunbathing on the balcony. It was really hot after 1-00pm and the sun was still there at 7-30pm. Wonderful!!

Supermarket up the steps just by the entrance to the Apartment.

Parking was difficult when we arrived but it was a Saturday and Bank Holiday weekend.

We would highly recommend.

Very enjoyable stay, weather fabulous everything we've come to expect in Frigiliana

Basic but pleasant apartment. No air conditioning, fans keep the air circulating. Don't expect to get parked outside the door, once you find a space, park up & walk to the apartment.

Our best holiday ever in Frigiliana

It's our last few hours in this bright and superbly equipped apartment . We've been coming to the village for the last 15 years but have enjoyed this holiday more than any other . Slept like logs and ate like gods ! Handy little restaurant right on the doorstep . Gin and tonics with juniper berries and traditional tapas after long morning walks set us up well for the rest of the day ! Highly recommend Gloria Benditas restaurant and Plaza 45 .

There is nothing we can fault with this fantastic place and thanks to Karen for the friendly welcome . Apartment spotlessly clean too. We'll miss the great views and evening drinks on the balcony tonight but are already hoping to come back very soon .

Great apartment that is ideally situated and good value.

The apartment was extremely clean and well maintained.

It is within a building with 5 other apartments and is on the second floor.

There is a small swimming pool but it was too cool to use whilst we were there (in November).

The view from the balcony is lovely and although it is situated near a road, it is very quiet.
