The Residence Athena apartment complex is situated in a quiet location with stunning views, close to the centre of the Les Carroz mountain village resort. One of the nearest major ski resorts to Geneva Airport, the apartment is fitted and furnished to a good standard of comfort with a homely feel. As part of the Grand Massif area, it links to the four resorts of Sixt, Samoens, Flaine and Morillon. In total, there are 135 pistes, which consists of 17 green easy runs, 54 blue medium runs, 50 red hard runs and 14 blacks for the more experienced.

Très bel appt, bien aménagé on ne manque pas de couverture, à 4 arrêts en bus de la station de ski soit 10mn et à 5mn à pied d'un SPAR très pratique, le propriétaire est sérieux.

Location

From the Owner

We love the quiet setting of our apartment but also being so close to Les Carroz. Les Carroz is such an incredibly warm and welcoming small town, very well suited to families as well as couples. We love sitting out in Le Marlow, our favourite bar, with an oversized cocktail looking out onto the 'place d'ambience' Les Carroz is a town where all the locals know each other and if you return for a second year/ trip, you are usually recognised and indeed you recognise the locals too.

Activity and Interests

Travel:

Driving distance from Calais to Les Carroz d’Araches 539 miles or 7hrs30. Approximately 45 minutes from Geneva airport.

Distances:

It is nestled in the heart of a lush green setting, about 1km from Les Carroz centre and 2km from the lifts and slopes - with the first shops including a bakery only 1km away. In season, a free shuttle service is available for your transfers between the apartment complex (100m), ski lifts, ESF ski school meeting points and town centre.

Further Details:

Eating out: There is a good range of restaurants in Les Carroz offering fine modern cuisine, traditional savoyard cooking and very good pizza.

Summer activities: Cycling; Mountain biking; Horse riding; Climbing; Water Sports; Paragliding; Hiking 200km of marked footpaths; Caving.

Kedeuze gondola open for pedestrians and mountain bikers from July-August from usually 09.30-12.30 and 1.30-5.30.
