Let me start by saying thank you for taking the time to research my apartment in the beautiful Algarve. As the owner, should you have any questions, you can always email me directly at My guest reviews speak for themselves. Now about this beautiful part of the world..... This is an excellent apartment, 20m from the fabulous beach in the picturesque village of Olhos D' Agua. Modern apartment in a superb location. Furnished to the highest specifications, the apartment is situated at the rear of the complex with large communal pool,The apartment balcony overlooks flower beds and the steps which access the pool area. Apartment boasts a very large balcony with very comfortable seating in which you enjoy lunch outside in quiet surroundings. The balcony is sunlit most of the day so is excellent for sunbathing or enjoying a cool afternoon drink.. Restaurants, bars, and shops all nearby. Zoomarine, aqualand, slide n splash, loule market, all within 15 minutes drive or can be booked at the local ticket office. Watersports also available close by. Guests can also enjoy a fabulous walk along the beach to the beautiful marina in vilamoura. Excellent choice of restaurants nearby to suit all tastes. Italian restaurant, plus additional bar/restaurant and ice cream parlour underneath the complex. Very good selection of local bars and restaurants right on your doorstep. As the apartment is at the rear of the building it is completely noise free at night, except for the soothing laps of the waves which you can actually hear from the balcony!. The apartment is very spacious in comparison to some of the frontal apartments.

This apartment is stunning! The balcony is nice and spacious and perfect for dining outdoors. The beach is beautiful and the apartment couldn’t be closer to it. Olhos D'Agua has a nice pace about it, and some lovely bars and restaraunts on your door step!

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is situated at the rear of the complex therefore allowing guests a very comfortable night. Air-conditioning units provided in living room and bedroom at no additional cost. Large communal pool in landscaped gardens. Secure car parking facilities are provided below the complex. Outside: Large balcony area with comfortable cushioned seating with table. Suitable for outdoor entertaining or sunbathing. As the balcony is sunlit most of the day, you can enjoying the lovely sunshine until evening. The balcony is not overlooked by any other apartments and overlooks the steps and flower beds to the pool area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bathroom towels and linen are included in the price. The property is cleaned before arrival and on departure.Midweek cleaning and/or linen change is available at additional cost. Perfect for a relaxing holiday by the beach

The apartment is located right next to the beach and is very well served by delightful bars and restaurants. We went with the owners recommendations and none disappointed. Facing to the back there is no sea view but it is also very quiet even when the beach is packed or the restaurants are full so its easy to get away from it all if needed. Both patio doors have electric roller blinds that can completely black out the rooms which is great for those who need this to sleep well. We found the beds to be very comfortable and the air conditioning worked effectively on the hottest evenings.

Security is excellent with a completely locked indoor garage block, generous parking space and the internal corridors locked to the outside world. There was even a lift but we used the stairs nearly all the time. The balcony, which was different to all others in the block due to the design of the stairs leading up to the pool was a good size with adequate furniture and a sunbed. The sun came onto the balcony from middle of the day and was there until sunset.

The Wi-Fi was easy to set up and completely reliable for the duration of our holiday. The ROKU unit plugged into the TV allowed us to log into NetFlix and carry on watching our current TV shows but it also had good access to many other TV stations around the world which was quite easy to access following the owners instructions. Not once did the picture freeze or stutter.

Often we would eat out for dinner, come back and watch some TV then go back out again to find the street nicely lit up with lively, friendly family groups eating out, drinking and enjoying live music from a number of venues. There seemed to always be a good atmosphere and only once did a group of well lubricated holiday makers insist on singing along to every Oasis song ever made.

The owner was very professional and easy to deal with and gave plenty of helpful advice. We arrived quite late and found it a little difficult to work out how to get the keys and find the doors but much of that was to do with being tired from travelling. Once we were in and unpacked it all seemed to be straightforward.

This is a glowing review because we genuinely enjoyed our stay and had a fantastic holiday. It is hard to find something to criticise without being unnecessarily picky but the only thing that could have been better really was the pool area had too little furniture with just a few beds and 2 umbrellas.

very comfortable and modern apartment

This is a fantastic, modern apartment, a real home from home. It is everything the listing describes and much much more.

It's location is central, right in the heart of this lovely little fishing village. As stated, the apartment is in a block with several other apartments that are fronted by a busy restaurant and bar but there is absolutely no noise from either, as the apartment is situated to the back of this block.

The facilities offered are everything you need for a very comfortable holiday. All electricals provided are modern, good quality and in full working order... dishwasher, washing machine, air con. tv, internet, shower, iron etc. everything fab.

The property is very well-presented and well-maintained making you stay very comfortable. Super beds, spotless bed linen, a selection of towels and extra bed linen left, as well as plenty of tea towels. Outside terrace furniture is also super comfortable and you are provided with good quality cushions for it, making an evening spent on the terrace with a large G&T, one of our favourite pastimes whilst staying here. The added bonus is that you are not overlooked by anyone other than by the occasional visitor using the stairs leading to the pool, who were few and far between during our stay.

The apartment is very secure and electric shutters on the windows/ terrace doors provide the added bonus of blacking out bright sunlight.

The extra appeal of this apartment for us was the private parking space. Super spacious parking in a very secure and well lit parking lot, just down a flight of stairs from the apartment, so easy for bringing luggage / shopping to and fro.

Communication with Catherine is faultless and professional, the whole transaction was easy and stress free, thank you! All information provided before our arrival with regards to collecting keys, using appliances, gaining entrance to the apartment and car park were easy to follow, straight forward and most of all accurate. I cannot recommend this apartment enough.

Exceeded our expectations !

The property was just lovely! The pictures really don't do justice to how modern, clean & well presented we found it. I loved that our sun terrace /balcony was set back on its own. As it faced the back of the property it was mainly private (with occasion foot traffic to pool but nothing much) & it was indeed sunny all day. My daughter (15) thought the wifi signal was faultless so was very happy with that. The pool was quiet most of the time & sports lovely views over the sea. Location was perfect, just a couple of hundred yards to the beach which was delightful. Overall we had a fabulous stay & this was enhanced by the friendly helpful information given by the owner Catherine. Thanks for a lovely holiday!

Perfect base for a break

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The apartment was just perfect for us. There was everything we needed. Being at the back of the building was great as it meant there was no noise to disturb. Everything was very clean and tidy. We refuse to go on holiday and stay somewhere of a lower standard than we have at home. This apartment did not disappoint. And to top it off, the resort was ideal for us. A nice mix of restaurants and bars with a lively atmosphere. But laid back enough for us to have a really relaxed break. We would definitely consider staying in this apartment again if we were to go back to the resort. On a final note, Catherine, the owner was a delight to deal with. Very friendly and helpful. All in all, a five star experience

Clean, modern and convenient

My husband, 11 year old daughter and I stayed for a week in the hot and busy month of August. We particularly appreciated the wonderful air-conditioning, the convenience of the location and the great car park space which was just a few steps away from our apartment door! We were spoilt for choice with great restaurants to visit in the evening just outside the front door and the people watching opportunities were great! Found the steps to the pool a little steep but once up there the view is lovely and usually very quiet. Lovely helpful owner and great place for a relaxing holiday, thank you.

We spent 5 days at this beautiful apartment, couldn't have been more perfect. The weather was fabulous and you have everything right on your doorstep - no car necessary.

The owner (Catherine) is very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. She arranged our airport transfers, which I would highly recommend - from landing at Faro to entering the apartment - took approx 45 mins!

The only down side to this holiday....was having to come home :(
