Single storey air-conditioned villa. There is a covered terrace facing south for outdoor dining with built-in barbecue. The garden is fully walled and gated. 10m x 5m freshwater pool. Moncarapacho is less that 10 minutes away for shops and restaurants and Tavira is 15 minutes. Car essential.

Fantastic villa, wonderful pool

The property is well maintained, it is set in beautiful landscaped gardens and has a fantastic pool.

It has air con - which is a must if you're in the Algarve in July and is in a good location to visit many different towns, villages and beaches.

The pool is very well maintained and so we spent most of our two weeks either in or around the pool.

The pictures of the property do not do it justice. The kitchen is very well equipped. Both bathrooms are very large. The furnishing in the property is of a very high standard.

I can highly recommend this property and we are hoping to book it again for next year.

Great Villa Holiday

We had a really good stay here, the villa is very well appointed & is better than the website. It was very well maintained & clean with lots of extras, our children were never out of the pool, The air conditioning was great as the weather was very hot. The local reps were very helpful. Allthough in a rural setting there are a few houses nearby and the local bar is a short walk for cakes & icecreams.It is nicely placed for a short drive to shops & beaches and we drove to the ferry to Spain. We would recommend this as very good value for money.

Excellent Family Holiday

Great Villa and location, perfect for a relaxing family holiday. The villa is excellently equipped and the air conditioning particularly welcome in August - especially fresh from the UK!

The pool was excellent, and South facing meant it was hot all day - but the veranda also meant you could enjoy that from the shade if you wished!

The local rep was brilliant and always contactable, and the pool regularly cleaned and maintained.

Perfect spot for popping into Tavira, the beaches at the Ilha and in Santa Luzia. Montcarapacho was perfect for everyday shopping and eating needs, being only a 5-10 minute drive.

The villa was exactly as described and met all our needs for a family holiday. Aqualand was 45 minutes away, which the kids loved, and Silves and Castro Marim 30 minutes for the more historically minded.

Would happily recommend and visit again!

Location

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

There are many sandy beaches a short drive away. Fuzeta is the nearest (10 minutes) where you can also catch the ferry to the outer island. Barrill beach is half way to Tavira; you can either walk or catch the little train from Pedras Del Rey and there are cafes and toilets. The Isla de Tavira is accessed by ferry from Tavira. For the more adveturous, catch the ferry from Olhao to Culatra or Farol where over a mile of almost empty beach awaits.

Travel:

Car essential. 40 minutes by car from Faro airport.

Distances:

Estiramantens has a mini-market/bar 5 minutes walk away. Moncarapacho is less than 10 minutes by car and has several shops/small supermarkets, banks and a number of cafes and restaurants; it also has an internet cafe in Antonio's restaurant. Olhao and Tavira have large supermarkets and lots of shops/restaurants.

Further Details:

The morning markets at Olhao and Tavira are both good for fresh fish, meat, fruit and vegetables. The monthly market at Moncarapacho is large with cheap clothes, shoes, household goods and jewellery/watches.

The Algarve is very good for birdwatching with reserves at Olhao and Castro Marim but you don't need to leave the garden with Little Owls calling and visiting nightly.

On return of the form the booking will be held provisionally for 1 week pending receipt of the deposit (25% of the total); receipt of the deposit will secure the booking. The balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival.

Changeover Day:
Normal change-over day is Saturday. Guest are requested to arrive after 4pm and leave before 10am to allow cleaning. Please contact our on-site rep the day before arrival to confirm expected arrival time.

Notes on prices:
The prices per week are for up to 6 persons. Additional persons charged at 50 euros per week. Additonal days (subject to acceptance by owner) charged at 150 euros per day.
