A welcoming villa with its bright and comfortably furnished interiors. It is set in approx. 3000m2 of private land, fenced and accessed through automatic gates. It enjoys a delightful position over a valley with sea and countryside views. It is surrounded by a beautiful mature garden with an abundance of flowers and trees and manicured exterior surroundings. The popular and vibrant Marina of Duquesa is within a walking distance from the Villa offering a wide selection of restaurants, cafés and access to one of the many beautiful and well maintained beaches along this coast. The quality garden furniture, the attractive pergola and table tennis invite the guests to outdoor living. A large covered terrace allows to relax away from the sun without missing on the spectacular views of the sea and countryside.

The layout of the villa takes into account the privacy of the guests and includes a separate guests apartment with its own entrance.

It is a charming Villa with character and many extras to make our guests feel at home. For your convenience, especially families with children, we would recommend hiring a car

Many years ago, we bought an old abandoned farm and made it into a wonderful holiday destination. I have lived here for more than 20 years and do not wish to leave this beautiful place!

Outside: Well maintained mature gardens with automatic watering system, covered terrace and comfortable outdoor furniture and a garden swing. Outdoor pergola canopy with rattan furniture. Portable barbecue. Outdoor tennis table. Pool 8m x 3m, max. depth 133cm to 140cm. The water is filtered daily and the pool cleaned on Wednesdays 9:00 am. Great Villa

Great Property, incredibly well serviced with everything you would need to have a great holiday, exceptionally clean and verywell maintained. Barbara is always close by for any required help. I would highly recommend this villa as a holiday destination, ideal for a family or couple if you like the quiet life but close enough to plenty of entertainment alternatives. My only gripe is the 1km 'off road' commute to the entrance which is not walkable at night.

Perfect family holiday

Our family of 6 adults & 3 small children spent our perfect holiday here for the 2nd time. Quijote is a luxury villa, furnished to the highest standard. It is even better than the description. The lounge is large with lots of light. The kitchen is fully equipped. The patio & pool area are perfect for dining, relaxing or scootering. There is even a toy box & a table tennis table. There are views to both mountain & sea & total privacy. 10 mins walk to 2 supermarkets, 15 min to beach with chiringuitos & Duquesa. Estepona is 10 mins drive. Barbara is helpful when asked but is fully respectful of privacy. Great villa - great holiday Thanks again Barbara

Beautiful villa set in the countryside, homely, clean, everything you could ever want from a villa holiday. Spacious grounds, lovely pool, great facilities. Barbara, the owner was very attentive and went out of her way to ensure we were well looked after. Our only regret was that we didn't hire a car, as you do need one. We would definitely return to this haven. Thank you Barbara for a lovely week.

Perfect Place!

What a wonderful place El Quijote is. If you are a discerning holidaymaker, look no further. What makes the villa so special is it's incredible location. It is approached via an unmade road just off the A7, which leads on to Barbara's beautiful private road, flanked on both sides by tall trees. You have the feeling you are driving onto an estate. Once through the electric gates, you drive up to the villa which is on a very large and beautifully terraced plot. As the villa is on private land, you have no properties nearby, the privacy is wonderful, and the views of the sea and the countryside are stunning - you can sit on the settee in the lounge and look straight out to sea. You cannot see or hear the A7 from the Villa, yet it is just 1Km away. The villa itself is excellently equipped, the lounge is elegantly furnished, very comfortable and Barbara has thought of everything you may need, we were able to hold a dinner party for 6 whilst we were there. We definitely hope to return. and would not hesitate to recommend it, it surpassed our expectations. Thank you Barbara, love to you and Benjy.

Thank you Barbara for your welcome and hospitality during our stay. The villa was a home from home the minute we stepped in.

Everything was ideally suited for the family holiday I had dreamed of. The boys loved it and the freedom the villa allowed them.

Payments are by bank transfers only.

A security deposit of 350.00 Euros is payable on arrival and will be refunded on departure if there is no damage to the property or its contents.

Air Conditioning (hot & cold) - The use of air conditioning is optional and therefore it is not included in the rental rate. Each AC unit has its own meter and the consuption will be calculated on departure (1KW costs 0,25 Euros). Upon arrival a sum of 90 Euros must be paid. The total cost will be deducted from this deposit and the balance refunded. Should the total cost be higher than the deposit, the client must pay the difference.

Changeover Day - 2016
From 23/04/2016 to 28/05/2016 the preferred arrival day is Saturday but arrivals are flexible during this period. The check-in time is 4:30pm. and the check-out time is 10:00am.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
