3 Bed with 2 Bathrooms. The grounds to the property are truly stunning and have to be seen to be truly appreciated. They boast a variety of different aspects, from a secured gated private pool to a covered naya complete with outside kitchen perfect for alfresco dining and entertaining. There is even a romantic palm lined walkway surrounding the finca that is lit at night creating a perfect Mediterranean ambience. This impressive property is very child friendly and would be perfect for either an extended family or a group of friends searching for a relaxing holiday in an astonishing location that offers everything you could possibly desire for a luxurious holiday.

We have a Cat called Bonnie who sleeps in the outside utility room.

This is the best villa my husband and I have ever stayed at.We wanted something special for our 40th Anniversary and took the family.So spacious and roomy and totally private.We were so happy and proud to have taken our family there.The scenery is outstanding.We all had a wonderfull time even with our grand-daughter with her boyfriend in tow.

This is the best place we have ever stayed.It can only be described as beautiful.Its huge!Its grand!fabulous,truly fabulous.The whole area is breath taking and tranquil.We have booked again next May.(Aug2011

The Costa Blanca is renowned for its white sandy blue flag beaches and several can be reached from the villa within 15 - 45 minutes drive. Calpe 15 mins. Denia 20 mins. Moraira 20 mins. Javea 30 mins. Altea 35 mins. Benidorm 45 mins.

Travel:

Nearest airports are Alicante (70km) and Valencia (80km). Car hire or use of a car is essential. There are ample bikes for your use.

Distances:

This luxurious estate is situated in the heart of the beautiful Jalon Valley that is quietly situated 20 minutes inland from Spain's Costa Blanca and offers some of the best scenery and climates that Spain has to offer. The Jalon valley is a spectacular and unspoilt place with a magnificent backdrop of mountains which surround the plains of olive trees, orange groves, vineyards, raisins and almonds.

Further Details:

The area is full of natural beauty, traditional values and has a very hospitable nature. Just a few kilometres from the finca and guest house scattered throughout the valley are unspoilt villages including Alcalali, Lliber, Orba and Parcent with a choice of hundreds of bars and restaurants that offer both Spanish and International cuisine. The main town of Jalon is famous for its wine and produces in excess of 2.5 million litres a year, you can sample the Muscatel for which the area is famed as well as other wines at the local bodegas or better still accompanied with tapas at one of the local bars. The area offers a wealth of attractions including a large supermarket, hairdressers, bakeries, butchers, honey stores, beauty salons, newsagents and gift shops. The popular coastal resorts of Denia, Javea, Moraira and Calpe are just a 20 minute drive away whilst the bustling resort of Benidorm is some 45 minutes away.

Other places of interest in the area are A 5* paragliding school in Parcent village and paragliding from the mountain (Coll de rates), only a 15 minute drive from the villa. There is also the Donkey sanctuary in the mountains toward Bernia where one can offer support for the project by indulging in an incredible lunchtime feast with amazing views where all profits go towards the well being of the donkeys and of course the famous mountain spring and walks on the Serra Bernia, only 15 minutes drive away. Around 50 minutes drive away are the famous theme parks of Benidorm, including Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, and Aqualandia Water Park & Wild Life Park. Historic Guadalest and the famous water pools and waterfalls are just 30 mins drive away. The area around the villa is particularly good for walkers/hikers, cycling, bird watching and sight seeing. In addition to the Paragliding, there is Quad Biking, Go Karting and an Outdoor Pursuits Centre.

Outside: The property is situated on a magnificent 4 acre flat plot of which there are only 2 houses.They are totally independant of each other.The house is private and the back cannot be overloooked by anyone.It is fully fenced and secured by double security gates and features a wonderful private (non shared) gated pool.The pool area can easily be locked and/or closed off to young children if desired. The landscaped gardens boast a Mediterranean style theme with a spectacular palm lined and lit pathway around the finca. The outside garden kitchen over looks the lawns and sunbathing areas, is perfect for al- fresco entertaining and dining and certainly has the WOW factor, it boasts an amazing kitchen/dining/setee area with gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, and a dining table that that seats up to 8-10 people. The gardens are perfect for children of all ages and there is even a private toy garden for the little ones. Mountain bikes and Table Tennis are provided FREE! Utility Room: Washing Machine Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: If you do not require a mid stay clean!There is no extra charge. However if you DO require mid cleans a charge of £50.00 is added for this service directly from the cleaners to yoursleves. It consists of All beds and laundry changed.All bathrooms cleaned Other: Outside garden kitchen,granite work tops, gas hob, electric oven+microwave, fridge freezer,dining table up to10 people. Perfect for that all important alfresco dining and entertaining.

Amazing, tranquil villa in truly stunning surroundings

We booked this Finca for 1 week in April, over Easter (and met Andrea, the owner, which was a real pleasure). The property is superb and the photos on this site don't do the reality justice. The layout of the accommodation is really well thought out, the kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday, the outdoor space provides the most comfortable rattan furniture with beautifully maintained gardens and spectacular mountain views and in full sun all day. The swimming pool is private and sheltered and we spent every evening dining in the outdoor kitchen. We would most definitely recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in a 5 star villa. The surrounding area is beautiful; Murla has a lovely little bakery with fresh baguettes and pain au chocolat to die for. We spent a gorgeous afternoon at a little local restaurant recommended by Andrea - El Nou Portet, which is just down the road and the food was amazing with roast lamb, paella and fillet steak.

All in all, we had an amazing holiday and would highly recommend this to anyone. Thank you Andrea x

Great Secluded Villa, Wonderful Gardens & Pool

Our 2nd 4 week stay and it didn't disappoint, in fact new air-con throughout and other improvements made our stay even better this time round.

4 weeks of total relaxation, spending days and evenings by the pool and eating al-fresco in the outside dining area. Watching local Spanish life go on with the harvesting of the almonds in the almond groves surrounding the finca, and the distance sounds of the bells around the necks of the herds of goats grazing nearby. The stunning mountain views can be breath-taking - take a look around whilst sitting outside. Many lovely restaurants in the nearby villages, although a car is essential as nowhere within walking distance. The bodegas in nearby Jalon are well worth a visit or two.

Finally, a mention for Jan who looks after the property and is always on hand to help if required.

Super property for our family holiday!

This property is great - made mainly by the vast outside space, quiet location and amazing views. We spent most of our time sitting and eating in the outdoor kitchen by night or on the lawn by day, otherwise we were in the lovely pool which had the sun all day.

The house inside was really well stocked with everything you would need, a little dated (which is reflected in the price) in the decor, the shower in the upstairs bathroom wasn't great but the one downstairs was fine!

Murla was a lovely 5 min walk down a quiet country road, and the route to the local shop for chocolate croissants became a regular part of our daily routine. The lady even started baking more for us as we kept buying out her stocks!!

There is a pet cat which we were asked to feed and who likes to come inside. Our kids loved the novelty of a cat but my sister who is allergic struggled a bit when she was around (luckily she was only there a few days but had i been allergic a heads up about the presence of a cat would have been nice!). The general cleanliness was fine but if you had to venture under a sofa or a coffee table for a lost toy it was filthy!! The sofa in the lounge was really dusty and a bit smelly for my liking could do with a good airing. We rent houses every year and we felt for a 2 week stay a mid stay clean should have been part of the price but instead we were quoted an additional £50. Also the threat of additional charges if the oven and BBQ were not left clean was something we have not come across before. Again this is probably reflected in the price as it was really reasonable for the size and land of property so as long as you are aware of this then it is your choice to make.

Despite all my comments we would go there again the location and views and outside space really are AMAZING!!

Wonderful location for a private vacation with the family!

We had really good vacation at this wonderfull villa. A perfect place if you have kids. My 2 kids was in the pool almost the whole days!

Beautiful surrondings with the mountins.

The only disappointment was that the BBQ wasn`t working. I had looked forward to do some BBQ these weeks, otherwise everything was perfect.

Good assistance from Jane, the property manger. If it was a problem it was just to give her a call and she came over to help.

Excellent "Palmeras"

This is not a "Holiday Home" this is a fabulous home in which the owner lets you spend your holiday.

Furnished to a very high standard this Finca has every possible facility you may need including two kitchens , one indoor and one outdoor for al fresco dining. The outside space , garden and pool are outstanding with two gates on the pool area for the childrens safety.

Jalon valley is green and pleasant with beautiful little villages with restaurants with very friendly people and yet within close reach of the coastal towns . I found Andrea a lovely person to deal with and can't wait to return next year.

5 Star Home From Home

Stayed for 4 weeks and couldn't fault it. The villa was like a home from home and the grounds and pool were wonderful. No need to find outside activities, just spent the days and many evenings relaxing and unwinding in the gardens and round the pool. The outside kitchen and dining area was well utilised! WiFi enabled me to work from the villa. Tried out many of the local restaurants, none too far away, but you do need a car as nothing remotely within walking distance.

Villa clean and well furnished. House-keeper, pool guys and gardener all friendly and helpful.

Surrounded by almond groves and it was harvest time during our stay. Lovely to witness this, stilll using traditional methods.

Would definitely recommend and have already booked for another 4 week stay next year.

On booking, a non-returnable booking deposit of 25% is required to secure your holiday. The remaining 75% of the balance is due 60days prior to arrival.
A security fee of £300 is also payable on your final balance. It will be refunded to you at the end of the holiday rental period by bank transfer. This security fee is to cover any damage to the property or its contents/fixtures and fittings or excessive cleaning after your departure.

Changeover Day:
Saturday change over day preferred.
However, out of season we are flexible.

Notes on prices:
For people above 6 staying we have to add an extra £100.00 per week per person, for extra bed hire plus laundry charges.
