The 2 beautiful king size bedrooms both offer luxurious ensuite bathrooms.

Bedroom 1 offers a king size bed and en suite bathroom with rolltop bath.

Bedroom 2 offers either king size or twin beds with large walk in shower en suite bathroom.

I am a teacher and my wife Josie is a self employed product developer to the food industry who also runs our ever expanding holiday cottage business. Our daughter attends a local primary school.

Why Josie Hamilton-Cook chose East Lindsey

We fell in love with Louth the first time we visited, with its unique range of shops, restaurants and pubs with great access to the countryside and sea side it is the perfect place to raise our family. We came up with the idea to extend and build the lodge in 2011 so that others could come and enjoy this special place for themselves. Thankfully we have been rewarded with lots of bookings and happy guests who return to us year after year.

Dear Josie and Iain,

We just wanted to write and tell you how much we enjoyed our recent stay at Byford Lodge.

When we arrived, we were delighted to find fresh flowers and a gift basket filled with local food items. The living space is nicely furnished and has HD TV and wi-fi. I appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, complete with herbs, spices, and oil (the little things one tends to forget about when self-catering). We particularly liked the master bathroom with the wonderful soaking tub and the skylight above it -such fun having a soak while looking at the stars! We were also happy to find that The Lodge is located so close to the town centre, yet is very quiet and private -and a lovely view down the garden. We love that it is filled with light and that you have put so much thoughtful attention to detail in making us comfortable. As a "hard to please" couple, we would totally recommend it.

THE BEST OF ALL

Everything about 'Byford Lodge' is super first class. It's easy to find, it's an easy walk from the Lodge to the Louth town centre, Louth itself is worth a day trip, the comfort of the Lodge was way beyond our expectations. It's a superb place to stay if you want a holiday touring Lincolnshire, or just want a comfortable and peaceful place to rest. We've been in hotels and Self-Catering establishments all over the world, but none of them come near Byford Lodge for quality and comfort. Coming back to the Lodge after a day's trip out was so welcoming and comfortable. To top it all, Iain and Josie made us so welcome, you'd never find better hosts. A haven of peace and quiet

A relaxed and delightful place to stay during an emotional 2 days in Louth for my Mothers Funeral. Everything we needed was there and to the very highest standards. Quite the best self catering we have experienced in both the UK and Europe.

Short stay in Louth

We were in the area visiting family combined with watching a cycle race. This property was the perfect location. There was lots of easy parking which is always a big plus. The property is beautiful with plenty of space and the outside patio was an added bonus. We wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thank you

Very high standard accommodation in Louth

We cannot fault the standard of Byford Lodge. We were very warm and comfortable during our short stay. The welcoming hamper was ideal and the bottle of wine greatly appreciated. Our stay was for a family christening and we won't hesitate to stay again!
