The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, on the corner of Milson Road, one of the most desirable roads in the area. This spacious apartment has a large living room and separate dining area with seating for up to six guests. There is a well equipped modern kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven & hob, microwave and full cooking equipment. There is a widescreen TV in the sitting room with all freeview channels, and DVD. And free Wi-Fi broadband access. This area of West London is within easy reach of Heathrow Airport (20 mins by car or taxi), the heart of chic Kensington & Chelsea, London’s glorious Holland and Hyde Parks and the new shopping centre at Westfield. Easy access to central London in 20mins.

Please note that all of these apartments are exclusive dedicated full time short let apartments, they are not people's homes just vacated! My husband works for the world's foremost upmarket travel magazine and he loves to pass on any hidden gems in London he has discovered. Why Elizabeth chose West Kensington

We always loved the fact Brook Green and Kensington Olympia have very cosy 'village' feels whilst still being in the heart of central London and with easy access to the rest of the city. There are two parks on our doorstep, Holland and Hyde parks, glorious in summer. You can walk to the heart of Kensington in 10 mins - so its very well positioned. It is fabulous for pubs and restaurants, very handy for tubes and trains ... and very easy for exiting London on the M4 or M40 motorways.

Travel:

Heathrow airport is very close by (25 mins by car) and Gatwick not much further (about 50 mins by car). Shepherds Bush and Hammersmith Tube stations serve the apartment well for all points in the capital. There is also the overland rail network and Tube station at Olympia a two minute walk away. Channel; ports of Dover are about one and half hours to drive. The Eurotunnel station at St Pancras is 20 mins by car/taxi.

There is a Waitrose supermarket on Kensington High Street (4 mins drive), a Tesco superstore (3 mins drive) also, there is one of the most famous gastro pubs in London, The Havelock, about 200m walk away, and another well known pub close by too, there are shops and restaurants galore at the new Westfield mega shopping centre. High Street Kensington is famous for its eateries and drinkeries (we send our clients a detailed information sheet beforehand of all the local information they are likely to need).

Home away from home, in a fantastic location!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay. The location is fantastic, the apartment was spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen and living area. It really felt like a "home away from home". We will definitely be back the next time we are in London! Thank you to Hugo and Liz for making the whole experience uncomplicated and very enjoyable!

Perfect flat with plenty of room and charm!

We stayed in this lovely flat with our two teenage boys and it never felt crowded. Great proximity to shops and restaurants while still being tucked back in a quiet neighborhood. A quick walk gets you to the Tube or bus stop...but you can walk to many sights as well. The flat is well maintained with everything you need for a most pleasant stay. Try Karma right down the road for fabulous Indian food. We would most definitely stay in this property again!
