This is a 3 bedroom house set in a small complex of 20 houses. It has its own garden overlooking the pool area. There are 2 pools as well as an elevated bubble pool set in beautiful gardens. Cala Egos has many shops, restaurants, supermarkets and bars all a few minutes walk away as well as 2 beaches and a children's play area with go karts and bouncy castles close by. There is also a beautiful Marina in Cala D'or that is within walking distance surrounded by even more restaurants. A car isn't essential as there is so much close by. Val D'or golf club is also a few miles away.

This upstairs apartment sleeps 2 people and has 1 bedroom with king size bed, fitted wardrobe and en-suite bathroom that has toilet, sink, bath and shower.

Lounge area has large sofa with 42 inch TV, sky, DVD player and free internet access. As well as kitchen dining table and chairs.

The kitchen has fridge freezer, microwave, hob, iron and ironing board, washing machine, clothes horse and ample kitchen utensils.

There is air-con in the lounge and bedroom.

Both the bedroom and lounge have patio doors which lead out onto the balcony where there are dining facilities and overlooks the pool and gardens. The staircase leads up to the roof terrace where there are additional sun loungers and fantastic views.

Very nice and clean apartment. We loved our stay!

Really nice and clean apartment. We lovord the pool and poolarea. The area felt very safe. Close to shops and restaurants. We rented a car and drove to the beaches around Mallorca. We will happily return to this apartment. Catherine was a very good host, responds quickly to questions and helpt.

Comfortable apartment

As soon as we walked into the apartment we felt at home. It was very clean and nicely furnished. The setee, although a sofa bed was very comfortable. The king size bed was also very comfortable with nice furnishings. There were lovely thick towels in the lovely bathroom with good hot water. An added bonus was the wifi onsite and all UK tv. In a very friendly complex in within easy reach of all the facilities of Cala Egos. Would highly recommend.

Lovely apartment on a beautiful complex!

My partner and I have not long returned from a fantastic week at Cath and Gary's one bed apartment. From our first enquiry to arriving and finding the complex, everything was straight forward. I would say the apartment is very much a home from home. There are plenty of kitchen utensils, a nice welcome pack with bread, milk, butter etc and the comforts of wifi, sky tv and air con. We had a couple of problems with the safe but Marc and Andrea, an English couple who do all of the maintenance and housekeeping, are always on hand and very helpful. Everything you could want is around a 5 – 10 minute walk away – beaches, the marina and supermarket. I would highly recommend dinner at the Yacht Club in Cala D'Or marina! We had a hire car for the week so did lots exploring around the island, but we’d have been just as happy staying in the complex all week relaxing in the pools, playing table tennis and exploring the immediate local area on foot. The complex is safe, friendly and absolutely beautiful - we can’t wait to return. Thank you Cath and Gary!

Location

After trying many package holidays and spending a fortune, we thought we would try a self catering type villa and was recommended Cala D'or. We came to the area and Immediately fell in love with the location and the family feel to both the complex and the local restaurants. We came home far more relaxed than previous holidays and so decided to buy!

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary

Special interest:

Good for walkers who like exploring. The marina is also within the area for boat fanatics.

Coast/Beach:

There are 2 beaches within Cala Egos, the nearest a 5 minute walk away. The other 10 minutes away. There is also the beautiful Cala Mondrago beach which is 10 mins away by car or bus.

Travel:

Although car hire isn't essential here, Palma airport is 40 minutes from the accommodation where you can hire cars or take a taxi. Car hire is cheaper to book previously on-line.

Distances:

Cala D'or is a 30 minute stroll away (1.5km) through the marina or a 5 minute taxi ride.

Further Details:

There are numerous shops, restaurants and supermarkets locally as well as in Cala D'or, otherwise Palma itself is a 45 minute drive away. The children's play area is close to the complex where there are go-carts and bouncy castles.

  • Notes on accommodation: Our garden offers views of the shallow end of the children's pool and would suit families or couples. Garden loungers, garden table and chairs are all provided. Hair dryers, linen and bath towels are provided, pool and beach towels are not provided. Outside: Garden furniture, BBQ and sun loungers are all included and accessible from our terrace/patio. Our garden is secure within a walled area with a gate which leads onto the pool area. There are 2 circular pools in total and an elevated bubble pool with waterfall features. The childrens pool is the same side as this property and has a walled divide within the pool allowing youngsters to splash about in the shallow part! The complex is within a walled area and has a gated car park, allowing a secure environment for the children.
