  • Notes on accommodation: The lodge is equipped for all your self catering needs, we do not have TV or wifi reception however this only adds to Gludy Lakes appeal for stepping away from the daily hustle and bustle. Outside: We encourage guests' access to explore certain areas of the private ancient woodland walks around Gludy Lake and grounds which boast a fantastic display of spectacular wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for one of our resident kingfishers and the otters and ospreys feeding at the lake. Watch the fish rise to the evening hatch of flies, the families of widgeon, teal and mallard at the edges of the lake and in the skies above, you may be lucky enough to see the Red Kites soar on the thermals.. Our stone BBQ / fire pit has proved a popular method of cooking by our guests, converting to a cosy campfire once the meal is devoured. taking up your time during the day? - Don't worry - we're happy to provide a generous stack of pre-cut logs for you by prior arrangement. Use of boats and the lake are reserved for those fishing at Gludy Lake. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedlinen and hand towels are provided, please supply your own bath towels.
