With 1 double bedroom, 2 twin rooms and a spare double bedroom which is available on request there is no shortage of space in this lovely villa for all the family. It can accommodate up to 8 guests. Furnishing is to the highest standard both interior and exterior. There are sizeable built in wardrobes in all bedrooms with a safe in the master bedroom. A copious supply of instant hotwater is supplied with strong pressured showers for all bathrooms. The kitchen is high spec and modern. The private pool to the side offers a refreshing dip for holidaymakers. The ample indoor/outdoor space offers privacy and freedom for all the guests. Outdoor dining is a must with the ample balcony and terrace space. Lovely games room and bar to relax in also free access to Wi-Fi.

Notes on accommodation: The villa is located on the outskirts of Tavira, often referred to as the prettiest town in Portugal. It is known for its peacefulness with local markets for fresh fish, meat, poultry, fruit and vegetables. There are many supermarkets offering great value for money. The beach is a short distant from the town. The villa itself is in a secure walled condominium with electronic gates to main entrance, the front garden has its own electric gates also, all operated by remote control (supplied). There is ample secure parking. A refreshing pool to the side offers the holidaymaker great enjoyment. The ample balconies and terraces particularly the rear terrace extending from the kitchen area allows dining al fresco for all the family. Games room and bar in basement. Free Wi-Fi is available for guests. Outside: The private pool measures approx 5m by 3m, it is not heated and ideal for a refreshing dip in the warm sun. It has all day sunshine during the summer period. The extensive patio are to rear is furnished with a barbeque and lovely table and chairs shaded by a large sun umbrella. The private garden has lush green grass with some planting including a lemon tree. There are outdoor terraces front and back with nice tables and chairs for that private evening sip of wine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Full house keeping facilities included, linen and towel changes are dependant on length of stay, this can be arranged with your representative. Other: Large balconies surround the villa with a large terrace area to rear for outdoor dining complete with table and chairs and barbecue. Games room and bar in basement level.

Amazing

We rented this villa for the whole of October this year and wow what an amazing villa it was!! Location was superb!! The owner and his team made us feel so welcome and the communication was fantastic really can't thank them all enough!! My dad stayed the full month and family visited throughout, I didn't want to come home it was a totally relaxed experience as we have only ever used hotels. To sum up the whole experience in one word AMAZING!! Thank you so much Becky and Stewart

Fantastic villa!

I would echo the other great reviews for this villa! It is just superb! The facilities & amenities are second to none & you definitely do not need a car to head into town each day/night as only a 10//15 walk. The pool & gardens/shrubs are also cleaned & maintained twice a week. The owner was great to deal with; helpful, responsive, prompt & returned €200 deposit via bank transfer within days of returning home. Myself & 3 friends had just the most relaxing & wonderful m time at this beautiful & huge villa. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Unbeatable facilities for perfect Family Holidays

Maintained to a high standard, this multi-faceted villa has it all; Large garden for the kids to run around; Private Pool Area; The games room (Pool Table, Darts, Chess, etc.)...& Bar! was an excellent bonus and meant we didn't have to go to town to entertain ourselves.

So many options for eating, relaxing, sunbathing at home as most rooms & bedrooms have a balcony.

Outside BBQ/dining area was excellent

Close to the excellent Venezuela Bakery just down from the nearby railway station.

Electric shutters perfect for keeping younger kids asleep in darkness in the morning.

Private road outside and secure entrance means you don't have to worry about leaving your hire-car on the street.

The owner was a pleasure to deal throughout and also kindly provided free WiFi and Satellite TV if you get bored with all of the above!!

All in all a perfect villa for our family - We'll be back for more!

Lovely in excellent location

This is our second time at the villa staying for two months every year and so happy with it we have already booked for a third visit. The facilities both inside and out are very impressive with everything you need. It is very spacious and there is bags of space for large groups. Excellent pool and garden with plenty of loungers and chairs etc. Inside it is in excellent condition and the modern decor and furnishings really make this a comfortable home from home. The location is perfect only an easy 10 to15 minute walk to the centre of Tavira. The open aspect to the rear and side make the garden and pool very private. The owner Morgan is a pleasure to deal with as are his representatives in Tavira. I don't think you will be disappointed with this villa for your holidays.

Great family villa

The villa was better in person than on the website. Our family of 5 have just returned after spending 8 days at this villa. It was lovely - spacious; clean; well-equipped.

The walk into Tavira was fine for our children (ages 8, 8 and 10), and it really was a lovely place/area. Beach was fantastic and the short ferry ride adds to the appeal.

We didn't use a car rental and didn't regret it. Easy walk to local supermarket and a €5 taxi fare back if needed. We visited a water park an hour away on the train at the nearby little station. Great value and easily done.

All in all a great villa which contributed to a great holiday. Morgan was helpful throughout, as were his guys locally.

Highly recommended.

Fantastic Holiday!

Our family (with 4 kids) have just come back from this fantastic villa. What you see in the pictures is what you get. It is a beautiful villa and is fully fitted to a very high standard.

It is less than a 15 minute walk to center of town where there are many restaurants to choose from - all of which are family friendly and cater very well for children.

The beach is just a short ferry away and is beautiful - an absolute must on your stay!!

Morgan (the owner) is fantastic to deal with and will answer any questions that you may have about your stay. His team - (who you will deal with while there) are super and extremely helpful.

Both the villa and Tavira are stunning. I already have my holidays booked for next year!!

I would highly recommend this villa. Thanks to all involved for a great holiday! We are already looking forward to coming back!!

Location

Coast/Beach:

The Algarve is the most southern region of mainland Portugal. It is Europe's sunniest place with Europe's finest and longest beaches. It is a country full of history and tradition. it is a very popular destination for tourists because of its beaches, Mediterranean climate, safety and low costs. Its temperature ranges from 15 degrees C in winter to over 30 in summer.

Travel:

Faro airport is 30 mins away by motorway. (32 kms). It is a major destination for many airlines including: Easyjet, Jet 2 & Ryanair with daily flights from most major UK and Rep of Irl airports. There is a pletora of car hire companies based in Faro airport including: Avis, Hertz, Europcar, Budget, Sixt etc.They are all competitively priced. If you prefer a taxi, there are numerous out side the terminal building, a taxi fare to the villa costs E40 max.

Distances:

The Tavira area is very compact and the town of Tavira offers many sites of interest all within walking distance from the Villa. Major towns like Villa Real are a mere 20kms and then a ferry can be taken to Ayamonte just inside the Spanish border. Lisbon is a three hour drive on the motorway, Seville can be reached in one and a half hours.The capital of the Algarve Faro can be reached in forty minutes. Nothing is far from Tavira.

Further Details:

Tavira has a quiet friendly ambience and makes any tourist feel welcome. It is the oldest and most picturesque towns in the Algarve, built on either side the river Galao. This river is crossed by two low bridges one of which has its origins from Roman times. Its main industry is fishing but this is supplemented by many tourists arriving each year. Many restaurants and shops are lined along the river with tiny bars and daily fresh fruit markets. The local Ilha de Tavira Beach can be reached by a short water-taxi ride or ferry from the pier down town. This is one of the best beaches along the entire coast, 7Km's of clean safe bathing complimented by a few cafes and bars, plenty of room to stretch out. Those with a car can journey out to further delights, within 10 mins drive there are a selection of blue flag beaches including, Cabanas, Manta Rota, Cacela Velha, Altura, and Monte Gordo. Remarkably un-developed and all are serviced with Board Walk, Parking and Good Facilities. Or head to Santa Luzia where you can catch a small train to Barrill Beach-truly awesome and a wonderful experience for children.

The Tavira Plaza opening June 2009 will host a wide selection of shops, restuarants and large cinema complex. Faro town and Villa Real San Antonio can be reached by local train service for as little as 2Euro pp. The train platform known as the 'Porta Nova' is located across the main road from the estate of Pegada.

Booking Notes:
The costs are competitive. To accommodate the extra 2 persons an extra bedroom is available on request. All deposits and balances, will have to be transferred electronically to a named bank account . Security deposits will be returned likewise. All rates are negotiable depending on length of stay etc. This pricing is tailored to suite 6 persons but as stated 8 persons can be accommodated at no extra cost. 25% booking deposit is required and balance to be paid 8 weeks before departure.All bookings are done through the owner directly and not through site to keep the clients costs to a minimum.

Changeover Day:
Change over days are flexible as are arrival times and departure, the intention is to take the worry away from the guest and that they may enjoy their holiday.

Notes on prices:
It is desired to keep rental details and conditions as simple as possible. A 25% deposit is required at time of booking with balance paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.
A local representative will meet all guests on arrival and help them familiarise themselves with their holiday accommodation and will be available 24/7 for any problems.

On arrival a 200 euro damage deposit will be taken by the representative and refunded on vacation after satisfactory inspection electronically to the clients acco
