Apartment in Nerja, Costa del Sol, Spain - Peaceful Location , Overlooking The Sea, 200 Metres Walk To Torecilla Beach,

Totally refurbished in September 2011. Two bedroom two bathroom luxury ground floor apartment, overlooks the pool with sea views, there is a Moroccan style to the grounds, with fountains and passages revealing glimpses of the sea. Antonio, the caretaker lovingly tends the exotic plants and orange trees around the complex. The pool is surrounded by lawn, where you can sunbath. With all amenities on the doorstep, you can walk to every part of Nerja. Set in a secure gated community, it enjoys a beach front location with sea views. Slipping out of the gates into the paseo of the Plaza de Cogreos where you can find an array of international restaurants,tapas bars, shops,the old town and beaches. The Famous horse drawn carriages and the tourist train are on the doorstep. A stroll will take you to the famous Balcon de Europa gives you the whole Nerja experience.

Alan & I live in Nerja,we retired here in 2003 after coming

to Nerja on holiday with our children for many years.

We fell in love with the climate,and the relaxed way of life.

Dee Rosier purchased this apartment in 2011

Why Dee Rosier chose Axarquia (Costa del Sol)

We brought the property in Fuentes de Nerja because we love the area,it's right next to the beach,and very central to all of the amenities .

A few minutes walk ,your in the centre of town,where you'll find,plenty of restaurants, shops, bars extra.

The complex is gated,with a beautiful walk way of orange

trees.Outside is a bus stop,and train which takes you around Nerja.

There are also the lovely Spanish horse and carriages .

What makes this apartment unique

It's one of the best kept complexes in Nerja,with beautiful flower beds,with hibiscus hedges around the pool,which has a lifeguard on duty during opening times.

The apartment is south facing, overlooking the pool with views of the Mediterranean .

There's a porter on site seven days a week.

The apartment is in a quiet area,away from the road.

Holiday Heaven

We stayed at this lovely apartment for a week after completing the sale of our holiday home in Nerja

It was both a surprise and a delight to stay here, so much nicer than the photos on the website could convey.

All our needs were totally catered for, even a nice bottle of Red wine there on our arrival

The situation of the apartment block is perfect for the short walk into the old town and the area is packed with decent restaurants and bars.situated almost right on the beach it is great for couples and families alike.

Tony and Alan greet you personally and show you how to use the TV, WIFI and various items in the apartment.

A major plus was the underground garage which we rented separately for a small price.

All in all a perfect stay and we will only book this apartment in the future

Peace, tranquility and a delightful setting

This was the second time we had stayed at this wonderful apartment and like the first occasion we were not disappointed. Alan and Dee are a fantastic couple, very friendly and make you so welcome that you are reluctant to leave.

The location of the apartment is ideal for exploring Nerja, it is close to the main thoroughfares and exceptionally convenient for some lovely bars and restaurants.

The complex in which the apartment is located is very secure, quiet and peaceful, there is an outdoor swimming pool if that is your preference.

There is one most important aspect about this property and that is it's addictive and in the words of Arnie Swartzneggar "I'll be back"

A Beautiful Apartment in a good location

Just returned from a week in this well equipped and very comfortable apartment. There is everything you need and Alan and Dee could not be more helpful. The pool area is very well attended and the pool is warm. Outside the complex are many bars and restaurants and the beach at Torecilla is only a short walk. A further walk to the main Balcon de Europa area which is well worth a visit. Would highly recommend this property.

Excellent apartment right next to the pool,apartment had everything we needed for our 10 day stay. I like to cook a lot and the apartment had everything I needed to cook with.

The owners were most helpful and friendly and I must thank Dee for all her assistance.

Best time!!

Thank you to Dee and Alan for the best holiday! It was the first time in your apartment but our 15th stay in Nerja (12 at Las Feuntes) the apartment is superb - well maintained, all requirements carefully considered (we had a 2 year old with us and a bed guard was provided also junior cups, plates and cutlery plus a slip mat for the bath) all of these extras made our stay so much easier. We were made to feel so welcome and the fact that we were met at the apartment by Dee and Alan really made our holiday feel special. We will most certainly return, infact we will try and book again for the end Sept/Oct. It was by far the best apartment that we have stayed in and we would recommend it to all of our friends and family.

We brought the property in Fuentes de Nerja because we love the area,it's right next to the beach,and very central to all of the amenities . The complex is gated,with a beautiful walk way of orange trees.Outside is a bus stop,and train which takes you around Nerja. There are also the lovely Spanish horse and carriages .

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

There is a variety of beaches/coves within easy walking distance. Torrecilla beach is on the doorstep, Burriana is the most commercial, with shops and restaurants, and a giant paella cooked on the beach.

Wind surfing, jet skiing, diving,

The Salon beach is just off the main square ,and there are many coves along the coast.Playazo beach extends west, and is a good walk or jog along.

Travel:

Malaga International airport is just 45miutes away by car. A taxi from the airport will cost 70 euros, and can be booked through us with a registered local company. You can Hire a car at the airport, there is a really good bus service that runs on time. The apartment is in walking distance to all amenities

Distances:

The old town of Nerja is Just 5 mins walk away with its magnificent views of the rugged coastline from the famous Balcon de Europa.

The award winning white village of Frigiliana is 15 mins by car,as are the coastal village of Maro, and the famous caves of Nerja. Torre de mar is 20 mins by car, where there is a Water park for children.

And of course there is the fantastic Alhambra Palace in Granada 1 hr 40 mins away, steeped in history.

Further Details:

Nerja is an unspoilt Jewel on the Costa del Sol, from its large busy restaurants and beaches to its smaller more quieter coves. Walk through the cobbled streets .of the old town,and visit the many tapas bars and restaurants. Nerja caves is a must to visit in Maro. Watch flamenco shows, or listen to traditional guitarists in the many bars.There is a tennis club( opposite the Hotel Nerja Cub) and a number of riding stables.The Nerja Donkey sanctuary is a must for children and animal lovers.Jeep rides and water sports can be arranged in the town.

Nerjas excellent Tourist information office is by the town hall, their maps and websites are very useful.
