This spectacular apartment is well appointed in a small private development overlooking Nazare town and the Atlantic Ocean. It is similar to a small house considering the size and design of the apartment. There is free excellent speed WIFI. The apartment is fully equipped with a TV in every room. TV is multi-channel and multi language, including English, French, German, Spanish, Portugese. English&Sports channels with stereo system, so you never have to miss a game!

It is very modern and fitted with everything you need to enjoy your stay (household appliances, balcony furniture, bed linen, towels, swimming pool with sun-loungers, garden, BBQs). There is a communal garden and two sunny terraces, private courtyard in front and back of the apartment. The large terrace is south-southwest facing offering a close view of the garden and the swimming pools (adults and children.) Terrace is furnished with dining table and chairs for six people. There is also a roof terrace and a number of barbecues. The apartment is fully equipped with a TV in every room. TV is multi-channel and multi language, including English, French, German, Spanish, Portugese.

About Louis Moran

I'm Irish and always desired a place in the sun. In 2007, my wife and I flew Dublin-Lisbon to buy an apartment on the Silver Coast deliberately avoiding the Algarve. We rented a car and viewed villas/apartments along the coast in towns and villages for five days. Before settling, finally, on Nazare we considered distance from the airport, the town is not too large or commercialised and its friendly people. The apartment was specially selected for the compactness of the overall development, its character, the all-day round sun on the verandas, the swimming pools and garden, accessibility of the beach and shops. Before finally deciding, we phoned our children. They shouted 'Go on, buy it.' We make regular visits now, plus our children, grandchildren and friends. It's paradise gained.

Had a great time here in May. The apartment complex is secluded yet on the edge of the town. The apartment itself was spotless and very spacious with all the facilities needed. The sun was on the verandas from sunrise to sunset. The bedrooms were on the other side so stayed cool in the evenings. The views of the sea were super. 2 swimming pools are at arm's length from the apartment, 1 larger one suitable for diving at the deep end and 1 smaller one perfect for kids. The town centre is 10 mins walk away and is oozing with character. The architecture is beautiful and the local women with their 7 skirts are something else! The beach is also Europe's best and is huge. The other tourists are all decent people. No lager louts here! Will be going back for sure.

Notes on accommodation: Prices are very reasonable comparatively. Apartment is also available for long term letting at an attractive rate. Outside: South and S-W facing balcony overlooks the adult and child swimming pool area and garden and is immediately adjacent to that area. There's a BBQ facility closeby and also on the roof terrace. There's free car parking. At sunrise, for about two hours the east facing terrace is idyllic for reading, writing, or just sunbathing. Then move to southern terrace for sunsplash all day. Or browse by the pool with a glass of Portugese vintage. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bed linen included; laundered and cleaned after each occupation. Clothes line available. Cleaning service provided in mid-stay at an agreed cost. We provide a 'Meet and Greet' service and advice on the locality and services. Other: Spacious hallway, furnished and decorated.

We are now back home from Portugal. Thank you in the name of everyone for this wonderful week that we spent in Nazare. The apartment was lovely, even better than in the pictures! We enjoyed every minute of the stay, it was definitely worth the money.

une semaine au Portugal. le logement est très bien: aéré, propre, avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un agréable moment autant au niveau des équipements ménagers que la literie. idéalement situé dans la ville.

il y a un classeur à la disposition des vacanciers avec plein d' endroits, sites , resto à tester.

Car: recommended


The long golden beach in Nazare is acknowledged to be the finest in the Iberian peninsula, and is on the itinerary of all bus tours of the Silver Coast. There are sections to suit the strong and weak swimmer, surfers, and in high season there's a permanent Lifeguard service. It's up to 600 meters from the apartment, through the town's narrow streets. Waterworld provides a free collection/delivery.


About 1 hour and 15 minutes drive to Lisbon airport. Car hire available at airport or in Nazare. Airports at Porto and Faro with good public service to Nazare.


Alcobaca is 10km east. It's prize piece is the 12th century Cistercian monastery, now a UNESCO site. Its 'Cloister of Silence,' of splendid Gothic architecture, is the largest in Portugal. Obidos, (c.20km) is embraced in 12th century walls - a beauty. Fatima is c.30km east. Batalha, Leiria and Coimbra are the towns; Sao Martinho do Porto the sea side village down the road, all full of choice restaurants, hotels, castles and architectural sites.

Located near the beach and the commercial center of town. You can find supermarket, shop, restaurant, bar, disco etc.. Known for its beautiful beach, one of the most beautiful in Portugal, Nazaré is famous for its beautiful scenery, restaurants, history and legend of Our Lady of Nazareth, by the people friendly and welcoming, with its traditions and its cuisine based on the seafood there is the Norpark. A fabulous aquatic park, 10 minutes away with swimming pools, water slides, jacuzzi and more activities, they also provide free transportation between the building and the Park water. The Gulf is up to 30 minutes away. Óbidos, Fatima, Sao Martinho do Porto, Sao Pedro de Moel, Alcobaça, Batalha are less than 60 minutes away.
