Description

The Stables (Sleeps 4. 2 Bedrooms)

The Stables is the smallest of our self-catering cottages and occupies the east end of the barn.

On the ground floor are two bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom, the other with two single beds(3ft) and an en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms have TVs with freesat.

Upstairs, the cosy open plan living area with vaulted ceiling and wood burning stove has beautiful views across the farm and woodlands beyond. There is a 32" TV with freesat, DVD player, and iPod dock with CD player. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and freezer and a dining area for four.

A glazed door from the hall way opens onto a patio and spacious terraced garden.

Guestbook comments from the manager

In the middle of the South Downs providing some lovely walks around the area. Highlights of which included the weather which was great for us and the fact there were no vehicles to be seen. It really made it feel as though we were far away from civilisation - it made it peaceful. The Stables accommodation was nice as well, comforting, warm, welcoming. Helped of course by Kelly and Philip who owned and lived in the nearby cottages. They were very adamant that we enjoy our holiday away and not to think about chores and the like. They were good chat, friendly, funny, and welcoming. Can't thank them enough.
