three bedroom bungalow. Two twin beds bedrooms and one doble bedroom (150cm bed). Two bathrooms, both with showers. Large living-dinning and kitchen open space which make eating and cooking a more sociable event. 32 inch tv with dvd player. The 200sqm metre garden provides a fun place for the children to play while adults can enjoy a nice cold drink on the apartment cover terrace. Outdoor funiture is also available with the apartment. Lovely apartment

Very nice apartment had everything you need for a great holiday. Very close to all shops, restaurants and beach. Lovely and quite location. Lina and her team responded very quickly to queries that I had while at the apartment. Would definately recommend staying here

The Jones Family Holiday

We were very happy with the apartment and Lina had organised a cot for my grandson, the area is great although I think the swimming pool area could do with some attention and there is no shade area at all or heavy bases for umbrellas but all in all the holiday was superb the sea was fantastic the restaurants all serve good food my family all enjoyed it very much and I would like to thank Lina who reacted to all our requests and I cant fault her customer service

Lovely apartment

This accommodation was superb; clean, cozy and all amenities provided. Very spacious we traveled as a family of three (number 3 being a toddler) but there was more than enough room for a larger family/group. Plenty of plates/cups/bowls/cutlery provided - not that we ate in much with so many lovely restaurants around the area (all within walking distance)

The accommodation was safe for a 3 year old especially as it was a ground floor (1 storey only) apartment.

The pool was shared but in 10 days of visiting we only saw a handful of other guests (no more than 4 people there at the same time as us) so it felt like a private pool.

The cleaners came in on day 7 whilst we were out and about and freshened up towels, bedding etc. which was just the right amount of time.

The property itself was well maintained, gardeners came in once a week as well.

The property owners were very accommodating allowing us to check out of the place late (evening flight home) with no extra charge.

I would definitely recommend this place or any of the other properties owned by Lina on the complex. Well worth the money.

The area of Arenal d'en Castell is also lovely with some amazing restaurants/bars - if you are staying here definitely visit Arenal Blue for a great meal with fabulous views!!

This property is very close to shops, restaurants and the amazing beach with crystal blue shallow waters. (maximum of 5 minutes walk to all of these)

Good apartment

Very satisfied with our holiday in Arenal den castell. The apartment

was very good--clean,well equipt,a small fault was fixed very speedily

by the management

I hope to hire the apartment again as it is in a very good location with a wonderful beach within a 5 min walk,

Arenal Jardin

The apartment was very nice and we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and tidy on arrival and in very good decorative order. It is set within close walk of shops, restuarants and the beach and there is on street parking right outside. The shared pool was just very near to the apartment and always quiet. The landlord was available on the phone and responded quickly to any queries. We have been to Arenal den Castel several times before and this was the nicest apartment we have stayed in there.

It would be useful to provide detailed directions and map for those visiting the apartment as it is not immediately obvious which is which apartment especially at night. The beds could be a bit softer.

Activity and Interests

Special interest holidays:

The island has been invaded by nearly every one due to its strategic point in the mediterranean therefore there are a lot of historic sites to view. Scuba diving is also a diferent way of view and enjoying the island the amount of boats that have sunk over the years make a very interesting dive. Cicling is one of the most favorites sports by the menorcan great way of keeping fit. There is a trail around the island called cami the cavalls (horse road) it has recently been restored make it an fantastic trip for hickers, horse riders or ciclers. it was in fact created by the English in one of their invasions. It is a fantastic way of exploring the most beautiful parts of the island.


Menorca has been declared protected zone of the biosphere, and most of its beaches have been awarded a blue flag, arenal d´en castell being one of them. The cristal clear shallow waters are ideal for the little ones to lear to swim or start snorkling. 650 linear meters of white sand ideal to build beautiful sand castles.


The airport is only 26 km from arenal d´en castell. You can book or we can help with booking some transfers from the airport to the apartments. The public bus service is very good and from arenal d´en castell you would be able to go any where in the island. The bus stop in only a couple of minutes away. The taxi rank is next to the bus stop. In arenal d´en castell there are several car hire companies and a very popular choice is ciclying , there are bycicles and bikes for hire too.


The nearest towns are alayor, fornells and mercadal at less than 10 minute drive.. Howerer there are several urbanisations within walking distance form arenal, such as adaia, na macaret , coves noves. . .

  • Notes on accommodation: The location of these properties is ideal for families. So close to all the aminities although still peaceful and relaxing. The garden has beatiful mature trees that can provide a fantastic shade for that very needed spanish siesta. The pool size is just perfect and is set higer up in order to make the most of the sea views. Outside: There is a 200sqm garden with each apartment there are a minimun of four sun laungers per apartment. There is a large table and chairs on the out door terrace as well as a portable bbq. The property has very easy access to the community pool, which has a special area for children. The garden is very well kept and the community pool is clean and checked everyday. The most advantage of these apartments is that although all have their own private garden space still have access to other garden areas therefore socializing and meeting other holiday makers a more fun adventure children do play and entertain themselves, while adults can relax with the certainty that they are in a fun safe environment. Utility Room: Just out of the kitchen there is a small sink and a washing machine as well as a washing line. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The bedding and towels are provided with the property. There is a weekly interin clean for those that stay longer than a week, as well as change of towels and bedding.
