Just imagine falling asleep to the sounds of the sea in this beautiful 6-bedroom Victorian townhouse with stunning sea views. located in Littlestone-on-Sea in Kent. There is nothing Victorian about this house which has been tastefully restored with its eclectic mix of antique and contemporary chic interior.
Relax on the balcony and watch the sunrise with its amazing views of Hythe and The White Cliffs of the Folkestone coastline. The French coastline can be seen and viewed through our telescope which is located in the main bedroom.
Thirlmere is located just 15 seconds walk to the beach, on the outskirts of New Romney often referred to as one of Kent’s best kept secrets. Quiet and peaceful, yet only 20 minutes drive to Hythe and Camber Sands. The historic town of Rye is just 30 minutes away. Littlestone has easy access to all amenities, with many excellent restaurants in New Romney and Hythe for eating out.
The coastline enjoys a unique micro-climate which makes it one of the driest and sunniest places in Britain. The area has a stark beauty of its own, and also has unique wildlife, which is visible at the Nature reserves at Rye Harbour and Dungeness. The area around Littlestone is steeped in history which includes Dover Castle: Discover its labyrinth of secret wartime tunnels built deep in the White Cliffs of Dover. Kent Battle of Britain Museum: The most important collection of battle of britain artefacts on show in the country. It has its own unique steam railway the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway which runs along the coast. This narrow gauge miniature railway is a great attraction for visitors. The coast provides the best sandy beaches in the South East of the country, with shallow water allowing safe access for children.
A non-returnable deposit of £100 is required to secure booking.
Deposit payment within 7 days of acceptance.
Balance and refundable damage bond of £500 (£300 for Garden Flat) one month prior to occupancy.
Electronic bank transfers to a Sterling or Euro Account.
Sterling cheques only accepted.
There is a charge of 2% for PayPal and debit or credit card payments.
Change over days are flexible.
Guests to arrive after 4pm on day of arrival.
Guests to leave by 10am on day of departure unless other arrangements have been agreed with the owner.

The property's weekend rates apply to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
nightly rate is approx 1/4 of weekly rate.
Weekday nightly rate (Monday - Thursday) is 1/7 of weekly rate.
Discount of 10% if 4 bedrooms used. 20% if only 3 bedrooms used. We lock all unused bedrooms

Late departure time up to 6 hours for £80 for House, and £50 for Flat only.
The property was a large and spacious family home with all mod cons and a clean environment. It was very nice to fit all 12 of us around one dining table for a change and we made the most of the location and not letting the weather deter us from the beach.
The only stumbling block being Owners directs involvement in that they were not very helpful at all with there payment system and the people I spoke to on the phone couldn't tell me there name, location or could not transfer my calls to line managers or more senior team members to help.
Good communication from the actual owner and easy to speak to.
Large comfortable property in a nice location on the sea front. Excellent views. Large kitchen that was well equipped with everything necessary for cooking. Owner easily contactable and helpful.
