Lovely apartment complex in great location

Our 2 week stay at the Pueblo Asparagus complex was wonderful, our first visit to Ibiza. The apartment was a fantastic base to explore the island, clean, well maintained, reasonably basic (although very fairly priced) but with everything you need for a home away from home. We had a couple of minor issues during our stay, both of which were immediately rectified by the management team who were very friendly and helpful. The pools, bars and restaurant on site were all great, with very friendly staff - we met some lovely people.

Cala Llonga is a fantastic resort with a lovely long beach which doesn't feel too overcrowded even when busy. Family friendly and not too bustling, everywhere on the island is only around a 30 min drive away maximum. We explored every corner! It's definitely worth hiring a car, there are some beautiful beaches, coves and rural areas to visit.

Highly recommended, we hope to return!

Lovely central & quiet location in Calla Llonga

We were blessed with perfect weather for our week's stay. Owner Helen did all she could to make us welcome. The price we paid was quite high for just the 2 of us out of the main season. It can take 5 people, but this would be restrictive given the size of the unit. The apartment is well stocked with everything you require, although some minor maintenance is needed. There is a general shop on site and a fair priced restaurant with lovely views over Cala Llonga bay. It takes about 10 mins to walk down to the beach but it is quite a steep climb on the way back. Cala Llonga is a lovely beach and a few miles away, if you have a car, Santa Eularia is even better in our opinion. We spent a lot of time there, on the beach, shops, on a lovely Roman walk around the 'old' town.(Map available from tourist office) and getting supplies from the 'Eroski' supermarket. Some of the far off beaches on the other side of the island had no parking spaces left, so in the end we stayed near home. Nevertheless, we had a lovely holiday! :-)

Nice and clean

Nice flat, clean and with everything you need. We were there with 2 kids and we really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately we didn't have a car and it was quite a tough walk to and from the beach with young kids. I'll definitely recommend it but do rent a car!

Cala Llonga is perfect for families especially in June when the beach is not too busy.

I chose Cala Llonga as it is an ideal resort for those with young children being such a small and safe village yet just a short taxi ride from the hustle and bustle nightlife of Ibiza Town. Ideal for all ages.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Ibiza at 15 Kilometres Nearest Ferry : Ibiza at 12 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Cala Longa at 1 Kilometres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

The beautiful bay of Cala Llonga is just a 5 minute walk downhill from the apartment.

Travel:

Hiring a car is recommended for those wishing to visit more of the Island, however there are buses to the nearby town of Santa Eulalia and the centre Ibiza Town.

Ibiza Airport is located approximately 20-25 minutes from Cala Llonga.

Distances:

Ibiza Town by car 15 minutes. Santa Eulalia by car 5 minutes.

Further Details:

At just a short walk downhill into the quaint village of Cala Llonga at your disposition are; a number pf restaurants offering Spanish, Italian, Thai and Chinese cuisine, bars (some of which offer entertainment for all ages), three supermarkets, chemist, doctors surgery, souvenir shops. Both boats and buses leave daily for Ibiza town and the nearby town of Santa Eulalia. Excursions also leave for the nearby island of Formentera. For the more adventurous, there is also a scuba diving school.
