Amazing cottage with idyllic garden.

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week at Dog Daisy Cottage. The first thing we saw on arrival was the beautiful garden complete with summer house. On our dry days we enjoyed sitting out there.

The house is tastefully furnished and decorated and feels so warm and welcoming. We enjoyed spending time in the house as well as our many trips out.

The bed is really comfy which was important for me arriving with a bad back.

Debbie and Paul have created a wonderful home away from home.

erittäin siistiä. sisäänkirjautumistapa joustavaa(saavuimme keskellä yötä). asunto oli loistavassa kunnossa. kaikki tarvittava löytyi. Huippu paikka, jota voi varauksetta suositella. (ps watch out when you roast bread, fire alarm is sensitive!!)

This was our second stay at Dogdaisy Cottage and it was everything we expected. Peace and quiet both inside and outside in the private garden of an immaculate and beautifully-furnished cottage.

Excellent cottage in quiet location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a week in this excellent cottage. The property is well presented and well equipped. We enjoyed sitting in the conservatory for breakfast watching the birds and soaking up the wonderful spring sunshine. In the evenings we lit the fire and felt very cosy.

Glanton is a quiet location but well placed to travel out each day. We enjoyed a week of lovely dry sunny weather and visited Cragside, Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Warkworth Castle, Lindisfarne, Etal and the Flodden battlefield and thoroughly enjoyed fish and chips sat by the harbour at Seahouses!

Glanton has a pub but it does not serve food nor does it have local real ale on draught which was a little disappointing. Glanton also has a general store, run by Robert, a local character. He was most obliging and got us a newspaper each day.

We can thoroughly recommend a stay in this cottage!
