Together with Amanda Mitchell (business partner with the shop below) started letting The Bay Flat in 2004. The Flat has been continuously upgraded through the years but there is no improving on the fantastic sea views afforded to most rooms.

This flat was everything we expected and more. The owner who also has the shop below was very friendly and could not help us enough - pram was provided along with all the beach ware!! Accommodation was pristine and very modern. We will be returning with grandparents next time as there were 2 bedrooms unused!!

Perfect, spacious family accommodation

Bay flat is an amazing place for families or couples with the ability to relax its' guests immediately!Clean,well equipped,modern and spacious - we dont want to go home! The Salvage Arms next door is perfect for drinks or amazing meals and Saundersfoot beach is loterally a pebbles throw away. A must for all visitors.

We wanted our own shop and got a beautiful apartment as well.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

One of Saundersfoot's beautiful clean beaches with the all important rock pools is just 200 metres away accessed via the harbour. Buckets, spades and fishing nets available.

The main beach is only a stone's trough away offering safe bathing and wide open spaces. The coast path passes and extends to 196 miles in all!

Travel:

Three and a half hours from London, M4. Cardiff airport an hour and a half. Pembroke Ferries to Ireland 12 miles. Saundersfoot train station 1 mile. Car recommended, but 'in season' not entirely necessary.

Distances:

An hours drive away is St Davids, (the Patron Saint of Wales), which is the smallest city in Britain. Some beautiful coastal footpath walks and pubs/restaurants to be enjoyed at any time of the year. Caldey Island only half an hours boat ride (from Tenby), a place of calm and tranquillity surrounded by seals and birdlife, even the odd dolphin!

Further Details:

Saundersfoot has plenty of restaurants and pubs to choose from as does the nearby Tenby. The village has a Tesco express, a Spar shop, a really good local butchers and bakery. Fantastic farm shops nearby. Pharmacy and doctors surgery within the village.

Several cash points in the village with most high street banks in Tenby where there is also a cottage hospital in case of emergency.

Booking Notes:
Please call or email for initial contact. On confirmation of the booking a £200 deposit is required with balance due 6 weeks before commencement of your holiday. In order to maintain the standard of the property there is a £100 good housekeeping bond that is returnable on departure.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday but is date specific at christmas and new year. The Bay flat is available at 3pm on the day of arrival and has to be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

Notes on prices:
Prices are per week with changeover day on a Saturday.
