Fantastic Townhouse

Loved this Townhouse, lovely couple to deal with. House was immaculate, all essentials & more included. Loads of bed linen & towels. Comfy, clean, quite, private. Beautiful swimming pool, we felt very at home & would highly recommend. Safe for children also. We will be back. We were a party of 3 Adults & 1 child

Wonderful!

We are a group of ladies and have stayed here 3 years running and plan to come for many more. We love the location, you don't need a car because everything you need is a short walk away. The house is so private and it is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Susan is great, friendly, helpful and on the end of a phone should you need her. We are already counting the days till next year :)

Escape to the Sun!

Would highly recommend a stay in this great House which is located in a very safe,secure gated complex.The House and delightful courtyard garden are very well maintained.Everything clean and very spacious inside.I was met by the lovely owners Susan and Damian,who helped me whenever I needed anything.At the beginning of my stay it was very chilly of an eve,so kindly Damian delivered logs and I was able to be very cozy and light the fire.

Getting around was very easy,buses to Fuengirola Marbella etc and a must do is to visit Mijas Pueblo.The train service was also great flying into Malaga Airport you just go the train station,clearly signposted, and buy a ticket at €1.80 and it's 6 stops to El Pinillo station.The house is just a 5 min cab ride or 20 min walk downhill.Alternatively there is a cab rank at the airport and by cab just approx €22/25.00.

I hosted some lovely dinner parties,when friends visited me,and also can recommend some good restaurants when we dined outKate's Kitchen,El Trillo,and the best,but the most expensive was The Spanish Garden.Do visit Champagne Charlie's,owned by Alan,and a proper pub,great music, lovely owner also Pub Carlos, is worth visiting. I have had a fantastic holiday and am already booked up for next month and next year.I highly recommend my "Escape to the Sun"

A little gem!

We are a couple who have taken early retirement and rented this little gem of a house for one month. From the outset we must say that the photos don't do it justice. The house is spacious and very private, as described by previous reviewers. A surprise was the little terrace with the top bedroom, a lovely extra that I'm sure would suit teenagers in a family for a place to 'chill out'. There is only one bathroom but there is an additional toilet and basin downstairs. The main double bedroom is very big and even has the most comfortable chaise longue in it. The garden is just delightful with plenty of room for people to sit/sunbathe. The house is very well equipped with everything you'd need including loads of towels and every type of glass you could ever want. It is a little dated in places, but it was once the family home so it has a wonderful homely feel making it a great place to live. Susan and Damian were very helpful and answered any queries we had promptly. We would have given this place 5 stars but for the lack of UK television and slow WIFI. All in all we just loved it.

lovely surprise

Having stayed in a number of property's in the benchmarks area it was a lovely surprise to find Susan's house. It was far superior to other rentals lovely quiet area of a busy main road. All you could wish for is nearby. The only downside was it was so warm the bedrooms could do with ceiling fans to keep cool at night

Great house and location

This was our second stay at Susan's town house, but this time we brought along our friends so there were 6 of us/ three couples staying.

The house has all amenities, is at a nice, quiet location within a residential complex so it doesn't feel like a touristy environment. There is also a lovely outside space where you can eat al fresco after shopping for a really good variety of fresh and reasonably priced produce at the supermarket across the road. The communal pool is also a nice touch and looks as if it is rarely used at this time of year by the residents- so you could have the pool to yourself at times.

The only negative comment is there was only one bathroom but it never caused an issue as we just planned our use of it at different times.

The location is spot on: walkable to the beach, promenade, shops, trains and buses which are better than the UK and inexpensive. You have access to Mijas, Fuengirola, Marbella, Malaga and from Malaga Maria Zimbrano station you can access Ronda, Seville, Madrid, Barcelona.

Susan and Damian the owners are really friendly and helpful and will answer all your queries.

A good choice of stay in this region of Spain with or without a car - but you really don't require one.

We plan to return as we really live it there.
