Fabulous, modern villa in a 1/4 acre of beautiful lawned gardens on a hilltop in the outskirts of L’Estartit. Villa Margarita, built in 2006 is light & spacious with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (2 en-suites) & guest toilet, offering flexible accommodation for 8-10. The modern kitchen has built-in appliances (oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer) and opens out onto a shady, covered area of the large upper-floor terrace, perfect for outdoor dining. The south facing terrace with solar-heated 9 x 4 metre swimming pool, extends along the front of the property, providing a great place to sunbathe. The property has air-conditioning in all rooms, and has marble flooring throughout. Outside, the gardens provide areas of sun & shade and are bordered by pine forests. The garden gate opens onto the long distance path & cycle route, which passes along the back of the property (GR92). To the front are views across the plains of the river Ter down to the sea, with the beach just 3km away.

Notes on accommodation: Offering the ideal combination of secluded accommodation but only minutes from the beach, supermarkets and restaurant the villa is set on a large lawned plot. There are sun terraces with great places to barbecue and also areas of cool shade, especially under the pine trees in the rear garden. The main living area and the master suite are on the first floor with the guest suite, further bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor. The house design means that the indoor temperature is usually very comfortable but when it is really hot outside, the air-conditioning ensures the house remains cool. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and patio doors open directly onto the covered outdoor terrace with outdoor dining table and 6 chairs. The rear terrace (off bedroom 2) overlooks the garden and is a perfect spot for sun downers. Table and 4 chairs provided. For cooler weather there is underfloor heating throughout the property and the air conditioning is reversible to supply warm air. Outside: The villa is a 240sq.m property on a 1000 sq m plot on the edge of a quiet, well maintained urbanisation. The garden is completely enclosed by fencing and hedging and has direct access onto the GR92 long distance trail suitable for walking, cycling and pony trekking. All of these activities are available locally. There is indoor parking in the garage for one large vehicle or two small cars and further secure parking behind the gates on the driveway for three further vehicles. The impressive Montgri Massif mountain range can be seen from the rear garden and for intrepid walkers the route to the Montgri Castle is signposted from the pathway behind the garden. Utility Room: Within integral garage. Washing machine. Separate sink. Ironing board & iron. Cool box. Gas Barbecue. Large fridge. Clothes airer. Pegs. Further storage rooms in garage. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Property is fully cleaned before arrival. Beds made up with fresh linen. Blankets available in the villa if required. Mid interval clean and laundry change for 14 day bookings is included the price. One large luxury beach towel per person is included. Other: The house is secure with fully enclosed garden & metal window shutters, mostly electronically controlled. Garage door has remote opening & closing. 6 sun loungers are provided. Good collection of books & games.

Absolutely stunning villa

Sam and I had two perfect weeks staying at this wonderful villa in June 2014. The property offers absolutely everything a family or couple could ask for and more.

Situated in an elevated position with views towards the Town of L’estartit and the blue tranquil seas offered by the Mediterranean the villa couldn’t be better located. Set in a quiet urbanisation but just a short drive or taxi ride from town and its vast choice of amenities.

The view from the pool was just stunning, a real gem and one that chills even the more stressful of individuals (that’s me).

A big thanks needs to go to Matt and Julie at Kings Property Managed they attended to everything that we could have asked for (even recommending and English speaking mechanic when my air con decided to pack up on a day that was 37 degrees).

We couldn’t recommend this villa more it really is home from home. Peaceful, luxurious, incredibly well equipped and just well perfect really.

Thank you Glen and Jeanne for giving us the opportunity to enjoy your home and for all the useful tips on where to visit especially the wine shop!! (I say shop mega store is more accurate) We can’t wait for September next year when we return for more of what we have come to love!!

Booking Notes:
When you make your booking, we ask for a non-refundable deposit of 20% to confirm your reservation. The balance will then be payable 12 weeks before your arrival date. We prefer payments to be made directly to our bank account but we also accept cheques and credit card payments.

Changeover Day:
In the summer season (June to September), our changeover day is Saturday with the villa being available from 4:00pm onwards. Guests are requested to vacate the property by 10:00am on their departure day to allow sufficient time for servicing.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the villa based on occupancy of up to 10 people and include a weekly laundry change (bed linen, bath and beach towels) and cleaning. A deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking, with the balance being due 12 weeks prior to arrival. When you arrive in the resort, you will also need to pay the local tourist tax, which is a maximum of €3.50 per adult (over 16). This is payable to our agent, who will also ask for credit card details as security against breakages or damage.
