Apartment in San Juan de Capistrano, Nerja, Costa del Sol, Spain

This lovely apartment is situated in a private, urbanisation on the favoured east side of Nerja, yet is just a couple of minutes walk away from a small cluster of bars and restaurants along with a very good supermarket. The town of Nerja and it’s most popular beach – Burriana are around a 15/20 minute walk. The apartments facilities include a cable supplied flat screen TV and recently installed wifi. Bedlinen and towels. South facing, part covered terrace which gets the sun all day and enjoys total privacy. The terrace has two sun loungers plus table and chairs, ideal for alfresco dining. Ample parking directly outside. No steps to apartment giving easy access for all. Bus stop for Nerja town centre within 50 metres of gate. Please contact owner for full details.

About Paul Greaves

Owner of this property in Spain for 6yrs. Managed to achieve this long time ambition after retiring from 28yrs in the Police service.

As a consequence have redecorated apartment as intend to visit on regular basis, loving the area and local people.

This is as much a bolt hole as a rental property and I hope that this is reflected in the standard that people will find here.

I look forward to a relaxing retirement, as much as time will allow! and many visits to Spain.

Why Paul Greaves chose Nerja

Having visited the beautiful town of Nerja 3 times a year for the past 12 years it seemed only natural to buy a place there.

Hoping to visit regularly having retired after 28yrs in the Police service I cannot think of a more relaxing and friendly place to be.

The town is very holiday friendly with loads of individual shops and fantastic eateries, but has great local supermarkets for the more economy minded self caterers.

Beaches with play parks for the children or walks in the mountains at the back of the community where the apartment is situated makes this an ideal place to visit for all ages and abilities.

So either sun yourself in the secluded patio garden of the apartment, walk around the lovely friendly Spanish town or hit the beaches and you will return time and again.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is so convenient for the local bus into the centre of town (15 mins) with bus stop being 50m from the door.

Majority of apartment is on one level for ease of access ( no steep steps!).

Cross the road to a mini market ( with all you could want) and 2 restaurants.

Excellent food and snacks at a poolside bar very reasonably priced and friendly efficient service.

Apartment is very private with a wall all around, which also stops any wind disturbing your peace and making the patio a true sun trap.

Notes on accommodation: Tastefully decorated apartment which enjoys privacy due to its high surrounding walls. Outside: South facing private patio and garden which is in the sun all day. Sunbeds, umbrella, patio chairs and table provided along with barbecue to complete the alfresco dining experience. Utility Room: Ironing board and iron also provided in main apartment area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen provide with weekly change. Weekly clean also available on request with additional fee.

One month stay Oct/Nov 2016. Nice private apartment with everything required for a long/short stay

We found the apartment perfect for two and still had enough space when joined by our son for the last week. Everything required for a self catering holiday. Lovely small private walled south facing garden which was really nice on some of the more windy days. Easily accessible by car and parking no problem. There is a bus service every hour to and from Nerja town. Last bus back midnight upto end October and nine from Nov which was really useful. Overall very good and suited our needs

Great place to stay !!

We stayed in this property for 3 weeks and found it wonderful for our needs

Fully equipped kitchen , spacious lounge dunning area and a wonderful private patio which is a real suntrap

Bars and pool complex right across the road and a lovely walk down to Burriana beach with all the bars and restaurants in 20mims

For long term stays would be great if it had wifi available but all in all a fantastic place !!

March stay - 2016

Nice little place for two people - clean and well presented - quite basic but comfortable for a self catering week. Small, largely private garden - very enjoyable although there is some passing traffic noise.

All in all, an enjoyable week's stay - easy to find and not that far from local amenities, etc.. We were glad to have a hire car to get around although there is an hourly bus service right outside the door.

Excellent apartment

The apartment is fantastic, very clean, quiet and full furnished with  everything you need. The person in charge of the apartment , Salvador   was very nice and very helpful as well. 

I have only good words for my stay in Nerja. 

We will repeat the next summer for sure.

Dårlig stand og ingen poolkort

Lejer betaler ikke fee til området San Juan De Capistrano, hvilket betyder at der ikke er adgang til den pool der tilhører området.

Syntes bestemt ikke det er uorden at leje ud og der ikke betales fee til området!

Køkken er meget slidt - bestik, tallerkner, glas osv. var snavsede og vi måtte vaske det op inden brug.

Madrasser i soveværelset var meget plettede - virkelig ulækkert, vi så det først da vi ved afrejse tog sengelinned af.

Tørrestativ var i stykker - strygejern virkede ikke - ventilator virkede ikke - der var mug på fliserne i badeværelset - der var kakerlakker i køkken,på komfur der var ringen der holder pladen helt itu -

Vi laver normalt mad selv, men ikke i dette køkken det var for ulækkert.

Der stod i annoncen at der var grill og føntørrer - ingen af delene var der.

Vi kan bestemt ikke anbefale denne lejlighed - vi har lejet flere forskellige i området og har altid været tilfredse.

Vi har betalt overpris!!!!

Vi har taget billeder af madrasser - tørrestativ - mug på badeværelse - komfur som dokumentation.

Nice appartment in a calm neighbourhood

Paul's appartment is really nice , comfortable and well furnished. If you have a car, you can park easily . Beaches in nerja town are 5min by car as the supermarket.

There is all you need to cook (dishes) , bathroom and shower are fine . you should though think to bring base products such as condiments seasoning, sponge and fairy liquid. Please note that there is no air conditioning, but the flat is not too hot especially the bedroom , and you can sleep easily with the portable fan and windows open , since neighbourhood is very peaceful . Finally the terrace is the real plus of this appartement , we took all our meals there from breakfast to dinner , it was awesome .

Ps : access to the neighboured swimming pool is at present not permitted , we hope that Paul will fix it out for next stays .

To book please ring/email owner to check availability. A deposit of 50% is payable with booking, plus euro 75 refundable damage deposit. The balance is payable 3 weeks before departure.

Changeover Day:
Booking periods are usually Sat to Sat in summer, otherwise flexible. In busy summer periods check in would be after 2pm and check out by 10am. However, we will try to be flexible on these times, if it is possible.

Notes on prices:
Reduced pricing for long term rentals on application.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
