Hatira...a modern & spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment over 2 floors, Fully air-conditioned & well equipped. The living accommodation is on the top floor to take full advantage of the large roof terrace and fabulous views of Kalkan and the bay. The apartment has an excellent central location, next to The Dream Hotel. The pool is shared with 4 other apartments, 3 of these are occupied by their owners throughout the year, with only one other apartment being used for holiday lettings. The pool area does provide some shaded area during the day for those who prefer respite from the sun. The roof terrace has full sun all day long...Perfect for sun worshippers!

Why Netts Kemish chose Lycian & Turquoise Coast

Our 1st family holiday to Kalkan was in August 2006. Staying at a hotel very close to the petrol station,it was a very long walk back up the hill !! For some reason I had been hesitant to holiday in Turkey but that changed, Kalkan worked it's magic and I became hooked.

We returned many times over the following years, staying in hotels, renting apartments, trying and testing different locations and facilities.

I viewed many apartments and villas that were for sale but it was in December 2009 when we were in Kalkan for New Year that by luck I came across this apartment, it ticked all the boxes, my search was over.

What makes this apartment unique

2017 will be our 6th year of renting our apartment.

For me the thing I love most about my our apartment is the central location and the stunning views. I also like it that if I want to be with people I can spend time by the pool or pop into town to have a chat with some of the friends we have made, but if I want to be quiet then I can be undisturbed on my roof terrace.

We named our apartment "Hatira" which mean memories in Turkish. We have many wonderful memories of our holidays in Kalkan and hope that you you will too.

We loved the fact that you could easily walk into town and back and to the supermarket/market in the heat without having to use taxis.

The view of the bay is beautiful from the upper terrace.

Free Wi-Fi Apartment block has a large underground water storage facility for back up when there are water supply interruptions. Street parking to rear of the apartment block. This is a no-smoking apartment, therefore we ask that all smoking be kept to the outside areas. Young children must be supervised at all times when using the roof terrace & pool. 3 Hair dryers are provided for use by guests. Locate apartment using Google earth co-ordinates 36.266101,29.415057. Outside: Large roof terrace off top floor living accommodation with dining table and chairs for 6 people. 6 sun loungers, with cushions & umbrellas Built in stone BBQ. Steps from street level leads to 45m2 "L" shape "walk in" shared pool. Shared use of Sun loungers & umbrellas. Under stairs cupboard is home for an iron, ironing board, clothes airers, hot water tank, vacuum and other cleaning equipment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels & linen provided, including beach towels. Property cleaned & laundry changed weekly. A mid- week clean can be arranged if required at guests own cost. Refuse bins are located on the street at the rear of the apartment & are emptied daily

Coast/Beach:

Kalkan's pebbled beach, harbour & beach clubs are within a 10 minute walk.

The much photographed Kaputas Beach which has a 216 step descent to it's waters from the road is approx 5 km away on the road to Kas.

The 12km sandy beach at Patara is approx 14 km west of Kalkan.

Travel:

The nearest airport is Dalaman (Approx 125km). Transfer time is around an hour and a half.

Flights are available to Antalya airport (Approx 197km) and around a 3 hour transfer time.

We can arrange private transfers and/or car hire, at an additional cost, to be paid locally if required.

Our great location means car travel would be optional, not necessary, to get you around Kalkan during your stay.

Fethiye 80km.

Kas 26km.

Saklikent Gorge 35km.

Bezirgan 17km.

Islamlar 5km.

Further Details:

Kalkan Market is held every Thursday and is a 3 minute walk from the apartment. Selling clothing, shoes, bags, spices, Turkish delight, locally produced fresh fruit & vegetables it is well worth a visit...be prepared to "haggle".

The butchers, grocery shops, bakery, banks, post office, bars, cafes & restaurants are within easy walking distances.

There are many places to dine in Kalkan, catering for many different tastes and dietary requirements, We all have many different favourites!

A £100 per week non-refundable deposit at the time of booking is required to secure reservations with the remaining balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.
A £200 returnable security deposit is required with the balance to cover breakages, excessive cleaning or use of electricity. It would be returned within 3 weeks of vacating the apartment.
Payments to be made directly to bank account, details will be provided on booking. Names & contact details of all guests will be required.

Changeover Day:
Flexible. We will try to accommodate your travel needs.
Rooms need to be vacated by 12-Noon to allow cleaning for the arrival of other guests but later check out might be possible. Please enquire.
