Located in a beautiful small complex overlooking the Mediterranean Sea , stunning sea views and minutes’ walk to the beach, this is a large and stylish two bedroom apartment kept in traditional Andalusian style. A very large terrace with private exit from each bedroom and living room. Easy access, no stairs, yet sits on the 3rd floor of the complex, commanding a beautiful view of the surrounding area - sea and mountains. The beautiful beach in front of the unit is dominated by Santa Maria Rock. Watch the sunrise from the balcony or enjoy the sun and the parading yachts. Beautiful quite pool with lounge chairs. A car is recommended to enjoy the area. Walking to buss stops can be via the overpass which takes you to the beach as well. If you do not have a car, you will need to either walk a hill to the unit or use a taxi. Please check the location map on the listing. If you are a good walker or biker, this is a place from where you can explore on the passeo maritimo in front of the unit the Sohail Castle, Walk to beautiful Fuengirola or just wander and explore the Club La Costa resort. A local little Club La Costa shuttle train takes you around the complex, restaurants, grocery shop or medical facilities in Club La Costa.

Why Emilia Clein chose Mijas area

I fell in love with Andalucia and everything which has to offer. The wonderful people and small villages, history and art, culture and music, the sea… When it all comes together it makes for a unique and rich experience.

I kept coming back to see if my first impressions are still there. I visited back many times, and sure enough, the experience was always the same. I wanted a place with spectacular views of the sea, walking distance to the beach, close to wonderful Mijas Pueblo and Marbella. This is a dream location for me.

What makes this apartment unique

Located in the beautiful Pueblo Don Alberto, with double terrace, this unit offers beautiful views of the Santa Maria Rock and beach. The unit is two minutes walk to the beach and 500 meters from beautiful Sohail Castle and boardwalk. The Myramar Shopping Center is 2 km away. Club La Costa Resort with all the restaurants and convenient stores are just steps from the unit. Busy and beautiful Marbella with all the restaurants and busy beaches, Old Town, Flamenco shows is 16 Km away. Or why don't you drive 8 KM up the mountain and visit the pretty White Washed Village of Mijas Pueblo and further up Ronda. Cordoba and the unique Mezquita or Granada and stunning Alhambra are within 1 to 2 hours drive.

5 minutes walk to the beach. A leisure 10-15 minutes walk takes you to the beautiful Sohail Castle and the start of Paseo Maritimo, with more busy beaches.


Beautiful and busy modern Marbella is just 17 Km away. Malaga Airport 25 Km.

A car is essential to enjoy the area.


Ronda with it's oldest Bull Fighting Ring is less than an hour drive.

The closest typical Andalucian White Wash village, Mijas Pueblo is 8 KM drive up the mountains. Here you can enjoy beautiful scenery, local artists, fantastic local restaurants. Cordoba with the unique Mezquita and traditional Flamenco performances is less than two hours drive. Granada and it's signature Alhambra is 1 1/2 hour drive. If you are a windsurfer, famous Tarifa is just 100 KM away.

The beach in front of the unit, has a restaurant and lounge area for your convenience. Check out the restaurant and menu, a view to die for. Sophisticated Old Town of Marbella is just 10-15 minutes drive. Walk in the beautiful old town and enjoy the good food and local restaurants. Within walking distance you have the restaurants at Club La Costa, or the Beatriz SPA Hotel and Resort. La Cala is just minutes away and has very good beaches and restaurants. 20 Minutes drive take you into the center of Malaga, Larios Street and the restaurants and bars close to the cathedral have something for everyone. A longer walk in the evening, take you to the Paseo Maritimo in Fuengirola where you can find accommodating restaurants with plenty of choices from simple to sophisticated tastes.

A great stay at Emilia's

We were very fortunate to stay at Emilia's place for three months. The views are spectacular as stated and the apartment is very well laid out for two couples to share. Although there are no stairs, it is on a hill so be prepared for that. The unit is well equipped and definitely has the feel of a second home rather than a rental. We had a wonderful time and Emilia was very responsive with any issues we had. The complex is quiet and as stated a little out of town, but we walked into town almost daily, but you need to be a walker!

Only downside is the main road, the A7, which is below between the apartment and the sea. Noisy on the patio, but apartment itself is quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful apt clean tidy very andulisian,The weather was absolutely fantastic 82f all week,The apt was Home from Home,Beautiful rooms wonderful views we even had English TV YES WE DID,it was a bit Techi but my wife was very impressed so that started the holiday on a plus,If you don't hire a vehicle its a lot of walking to the supermarkets restraunts e t c but there is a train every hour to take you around the complex,we found the taxis expensive cos we wanted to explore,it says in the welcome pack there is a pool which we couldn't find till thursday by ringing the warden dolly and she showed us where it was,i think in the welcome pack it could be a diagram of where it actually is,Also we wanted to go to Marbella for the day i asked the taxi's and they wanted 35 euros one way so dolly told us to walk to the fuel station along the side of the motorway and catch the public transport which we did and it cost 11euros per couple Return,in my opinion there could be more bars and restraunts in the complex overall a fantastic apt and a fantastic stay Thankyou Amelia.

This time was the fifth year in which we come to this cozy apartment in Pueblo Don Alberto.

The apartment itself had everything you need to feel at home and is well situated close to great tapas bars and walking distance (or quick taxi ride) to main tourist areas and excellent supermarkets. The apartment is very clean and stylish decorated.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms, one have twin beds, other have one double bed, fitted wardrobes and 2 bathrooms, a large open plan lounge with sofas, table & chairs, a well equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine) and a large double terrace.

The apartment is finished to a very high standard with furnishings being new and in first class condition. The cleaning was faultless. The beds and bedding are particularly comfortable.

We particularly liked that the two bedrooms and the lounge gives access to the large terrace with tables, chairs and sunloungers and a very beautiful view to the sea!

We had a very nice stay each time, were exhausted every night after seeing all the sights. We would definitely stay in Pueblo Don Alberto again and recommend to friends.

The apartment made our stay very enjoyable in the beautiful Andalucia. Is convenient to all the places you would want to see in Costa del Sol (Malaga, Mijas, Marbella, Estepona, Gibraltar, Cadiz, Seville, Granada, Cordoba).

The property has a good value for the price paid!

However Emilia, our host was the highlight! She made us feel so welcome even if she was not there...

flawed jewel

dont be fooled by the website,this is an apartment overlooking a 4 lane motorway,and the noise is incessant,also what you are not told is you have to walk along this motorway,within 1 metre of the road with heavy traffic doing about 90mph,we had to taxi in to fuengirola and back every night.the apartment is also up a very steep hill and unless you are very fit you will struggle.the apartment itself needs a lot of updating,very tired.i have emailed the owner and asked her to tell the truth about the accommodation,i shall be watching the website with interest.ken swinburn

As this is my home away from home which I am happy to share with guests, I regret the style was not pleasing. I own this unit for almost 5 years, and what attracted me personalty to it is the homey Andalusian style of the small complex and uniqueness of this double terrace unit with fantastic views of the sea and sunrise from every bedroom and living area. I totally furnished this unit 4 years ago with brand new furniture, fridge and oven, electronics. I am not looking for modern look of today style, I just try to add a personal touch. As I renovated completely one of the bathrooms 3 years ago and the terrace floors 7 months ago, I am trying to stay within that traditional Andalusian Style which I personally very much love and will try to keep the unit that way. To my fellow guests, please carefully look at the pictures to make sure the style fits your desire for the time you vacation. Nothing pleases me more than knowing you feel welcomed in my home while at the unit. I read a few times the description of the unit and reviewed the pictures of the unit. They all reflect the exact way the apartment looks. Again, as any of you is trying to book the unit, check every picture and reflect on the old style. The unit description states that it sits on the 3rd floor no stairs. When you as a guest do not have a car, please be aware you need to use the public transportation available across the unit, by overpass or walk to the unit.
