Villa in Port de Pollensa, Mallorca, Balearic Islands - Peaceful Location, Only 3 Kilometers To The Beach

Finished in a traditional style we are very pleased to offer this 5-bedroomed house which the owner is justifiably proud of. It is set in its own well tended gardens along a very narrow, winding country track ten minutes drive from the Old Town Pollensa. The garden is mature, planted with shrubs and has a carpet of neat lawn which extends around the pool area. From the shaded patio with its large solid pine dining table the aspect over the lawn and pool to the mountains beyond is one of colour variety. A built-in barbecue completes the exterior. Through an arched doorway from the patio the main entrance leads into a cool lobby off which is a fitted kitchen and lounge area and a large separate dining room with light pine beams and lintels. The ground floor has two full bathrooms. The two stair from the dining room lead to the bedroom area and two further smaller bathrooms. There are four twin rooms and one double bedroom each furnished in local pine and with access through one bedroom to a small roof terrace.

This villa is located in scenic countryside, virtually equidistant to the charming old town of Pollença, the coastal resort and long sandy bay of Puerto Pollença and the pretty cove beaches of Cala Sant Vicente, all of which are just a few minutes drive away. Boasting both a large private pool and an enclosed children’s pool with jacuzzi, this lovely property is ideally suited to a group, an extended family or two families wishing to holiday together.

Lovely Villa - spacious, well appointed and very clean.

Lovely outdoor space, pools are both immaculate. Pity the pools are not within sight of one another, especially when you have children of varying ages. Well located for Pollensa, Port Pollensa and Cala San Vincent.

Only downside is that the villa is down a very narrow unsurfaced road - not good for anyone with a bad back! Also there is no WiFi, but neither point would stop me booking it again.

Secluded secret near to beautiful beaches

I stayed here with my three children.

It is a lovely simply furnished villa with a slightly unusual lay out of rooms due to it being two smaller villas joined together..but you quickly get used to that.

The kitchen is basic with no oven but actually between simple/easy holiday food and eating out I didn't need one! Otherwise it is well stocked with all the utensils you will need.

The green sofa in the sitting area could do to be upgraded but that didn't bother us really.

Each bedroom has an air conditioning unit which was much appreciated!!!

The villa was also clean and well maintained with towels provided.

Joan was very easy to deal with and very helpful.

The best feature for us by far was the outside area. A door leads from the kitchen to the outside eating area where we ate all our meals. This overlooks the lovely garden and pool area.Both are very well maintained ( a man came to service/clean the pool on Saturday ) and where we enjoyed spending most of our time whilst at the villa.

The villa itself is on a very narrow winding boreen off the main Pollensa to Port a Pollensa road. Both are a simple few minutes drive away.

Pollensa is a pretty old village to walk around. We went on Sunday to see the fruit and vegetable market.If you arrive on a Saturday I would recommend doing a big shop here..the selection to choose from is great. there is also ham/salami/nuts/ olives etc stalls and the smells are wonderful !

Pollensa also has a lovely/easy to find medical center with English speaking doctors...as does Port a Pollensa.

For a beach we went no further than Port a Pollensa. You can park on the road side and hop over the wall to the beach. You can either rent a parasol and loungers for the day ...about E14...or take a towel to lay on.

We drove over the mountain behind Port a Pollensa to Formentor one afternoon.The views from the top are stunning and well worth seeing. Formentor was disappointing...expensive car parking for a small/narrow beach.

Our other trip was to see the Caves of Drach in Port a Cristo..Well worth the 70 minute drive and still the highlight of the holiday for the children.

Most evenings we went into Port a Pollensa for an ice-cream and a walk along the pine walk/beach by all the restaurants. This is where we ate out ..a super spot alive with people and with many reasonably priced places to eat at.

I would happily recommend staying at this villa.

And only a 40 minute drive from the airport. :-)

The North of Mallorca is spoilt for choice when it comes to golfing, the two places are the Pollensa and Alcanada Golf Courses.

Golf Pollensa is a nine hole course that is perfectly integrated into the beautiful local environment. The course offers panoramic views over the Tramuntana mountains, olive groves, the bays of Pollensa and Alcudia and s’Albufereta reserve.

Golf Alcanada is the only 18 hole course that is right by the sea. It has 58 well placed green side fairway bunkers, challenging greens with hidden breaks and difficult but fair tee shots, making this golf course a must for all experienced golfers travelling to Mallorca.If you or any kids or adults in your group wish to be active, there are numerous activities available to you around this area including trekking/hiking, climbing, rock scrambling, swimming, scuba diving, snorkelling, abseiling, paragliding, helicopter tours, mountain biking, kayaking/canoeing, caving and horse riding.

Coast/Beach:

This villa is in a wonderful location with views of the hills and private pool, still less than 5 minutes by car from the old town, and just 10 minutes from the sea (3 kilometers) to Port of Pollensa Beach, and Cala Sant Vicente Beach.

The property has a gated entrance and plenty of gravelled parking area and a delightful covered terrace at the front of the villa furnished with an exterior dining table and chairs.

This is a lovely peaceful spot overlooking the serene gardens and pool with a lovely backdrop of the Tramuntana mountain range in the distance.

The main entrance is from the covered terrace and leads directly into the lounge dining room that has beamed sloping ceilings and beautifully tiled floors.

The lounge area contains two sofas with a TV, SAT and DVD.

The kitchen have a sloping roof and table for six tenants. A door from the kitchen leads to the terrace.

The are three bedrooms with twin beds and a two with double bed. One bedroom with an en-suite shower bathroom.
