San Ging is an individually designed, modern, detached self-catering cottage situated in an elevated location, on the edge or Keswick Town Centre. The location offers guests the very best opportunity to explore the Lake District countryside and has close proximity to the town centre facilities. With stunning views over Keswick, the nearby mountains and Bassenthwaite Lake in the distance, San Ging offers a 4 bedroom retreat with very special features. Spacious living areas allowing a family, or two families, or group of friends the benefits of being together with the opportunity of independent relaxation. The house is extremely well equipped to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. San Ging has been awarded a 4 star Gold award by Visit Britain.

Short breaks are available from Friday to Monday, or Monday to Friday outside school holidays, at approx. 70% of the weekly rate. Please enquire for prices and availability.

About Helen Ball

Hi, my name is Helen. I enjoyed a second home in the Lake District while living in Yorkshire, but after 9 years of sharing the two I decided to make the Lake District my permanent home. I hope you will enjoy it up here too.

The modern split level layout of the house lends itself to larger families or groups of friends sharing, whether celebrating a special occasion or enjoying a holiday.

Beautiful house in perfect location

The house was beautiful inside and very well equipped. The views are wonderful and the house has a very modern interior. It was lovely to have so much space for our two families to spread out. Lovely complementary visit to the spa at Armathwaite (we loved the outdoor jacuzzi!) Hope to stay here again. Thank you!

Great house, lovely surroundings x

visited with 5 friends and had a lovely stay. property nicer than my house, which isnt bad but the setting of this is just lovely. the surroundings countryside is beautiful. the use of the spa gives a special treat, the treatments there were fabulous. recommend it to everyone. x

Charming house!!

We spent a nice a family time for three nights at Helen's house. The place is spacious and the interior is of good taste. All the equipment are new and practical. The view from the living room is excellent! Helen is very hospitable. My family was very happy. Thank you!!

Great Accomodation, Great Location!

This is a great place to stay if visiting Keswick in the Lake District. Everything about the accomodation is premium and is complete with everything needed if staying in (the garden/patio is great). We visited for the Keswick Mountain Festival and the location was perfect, just a short walk to the town and nearby lakes. We had an amazing time and the owner was available throughout for any queries that we had. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Loved this house!!! Can highly recommend it.

Loved this house! Beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean but still felt homely & welcoming. Kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. Fresh flowers, milk & bread were a nice touch. Description is accurate but doesn't do justice to the space or the fabulous views. Stayed here as 2 families including 4 teenagers and it suited everyone. Communication with owner was very good. Would definitely return!

Paradise in Keswick

Keswick is a busy market town and the adventure capital of the north. It is well known for it's specialist outdoor shops and the many outdoor activities available on the doorstep from walking and mountaineering to sailing or golf. There are many shops, restaurants, a cinema and well reputed theatre, and leisure centre. A number of museums are nearby.

Owners Direct do not allow me to input a specific short break price but calculates an estimated price based on the weekly rate divided by 7 and multiplied by the number of nights requested. San Ging is a premium property in a first rate location offering spacious, good quality accommodation for up to 8 people with extras such as the spa membership, and as such is offered at the fairest price possible. Prices are consistent and do not vary between different channels.
