Bathrooms include a shower and full size bath to soak away any aches from exploring the bens and glens. All properties have an open-plan living area with satellite TV and free WiFi included. The fully equipped kitchens includes fridge with icebox, washer/dryer and dishwasher to minimise effort, while elevated views from the juliet balconies

provide a sunlit south-facing aspect over the river. The charming village is a leisurely stroll away, while the nearby Invergarry Hotel provides fine food and a wide selection of rare whiskies. Getting there is easy - car is the best option.

What a lovely place. very well presented, had everything we needed and ideal location being half an hour from Fort William. Owners responded very quickly to enquiries and were most helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and fellow travellers.

There's just enough local amenities to provide what you need, and more (relatively) cosmopolitan shops and attractions in Fort William or Fort Augustus, either of which are well worth a day out.

Coast/Beach:

The delightfully sheltered Loch Hourn is around 25 miles through a highland estate where deer, foxes, pine martens and red squirrels can often be seen and offers a tranquil safe shallow bay with excellent fishing off the rocks. A path continues to the remote peninsula of Knoydart where some of Scotland's most unspoilt beaches await.

Alternatively, the coast and beaches around famous Eilean Donan Castle are around 45 minutes drive on the "Road to Skye" which runs through Invergarry.

Travel:

Inverness is 40 miles away and the airport serves internal flights to London and Manchester as well as more remote areas of Scotland.

Invergarry is near the junction of the A87 and A82, easily accessible by road.

The nearest train station is at Spean Bridge, around 10 miles away and inter-city buses stop nearby on both A82 and A87.

A local taxi service is available in the village.

Use of a car is recommended to get the most from the large surrounding area but not essential.
