About Mr SJ Steel

I am the third generation to live and work on Ham Farm which is a 190 acre sheep farm.My wife of 25 Years is a Head Teacher, we also have 3 sons. Diversification was started by my Mother 45 years ago. We have kept up the theme by introducing new ways to enhance the beautiful surroundings we are fortunate to live in. We have people that have been returning here on holiday for over 30 years. The log cabin is a recent addition. The village has a pub and a community shop. We are very close to the Cotswold Way that touches the top of the farm.

Just had three night break in this cabin. Location is good for walking the Cotswolds Way. Modern interior and lovely outside space with decking and fab view out to Seven Estuary.

Simply perfect

  • 5 of 5

Great log cabin, stunning location. Peaceful, great owner - nothing it seems too much trouble. Grandchildren invited to observe sheering of the sheep, which they loved. Cabin well equipped and spotlessly clean. All in all perfect.

Lovely log cabin with tranquil views!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here last weekend with our 9 months old twin boys. The communication and support right from making the booking to keeping us updated was superb. Mr Steel the owner always kept in touch and answered every single query we had.

The log cabin is perfect and has everything in it you need for a home away from home stay. Very comfy beds and the cabin is very thoughtfully furnished. The views from the lounge and the decked area are to die for. The village of Coaley itself is so pretty with chocolate box cottages. The surrounding areas are quite picturesque as well. We visited Bourton on the water and Stow on wold. We would be back for another holiday soon as a weekend was too short to enjoy the log cabin, farm and the surrounding areas.

Highly recommended!
