About the Owner

I am the third generation to live and work on Ham Farm which is a 190 acre sheep farm.My wife of 25 Years is a Head Teacher, we also have 3 sons. Diversification was started by my Mother 45 years ago. We have kept up the theme by introducing new ways to enhance the beautiful surroundings we are fortunate to live in. We have people that have been returning here on holiday for over 30 years. The log cabin is a recent addition. The village has a pub and a community shop. We are very close to the Cotswold Way that touches the top of the farm.

Perfect, the break we needed

  • 5 of 5

A beautiful, spacious log cabin well situated in the Gloucestershire countryside. The log cabin is perfectly kept and extremely well equipped, located on Ham Farm surrounded by beautiful views and many equally stunning walks. The owners are lovely people who went the extra mile to make our stay extra special. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. My 12 year old daughter loved everything about the farm and can't wait to go back.

Fantastic holiday home, perfect for families!

  • 5 of 5

What an amazing holiday home. Very well kept, clean, spacious and well equipped, in a superb location on a farm with amazing views. We were made to feel very welcome and the boys (7 and 4) loved every minute. So much within a close distance (by car) for kids and families to enjoy. We enjoyed Puzzlewood, Slimbridge Wetland Centre, Gloucester (The Waterways museum and Cathedral) and Woodchester Park. Amazing walks from the cabin too. We would definitely recommend this to families with children. It was safe for children to play and they enjoyed seeing the animals on the farm (dogs, horse, sheep, chicken and cows). The owners were extremely helpful and friendly.

Spent a lovely relaxing Easter weekend in this beautiful cabin. Beautiful countryside for walking, stunning location, spectacular views from the terrace. The cabin is decked to a very high spec and would recommend this 100%. We will definitely return.

Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a week in July/August this year and it was lovely, we had our grandchildren with us (10, 8 and 18months) and they loved it. The accommodation was first class and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. It was very safe for the children. I would highly recommend a visit to this beautiful part of the world. Not a lot to do unless you travelled further afield (beautiful countryside) but if you just want to "chill" or take advantage of all the walks it's perfect - would definitely like to return.
