Apartment in Peyia, Paphos, Cyprus - Peaceful location.

The apartment is situated in Peyia, which is an idyllic village set in the hillside, just North West of Paphos. The village centre hosts the majestic Greek Orthadox church, which towers over the locals going about their daily routines. Small tavernas and bars welcome you with warmly. Those needing to keep in touch will find WIFI in most public places. The smell of delicious baked bread, tantilises your tastebuds, together with all the sumptuos local cakes and pastries. Plenty of outlets for fine wines and food for that essential alfresco dining. Perhaps a visit to the local football stadium to watch the amazing Peyia football team play - they are very highly rated in Cyprus. The setting is ideal for a couple wanting a relaxing getaway or a small family. Ideally a car is essential, which will be great for exploring the island in general.

Lovely Apartment

Loved this apartment and would definitely like to stay here again and would recommend to others. Nicely furnished and equipped with everything needed for our stay. The very large balcony, also nicely furnished, has the most amazing views! Swimming pool area lovely and very well maintained. Communication with the owner was great, thank you Kevin

lovely comfortable apartment with everything you need. It is in a great location with great views. You need a car to get about. a quiet location perfect if you want a relaxing holiday. Would definitely stay here again

Nearest Airport : Paphos at 20 Kilometres Car: necessary

Special interest holidays:

The apartment is in a perfect location to visit the Akamas National Park - the last unspoilt stretch of Cypriot wilderness, providing much interest for nature enthusiasts and walkers. Mountain bike hire is available in nearby Coral Bay. Further trekking available in the Troodos mountains. There are numerous historical sites, churches and charming villages all within a comfortable drive. Coral Bay with its water sports and scuba diving schools are only a short drive away.


The blue flag beach at Coral Bay is just 5 minutes away by car. There are lots of water sport activities to keep you entertained at the beach, plus there are 2 beach bars which provide shower and toilet facilities. You can hire sunbeds on the beach.


The closest airport is Paphos International Airport which is about 30 minutes drive from the apartment. Several international and local car hire companies have desks in the airport building or have offices in the car parking area, each with their own dedicated car parking areas. Larnaca Airport is approximately one and a half hour's drive away and has similar facilities. To get the most from a holiday in Peyia a hire car is recommended.

Peyia borders the beautiful and unspoilt Akamas National Park where miles of tracks can be found.

Peyia is a charming and traditional village perched upon the slopes overlooking Coral Bay it boasts characterful tavernas, cosmopolitan restaurants, bars, local shops including bakeries, butchers, supermarkets and banks with plenty of narrow streets to wander around, with ancient stone houses and colourful gardens.

Coral Bay has plenty of tavernas, shops, bars, restaurants, as well as many other resort amenities including Crazy Golf, Pitch & Putt, Go-Karts, Quad bikes, Sand Buggies, even local horse riding. Famous for its picturesque crescent-shaped blue-flag beach with cafes and lots of different watersports available - as well as plenty of free parking!

Agios Georgios has a lovely secluded beach as well as taverna and picturesque fishing harbour (regular bus service from Coral Bay).

Paphos has a majestic medieval castle, picturesque harbour lined with bars, restaurants, Roman mosaics. Nearby is the historical Tombs of the Kings a system of Roman caves and rock-tomb complexes.

Lara Beach boasts 2km of beautiful beach.

Akamas Peninsular spectacular, rugged scenery.

Polis/Latchi on the north coast, surrounded by orange groves.

Further afield but well worth the drive is the Troodos Mountains.

  • Notes on accommodation: All rooms have dual air-conditioning/heating units. The apartment is suitable for both families and couples. No smoking in the apartment (thank you) Both bedrooms and the lounge have blackout blinds. There is private undercover parking. There is a travel cot available at no extra cost, however you will need to provide your own sheets for this. If you are travelling with other families and would like to be together we have details of other apartments that can be rented during the same period. A welcome pack can be provided for a small charge - please ask for details when booking. Any damage or breakage must be replaced or paid for. Outside: The large balcony which overlooks the swimming pool has table and chairs and parasol for 4 people for outside dining and sun loungers for sunbathing. There are exceptional views of the Mediterranean coastline plus panoramic views of Peyia and surrounding villages. There is a large private communal pool. The pool area has changing rooms and showers for males and females. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Apartment towels and linen are provided. The apartment is cleaned and linen changed before you arrive. We ask that you leave the apartment as you find it. Additional cleaning can be arranged upon request at a supplement.
