The kitchen area has everything you may require during your stay with american fridge freezer, dishwasher & washing machine. The secluded pretty garden & terrance are ideal for long evenings & BBQ's. The property is 1.5km from St Martin de Fressengeas which has a scrumptious bakery & general store. Numerous local recommended restaurants. Thiviers is 10 kms away with 4 supermarkets, restaurants, banks & a renowned Saturday market. A 20 min drive takes you to Brantome - the "Venice of the Perigord". Perigueux Bergerac & Limoges within easy reach by car. There are numerous lakes within driving distance which provide a full range of water sports. Outdoor activities include canoeing, horse riding, trekking, climbing & a local cycle track. Jumillac le Grand and Hautefort chateaux are within easy reach.

Perfect rural rustic France!

Les Prades is a charming property, full of rustic french features and equiped with everything you could want for your break.

It is in a pretty setting. Surrounded by lots of fields.

Good for families - the bedrooms are very spacious and cool. Plenty of room to relax in.

The location means that a car is essential but this means you would be free to explore the region better - or just laze by the lovely pool if you would rather!

The owners have provided lots of little extras - a cupboard of wooden trains and track kept my two year old occupied for hours. Plus the welcome basket of treats was a lovely touch.

Communication with the owners was excellent.

I will definitely be recommending the property to anyone looking to holiday in this area.

Booking is directly with us the owners, deposits of 25% are required to confirm your booking, the balance being due no later then 8 weeks before arrival. A damage/extra cleaning charge of £200.00 is required at the time of your balance payment, this is returned within 2 weeks of the end of your holiday, depending on condition of the farmhouse upon departure.

  • Outside: The pool boasts all day sunshine as it is positioned on the top level of the garden which is accessed by steps from the back door leading into the garden. The house is set in approximately an acre of private, pretty enclosed gardens which are well maintained. Separate covered outdoor dining area with large table and chairs and gas BBQ. The back garden grassed area is flat and ideal for garden games, table tennis table provided as well as room for children to explore. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedlinen, towels provided, including pool towels. The house is maintained between each let. Weekly cleaning & towel change is available at additional charge. The house should be cleaned by parting guests.The pool will be cleaned during & after your visit.
