Penthouse Apartment in Puerto Pollensa, Mallorca, Balearic Islands - 1 Minute Walk to the Beach

The principal living space is open plan, containing both the dining area and lounge. There is a 80 m2 terrace with lovely view of the sea and mountains in the upper side of the house. There are two balcony terraces in the lower side (bedrooms and living area) with views to the beach and the sea. The master bedroom has a double bed, private en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has twin beds and a separate shower room. Air-condition hot and cold in the whole apartment. There are an abundance of restaurants and cafes offering a wide range of cuisines. The local supermarkets and shops are all within easy reach and the majority remain open into the evening.

Fantastic location, neat place

My wife and I stayed here in October 2016. Owners were very responsive and extremely nice. Morning routine was wake up, walk downstairs to get fresh croissants and cappuccinos. Head back upstairs to a balcony or the rooftop and enjoy the morning. Then walk one block to the beach and swim laps in the Med while the wife read a book in a lounge. Afternoon and evening we'd walk around to any of the many local restaurants.

Windows and sliding glass doors everywhere in the condo. Hanging out on the rooftop was a real treat!

Parking was no problem.

Clean, good facilities, perfect location.

Loved this apartment, it is very clean and well maintained. Modern and perfectly located off pine walk next to everything with sunshine all day. It was easy to find and owner is very nice.

We had a lovely holiday and will book again.

The only small criticism is that the stairs are steep with no handrail and it would be good to have some hooks for towels etc? Other than that we were delighted.

Wonderful apartment and location

We are just back from a wonderful holiday in this apartment.

That apartment is clean and spacious and has everything you need for a great holiday. The location is just about perfect, one street back from the front with shops, restaurants and parking all a very short walk away.

On top of that (literally) is the fabulous roof terrace. It was great to have so much private outdoor space so that we could enjoy lazy breakfasts in the morning sun and relax with a book and a drink as the sun started to go down.

We certainly hope that we can get a chance to stay here again, and we are already starting to look at flight times for next year.

An amazing apartment in a great location with everything you could need.

We were delayed arriving due to air traffic issues over France. On landing, we had a friendly email asking if everything was ok. We were met by the housemaid on arrival. She showed us around the apartment and how things worked.

The apartment really is nice - far better than the pictures show. It is modern, light, airy and feels very spacious. The lounge/dining area has fully opening sliding doors, so you can open the entire side of the house to the balcony to let the sun and fresh air in. There were enough plates and glasses for 10 people.

The beds were very comfy, the showers were hot and powerful, but the real jewel in the crown for this property is the rooftop terrace. It has full sun for the whole day with a shaded area and a cooling rooftop shower. There is a lot of storage for clothes in both bedrooms.

Parking in the area is plentiful and you are less than 1 minute from the beach (our younger daughter counted 100 steps and she has little steps!!!).

The apartment has fibre optic broadband that also supplies the TV channels (if you need to watch TV). This kept our teenage girls in contact with their friends and allowed for facetime conversations with their friends and our family.

Paz and Tolo were helpful from our first request to book the property to our departure and generally replied to emails within a few hours.

I would highly recommend the apartment and we would happily stay there again (if there is availability).

Excellent location and facilities

We stayed here one week in May 2016 and everything was excellent. It is a quiet location, but still close to shops and restaurants. The apartment had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay and was clean and tidy when we arrived (and also when we left... :-))

Views from the roof terrace are just great. The sea in one direction and mountains in the other directions.

We did not get the chance to meet the owner, but as we did not have any specific requests, this was not a problem.

We are quite sure we would choose this apartment again if we come back.

Highly recommended!

The appartment is in an amazing location, stunning views of both sea and mountains from the roof terrance and the appartment is fully equipped with all that is needed. The owner was friendly, helpful and easy to deal with and everything is just as stated on site.

We stayed 2weeks here at the end of June going into July 2014 and it was a perfect experience! Highly recommended!

Since I was born I have always spent the summers in Puerto Pollensa. And I want my children enjoy the holidays in this wonderful location within Mallorca. We have lots of freinds here and we really enjoy it.

Activity and Interests

Travel:

Palma Airport is approximately 50 minutes away by car journey and costs around 70 euros in a taxi. Car hire can be arranged at either the airport or locally in Port de Pollenca.

Distances:

Port de Pollenca is a 50 minute drive from Palma Airport. Pollenca town is 10 minutes by car or bus. Cala San Vicente is 10 minutes by car. The bay, old town and port of Alcudia are 15 minutes away by car or bus.

Sa Pobla, is about 20 minutes by car and has train access into central Palma where a further train can take you to Soller on the famous narrow gauge railway line through the citrus groves.

The caves at Campanet are a 'must see' and are about 20 minutes from the apartment.

Further Details:

Port de Pollensa has everything you could desire for an excellent holiday. The scenery is spectacular, with many small beaches and coves. The main resort beach offers a wide range of water sports, including windsurfing, paragliding and pedlos. There are an abundance of restaurants and cafes offering a wide range of cuisines. The local supermarkets and shops are all within easy reach and the majority remain open into the evening. Local beaches are clean, well maintained and many offer the hire of sunbeds. Cap de Formentor is a popular day trip destination, with boats departing twice daily from the harbour. Coach trips and a local bus service provide ample opportunities to visit a wide range of other destinations. Car and cycle hire are also available locally.
