Sunnybank Bungalow, provides light and airy open plan living for a perfect beach holiday. The large sun terrace overlooking Porth Beach is ideal for relaxing and dining whilst taking in the stunning beach views. It is in the perfect place to stay and explore the North Cornwall Coast and is ideal for families, surfers and keen walkers. Fistral Bay, Watergate Bay and the Activity Beach at Lusty Glaze are nearby and access to the coastal path is only 200 metres away. Quality restaurants are abound with Jamie Oliver's '15' at Watergate Bay, Rick Stein's 'Seafood Restaurant' at Padstow and Nathan Outlaws 'Seafood and Grill' at Rock are all within easy reach. Great days out are to be had at the beautiful harbour town of Padstow, The Eden Project at St. Austell, Bedruthan Steps and all the local attractions at Newquay. This makes Sunnybank Bungalow a great holiday property for all seasons.

We knew that we wanted a holiday home in Cornwall for a few years before we bought Sunnybank Bungalow. We spent a great deal of time looking because we wanted to be able to see and enjoy the beach directly from the property rather than having to drive to it. The time we spent searching was certainly worth it and I am sure you will agree!The property is perfect for a beach holiday.

With 2 parking spaces across from Porth Beach you could not get any closer. There is storage for surf boards and wet suits when not in use. The large sun terrace is a perfect spot for sunbathing, dining or just relaxing and watching the world go by.

We knew that we wanted a holiday home in Cornwall for a few years before we bought Sunnybank Bungalow. We spent a great deal of time looking because we wanted to be able to see and enjoy the beach directly from the property rather than having to drive to it. Great holiday home exactly as described.

Good communication before and after holiday. Including directions to house. Arrived and found house clean and welcoming. There are a few stairs up to the garden and once there the view of the beach is fabulous. Everything was as described and very well maintained.

I would say the house had everything required for our 10 day stay, all good quality and in working order.

Porth Beach is literally across the road and from there you can walk around the cliffs into Newquay.. Took maybe 20mins. The wee cafe just off the beach was nice. We did this walk almost every day. Saved taking the car!

On sunny days we used the sun loungers provided and enjoyed the peaceful garden, though watch out for the resident seagull who stole our full block of Stilton cheese!! 😀

Towel and bedding changed midway thru by a lovely couple who made sure everything was in order. Good quality bath towels available in each room.

Make sure and visit Cloud Cafe when in Newquay, really good food and nice service.

There is a Tesco express nearby but no handy local shop for a paper or pint of milk but that didn't matter to us really.

Overall this was a good value bright home and we would definitely come again. Breakage deposit returned as soon as we were home.

It would be good to have a comments book to share what was good locally + places to visit.

No complaints at all. Thank you very much for a lovely time and for providing the sunshine too. ☀️

Excellent place to stay

Well equipped, comfortable and homely accommodation right across the road from Porth beach. A great location for exploring all of Cornwall. Would not hesitate to book again.

The owners were very helpful during the booking process and attentive throughout.

A great holiday was had by all.

Fabulous holiday every time

We have stayed at Sunnybank for 3 consecutive years and would thoroughly recommend it. The location is excellent: close enough to walk to Newquay, but quiet enough to get away from it all and enjoy the stunning views and coastal path. The property is furnished to a very high standard and has a very warm and welcoming feeling. The owners have always been extremely helpful, in sorting out minor issues. We would thoroughly recommend it for a family holiday.

Perfect location, gorgeous house, we'll be back!

Lovely clean, modern holiday home in the most perfect location. The home was well equipped and beautifully decorated, with comfy beds and plenty of storage. The car port underneath was very handy and the decking area outside was the perfect spot to enjoy the afternoon and evening sun. We enjoyed the coastal walk to Watergate Bay for breakfast and had a fabulous evening meal at Lusty Glaze which was just 15-20 mins walk in the other direction (beachside location with live music on a Friday). The whole of that part of Cornwall is just gorgeous - we visited Padstow and Mevagissey, as well as Falmouth and Mousehole. The beach at Porth itself is perfect for families, and Newquay is just 5 mins drive. I couldn't fault either the bungalow or the whole holiday. Many thanks - we will be returning!

HAPPY CUSTOMER ...

We were very happy with the location, standard and functionality of this property. Simple luxury with everything you could need to be comfortable whether in and out all day and night or to chill out on the veranda watching the world go by. Memory foam mattresses very comfortable after long days out. We loved the open plan kitchen/lounge as cooking and dining was quite social, especially as you can look out over the verana/watch the children while cooking etc. A beautiful spot for watching the sunset. Quite a peaceful spot but not too isolated, great location for touring the North Cornwall coast. I have a 6 year old son and this was his first 'surfboarding' holiday. We have booked this property again for August 2014. The owner is lovely too, straightforward communications.
