Brick Kiln Cottage is a recently converted single storey barn. It is on a working arable farm surrounded by the beautiful Kent countryside, with many walks through the fields and surrounding area, including the Greensand Way, you could even discover a variety of wildlife including herons, ducks and woodpeckers yet only one hour into London by train from Staplehurst or Channel Ports. Many National Trust properties and gardens to visit or if shopping is your passion we are only approximately 40 mins from Bluewater Shopping centre. We also have many Gold Courses within 10 mins of the cottage including Chart Hills at Biddenden Kent. Please contact the owners for rates !!!!

Brick Kiln Cottage has wheelchair access with large walk in wet room and level access. We have plenty of car parking directly outside of cottage.

We all loved the peace and quiet as well as being less than half an hour away from some fabulous places to visit, may you (Sue & Phil) continue to have full rooms and a book full of positive glowing comments.



Family Verhage - Holland - We enjoyed our stay, a very very clean cottage, beautiful landscape, nice to have public footpaths nearby great castles and gardens, We hope to come back another time and bring more family with us.

Notes on accommodation: I am very sorry we cannot accept pets in our cottage and it is a non smoking cottage, smoking allowed outside only. Outside: The cottage has an enclosed small garden suitable for young children or a larger area of grass for older children to play on. There is ample parking outside the cottage The patio has wooden garden furniture suitable for up to six people with parasol and BBQ on request. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and linen are included in the price and are changed on a weekly basis. Other: Hallway with two large cupboards, one houses the washer/dryer hoover iron ironing board games etc.

Coast/Beach:

The nearest beaches can be reached within 45 minutes drive, these include Hythe, Dymchurch, Camber Sands, Rye and Whistable famous for its oysters.

Travel:

Gatwick is approximately 45 mins or Heathrow 1 hour 15 mins driving time

Channel Ports are also approximately 45 mins from the cottage, all these times depending on the Motorway traffic. A car is essential as we are very rural.

Distances:

Chart Sutton village is 1.5 miles from the farm and only has a small village shop on the green.

Sutton Valance 3 miles from the farm has a post office.

Staplehurst and Headcorn are within 3-5 miles from the farm and have supermarkets and many small interesting shops and restaurants and take a ways.

The famous Leeds Castle is 5 miles from the farm and Sissinghurst Castle Gardens is 8 miles away.

We also have a wealth of National Trust properties and gardens within 30- 60 minutes drive.

Further Details:

As before we have many shops banks restaurants in the villages of Staplehurst and Headcorn 3-5 miles driving time. There are also many farm shops which sell locally produced food, friut and vegetables, cheeses and fruit juices

Maidstone and Tenterden have a public swimming pool, Maidstone has a mulit cinema complex. Headcorn has a small airfield and a war museum (open on Sundays).

Booking Notes:
Bookings are confirmed with a completed booking form (found on my website on the bottom of the tariff page) and a one third deposit. The balance is due six weeks before arrival. There is a £100 refundable deposit payable on arrival, see conditions of hire No 19 for details.

Changeover Day:
Book for a two week stay to receive a 5% discount. Preferred changeover is Saturday during the busy time but flexible out of season. A minimum of three night stays out of high season are somtimes available.

Notes on prices:
Prices from 2016 will be from £425 per week up to £750 per week depending on time of year and number of people staying. We do a discount if not all the bedrooms are being used.

Sorry no pets allowed. Children welcome.
