We live in West London & have 2 young children.

We bought the property as much for them as us & intend to spend as much time as possible there enjoying the Sunshine!

However given the restrictions of school holidays it does sees a shame to leave it empty for so much of the year & feel it makes sense to offer it out for rental.

We loved the fact that the penthouse has such fabulous views across the countryside & across to Gibraltar. The location is fantastic being close to Marbella, Puerto Banus & Estepona, not forgetting the gastronomic village of Benahavis.

We have several friends who own properties within a few miles of ours.

What makes this apartment unique

It is in a great location close to all amenities yet quiet enough to be able to relax away from the stresses of the outside world.

Featuring a rattan dining table for 6 plus an outdoor sofa and 2 chairs. Sun-loungers & 2 huge beanbags available for relaxing in the terrace! Four outdoor pools. Spa facility for exclusive use of guests including: heated indoor pool, gym, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi. Utility Room: Washing machine with tumble dryer, wine/beer fridge, charcoal BBQ. Iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: "White company" towels and Eyptian Cotton bed linen. For 2 week stays the maid will call at the end of the first week to change the towels/bedlinen.

Fabulous stay in this luxury apartment

This was a return visit for us to this beautiful apartment. We first visited 2 years ago for a family holiday with our teenage sons and their friends. Whilst there we vowed to return in order to share the spectacular views from the balcony with some of our friends. Our silver wedding anniversary gave us a perfect excuse to arrange this latest trip. Like ourselves our guests really appreciated the well equipped apartment, the comfortable beds and the relaxing pool area. The location of the property is ideal with trips to Puerto Banus and Marbella old town only a short journey by car. However our favourite place to eat was Benhavis, which boasts an excellent range of good quality restaurants in a pretty environment. We also made use of the very conveniently located Mercadona supermarket, a stone throw away from the apartment, to stock up on food for the BBQ and the much favoured local Sauvingnon Blanc! This holiday was everything we hoped it would be and more.Mark, the owner was extremely helpful with all the booking arrangements and Louisa, the property manager who greeted us on arrival was easy to contact and very friendly. Book this apartment and you will not be disappointed, we hope to return again in the not too distant future.

Stunning views and spacious apartment

Just returned home after a very enjoyable ten night stay in this wonderful complex.

It was nice to see that the reviews that we had read before arriving were spot on. My wife and l used the apartment as a base to tour the Costa del Sol, having never been down this far before. It turned out to be a very wise decision. The apartment itself commands spectacular views from Gibraltar to way past Mabella to the east. It is set within a gated community, with further gated access to the lower floor garage so you always feel very secure. Although there is a local Mercado supermarket, along the coast there is a major Carrefours in Estepona, which is far cheaper and better stocked. The apartment itself is very comfortable, with each room having it's own en suite, and access to a balcony. It is also equipped with just about everything you would want in a rental of this quality. Access to the property on our first day was a breeze, with Louise meeting us at the gate, and explaining how everything worked. I would definitely recommend this apartment for a first rate holiday !

Fantastic apartment in a great location

In one word - Wow! I stayed with my daughter and grandson of 15 months - amazing apartment, so well equipped - lovely to see the high chair and cot already set up too. The balcony is huge and watching the sun rise and sun set too everyday - very special. The complex and apartment is secure, which was very important to us. We loved the main pool and were really surprised at how quiet it was. Thank you Mark for all your information and help before our trip and thank you Louise for meeting and greeting us and giving us some useful tips. We had a fantastic holiday - looking to return next year with my husband

Rest & Relaxation

We stayed at the penthouse for 13 nights in August, 3 Adults and 3 children aged between 8-10 years. Loads of space for everyone, and the balcony around the property gave us some tremendous views to sit and chill out. Unfortunately the spa wasn't open during our stay due to refurb, but we used the gym daily. The whole complex is very well maintained and secure. We had expected it to be busy given summer peak but it was very quiet not just at the complex but in all the places we visited. Most days there were only a handful of people at the pool we used and on many occasions we had it to ourselves. Life guard was on duty until 7pm daily. Benahavis was our favourite destination, we ate there on a couple of occasions and my friend and her son also did the Benahavis Riverwalk. The Argentine restaurant very close by was excellent. Having the supermarket within walking distance was very handy. Views in the area are magnificent. We went on the cable cars in Bellamadina and also had a day trip to the Bahia Waterpark which the kids loved. Playa de la Rada beach is lovely, much better than San Pedro which was too painful on the feet for the kids. Definately recommend the property and area, and I'm sure we will visit again.

Very good .

A very spacious apartment with great views . Good size bedrooms all with en suite . The Benatalaya complex is very well kept and situated well for San Pedro, Benahavis and other towns , taxis are easily available if you do not have a car . Overall a great holiday .

Coast/Beach:

Benatalaya is 5 minutes drive from the beaches of San Pedro, Estepona and 10 minuties drive to Puerto Banus. On this coast there is something for eveyyone -families, couples, groups of friends and golfers. It has been developed specifically for tourism. Sierra Nevada, the Andalucian Lakes and numerous national parks are all within 2 hours drive from the Costa del Sol providing unspoiled dramatic scenery and the ultimate in recreational activities, perfect for those who like walking and hihiking.

Travel:

Fly into Malaga International or Gibraltar Airport. There is so much to offer in this area that a car is highly recommended. Malaga Airport is one of the busiest airports in Europe, all budget airlines fly to this region of Spain.

Benatalaya is a 3km drive inland, along the Guadalmina River (A-7475 Benahavis road) from the N340/A7 coast road near San Pedro. Airport: Malaga/Gibraltar 65km. Railway: Marbella 10km. Ferry: Puerto Banus 8km.

Distances:

There is a large Mercandona supermarket a minutes walk form the apartment. It is 5 minutes drive to Benahavis and San Pedro which are typically Spanish towns with lots of lovely restaurants, bodegas, shops etc. The famous Marina at Puerto Banus and cosmopolitan Marbella with its cobbled streets and Orange Square are within a 10 minute drive. Beautiful Ronda nestling amongst the Sierra Blanca mountains with the oldest Bullring in Spain is reached easily within 50 minutes.
