We live in West London & have 2 young children.

We bought the property as much for them as us & intend to spend as much time as possible there enjoying the Sunshine!

However given the restrictions of school holidays it does sees a shame to leave it empty for so much of the year & feel it makes sense to offer it out for rental.

Superb Holiday in a fabulous Penthouse Apartment

This is a fabulous property, I stayed here with my 2 children, my wife and her parents for a week in July 2015. The owner of the property Mark and the manager Fernando could not have been more helpful. Spacious Penthouse with views of Atalaya Golf Course and Golf Academy within 5 mins drive. Owner recommended restaurants with reviews and Sky TV included. We had a super time here and I would thouroughly recommend it to anyone. Simon

Lovely apartment and great views

Best view in the complex

We have just returned from a 3 week stay at Mark's excellent apartment. It is in a superb position, being one of the higher apartment blocks in this secure and beautifully manicured complex. The USP of the apartment is the huge wrap around terrace with stunning views towards Gibraltar and Morocco, particularly at sunset.

The apartment is bright and clean, well equipped and very tastefully furnished. The rooms are a generous size, especially the master bedroom, with patio doors onto the terrace.The afternoon sun in November keeps the apartment bright and warm and there is always a sunny spot somewhere on the terrace during the winter months. The internet TV is very reliable, enabling us to watch live UK TV. The wi fi signal is also strong. We used the indoor spa pool/steam room/sauna on several occasions and often had the place to ourselves.

There is a good supermarket within walking distance but you do need a car to appreciate all the places around to visit. The apartment has a secure underground garage with 2 parking places.

If you are a tennis player the nearby Bel Air tennis club is ideal for visitors. Their 'mix ins' enable you to play 3 hours of organised doubles at a friendly club for €9. If you want to learn or improve your golf the apartment overlooks the 'Enjoy golf academy' at the Atalaya Park driving range. This offers amazing value; €10 per day or €25 per week for up to 7 x 45 minute lessons from the pros.

We have no hesitation in recommending Mark's apartment. He was very professional in handling our booking and responded to any queries often immediately or at least within an hour or two.

The 5 star rating is well deserved. We would love to return.

Fabulous penthouse apartment, stunning views!

We booked this property based on the photographs and previous reviews on the website. We were not disappointed!! The location of the complex was ideal, Just a short drive from Benhavis and with easy access to Marbella. A car is required to explore the surrounding areas but not essential if you simply wish to have a leisurely break as there is an excellent supermarket within a five minute walk. The views from the balcony are fantastic. We used two of the four available swimming pools during our stay and also made use of the Spa (indoor pool, gym, sauna) We travelled with our two teenage sons, one took a friend and the other took his girlfriend,. The layout of the apartment meant that we all had our own space, each room had its own bathroom and direct access to the balcony. The facilities of the apartmant were faultless, the kitchen well equipped, rooms very clean and everything well maintained. Our favourite day out was spent at the very popular natural beauty spot: Las Angosturas which is located on the way to Benhavis, here we were able to jump into the natural rock pools and experience an amazing river walk. During our holiday we also enjoyed a trip to Gibraltar, evenings down at Puerto Banus and a lovely meal in the beautiful Orange Square, old town Marbella. I would definitely recommend this property to others . Mark provided excellent customer service from the moment of booking and on our return. We certainly hope we can go back to this property with family or friends in the not to distant future.

We loved the fact that the penthouse has such fabulous views across the countryside & across to Gibraltar. The location is fantastic being close to Marbella, Puerto Banus & Estepona, not forgetting the gastronomic village of Benahavis. We have several friends who own properties within a few miles of ours.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Malaga or Gibraltar at 70 Kilometres Nearest Beach : San Pedro at 2 Kilometres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

Benatalaya is 5 minutes drive from the beaches of San Pedro, Estepona and 10 minuties drive to Puerto Banus. On this coast there is something for eveyyone -families, couples, groups of friends and golfers. It has been developed specifically for tourism. Sierra Nevada, the Andalucian Lakes and numerous national parks are all within 2 hours drive from the Costa del Sol providing unspoiled dramatic scenery and the ultimate in recreational activities, perfect for those who like walking and hihiking.

Travel:

Fly into Malaga International or Gibraltar Airport. There is so much to offer in this area that a car is highly recommended. Malaga Airport is one of the busiest airports in Europe, all budget airlines fly to this region of Spain.

Benatalaya is a 3km drive inland, along the Guadalmina River (A-7475 Benahavis road) from the N340/A7 coast road near San Pedro. Airport: Malaga/Gibraltar 65km. Railway: Marbella 10km. Ferry: Puerto Banus 8km.

Distances:

There is a large Mercandona supermarket a minutes walk form the apartment. It is 5 minutes drive to Benahavis and San Pedro which are typically Spanish towns with lots of lovely restaurants, bodegas, shops etc. The famous Marina at Puerto Banus and cosmopolitan Marbella with its cobbled streets and Orange Square are within a 10 minute drive. Beautiful Ronda nestling amongst the Sierra Blanca mountains with the oldest Bullring in Spain is reached easily within 50 minutes.

Further Details:

The Costa del Sol remains the best loved holiday destination and is the most southerly coast of Spain. This is where the unspoiled farming and vineyard mountain regions meet bustling cities and marinas, secluded coves and beachfront promenades.
