We live in West London & have 2 young children.

We bought the property as much for them as us & intend to spend as much time as possible there enjoying the Sunshine!

However given the restrictions of school holidays it does sees a shame to leave it empty for so much of the year & feel it makes sense to offer it out for rental.

We loved the fact that the penthouse has such fabulous views across the countryside & across to Gibraltar. The location is fantastic being close to Marbella, Puerto Banus & Estepona, not forgetting the gastronomic village of Benahavis.

We have several friends who own properties within a few miles of ours.

It is in a great location close to all amenities yet quiet enough to be able to relax away from the stresses of the outside world.

2 week stay in the Benatalaya penthouse.

There were 5 of us comprising of 3 sister and husbands of 2 of the sisters, our ages for the group ranged from 59 to 67. Upon arriving we were excited to get into the penthouse to see if it was a detailed. Not disappointed there it was in excellent condition and the views from the balcony which went round 3 side were stunning.

We were in easy reach of Benahavis, San Pedro Alcantara, and Porto Banus, which we visited on many occasions for meals and evenings out.

The 2 gentlemen played golf at the nearest course which was Atalaya golf and country club. The ladies joined us on a few occasions for lunch and a few drinks when we finished playing. We were made so very welcome each time we visited.

Louise who looks after the penthouse was always available to keep us correct with an questions we had.

Would recommend this penthouse for any family looking for excellent accommodation in the Costa Del Sol.

The main thing that attracted our group was having the 3 on suits, and the previous references of people who stayed here.

Thanks Mark for opening up your penthouse for people to rent.

Impressive balcony and views. Very comfortable stay

Very comfortable apartment with cracking views across towards Gibraltar and all around. Lovely balcony and spa. Nice situation with convenient supermarket only moments away. We would recommend a stay here. We couldn't quite work out the IP TV but were not there to watch TV in any case! Thoroughly enjoyable stay. San Pedro promenade was lovely with good restaurants.

Superb Holiday in a fabulous Penthouse Apartment

This is a fabulous property, I stayed here with my 2 children, my wife and her parents for a week in July 2015. The owner of the property Mark and the manager Fernando could not have been more helpful. Spacious Penthouse with views of Atalaya Golf Course and Golf Academy within 5 mins drive. Owner recommended restaurants with reviews and Sky TV included. We had a super time here and I would thouroughly recommend it to anyone. Simon

Great apartment

Lovely apartment and great views

We loved the fact that the penthouse has such fabulous views across the countryside & across to Gibraltar. The location is fantastic being close to Marbella, Puerto Banus & Estepona, not forgetting the gastronomic village of Benahavis. We have several friends who own properties within a few miles of ours.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Malaga or Gibraltar at 70 Kilometres Nearest Beach : San Pedro at 2 Kilometres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

Benatalaya is 5 minutes drive from the beaches of San Pedro, Estepona and 10 minuties drive to Puerto Banus. On this coast there is something for eveyyone -families, couples, groups of friends and golfers. It has been developed specifically for tourism. Sierra Nevada, the Andalucian Lakes and numerous national parks are all within 2 hours drive from the Costa del Sol providing unspoiled dramatic scenery and the ultimate in recreational activities, perfect for those who like walking and hihiking.

Travel:

Fly into Malaga International or Gibraltar Airport. There is so much to offer in this area that a car is highly recommended. Malaga Airport is one of the busiest airports in Europe, all budget airlines fly to this region of Spain.

Benatalaya is a 3km drive inland, along the Guadalmina River (A-7475 Benahavis road) from the N340/A7 coast road near San Pedro. Airport: Malaga/Gibraltar 65km. Railway: Marbella 10km. Ferry: Puerto Banus 8km.

Distances:

There is a large Mercandona supermarket a minutes walk form the apartment. It is 5 minutes drive to Benahavis and San Pedro which are typically Spanish towns with lots of lovely restaurants, bodegas, shops etc. The famous Marina at Puerto Banus and cosmopolitan Marbella with its cobbled streets and Orange Square are within a 10 minute drive. Beautiful Ronda nestling amongst the Sierra Blanca mountains with the oldest Bullring in Spain is reached easily within 50 minutes.

The Costa del Sol remains the best loved holiday destination and is the most southerly coast of Spain.
