House in La Cala de Mijas, Mijas Costa, Costa del Sol, Spain - Situated In A Quiet Residential Urbanisation, A 5 Mins Stroll To The Beach, Village And Shops

Homely, fully equipped, furnished detached home in a peaceful, family orientated urbanisation suitable for both families and couples. Partially air-conditioned with large plasma TV, DVD player,small private courtyard and a balcony with sea views. Located a short 5 minute stroll from both La Cala village and the main beach, this property offers the perfect location for enjoying the many delights of Costa del Sol. The house is set in lovely gardens with use of a large shared pool with an excellent poolside restaurant terrace. There are also 3 bars offering various food/drink and entertainment. La Cala village is beautiful and unspoilt offering lots of amenities such as restaurants, bars, shops, market, parks and a cultural centre. It runs parallel to its main beach which is safe with lifeguard patrols (Blue flag). It also offers an excellent array of beach side restaurants which are great value for money. La Cala also boasts numerous golf courses/tennis courts with summer horse racing.

My wife and I live with our 2 children in Manchester and love spending our holidays in Spain. We have made many friends in and around La Cala and it really is our favourite place. We hope people enjoy it as much as we do.

Why Jason Washington chose Mijas area

We bought our property in La Cala after falling in love with the area. We had been on holiday there on previous occasions and decided we wanted to have a base there.

We love the fact that it is a really unspoilt village with traditional spanish features and everything is so conveniently close by. It really is a hidden gem.

The beach is clean and safe and the village offers a variety of affordable quality restaurants and bars.

What makes this unique

The house is situated in a family friendly, quiet urbanisation yet it is less than a 5 minute stroll from the centre of the village and main beach. Residents have access to an attractive shared pool with a lovely poolside restaurant and 3 bars.

Some days we'll laze around the pool until late into the evening whilst on other days we'll head to the local market or to the beach. Another day we may jump on the bus to Marbella or some of the many other local attractions/places.

We have made many friends and have a lovely couple who look after the house when we are not there and who will meet guests on arrival at the house.

Malaga airport is only a 30 minute drive from the house so the holiday can begin pretty much soon after you've landed !

Lovely little 2 bed house with everything you need in a well maintained area.

The lady who meets & greets was extremely helpful.

The best bed we have ever slept in in a rented property !

Fabulous air-con when required but the natural breeze through the property when windows open was lovely too.

Ideally situated in a quiet area either a five minute drive or a pleasant 20 minute walk into the beautiful seaside village that is La Cala de Mijas.

Here you will find a gorgeous beach with lovely bars and bathing areas and an array of fabulous, very reasonably priced restaurants.....

Good holiday

We stayed in the house for 9 nights in sept the house was very nice spacious and had everything we wanted/needed it was just outside the town of la Cala but close enough to walk in

The swimming pool was very lovely and clean

The restaurant was very nice the food was excellent sadly we only used it on the last night but would use it more often if we go back

I would recommend this house for a relaxing stay

The lady who looked after the house was very helpful

Notes on accommodation: The house is partially air conditioned with individual controls. It is newly decorated and furnished. It is suitable for both families and couples. It is a very safe location away from main roads, easily accessible and convenient to all central amenities. Wi fi is avaliable in the local bars within the urbanisation. There is also an internet cafe in La Cala village. Outside: The house has a small private enclosed courtyard with a table and parasol for 6 and is set within lovely communal gardens, close to an impressive shared large pool area which includes a baby pool. The lawns are well manicured with mature trees and the house overlooks a relaxing, attractive green. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All hand/ bath towels and linen are provided. They are changed weekly.
