About Mrs Patricia Quinn

My family are originally from Northumberland and whilst visiting my mother, we came across our delightful house.

With my husband and myself both leading busy lives, we find walking the beaches during the day and then settling in front of our log burner with a glass of wine the perfect way to relax.

Our grown up chidren also enjoy a weekend break at the house with their partners; although they tend to go into Newcastle upon tyne for lively bars, posh restaurants and the theatre, as it is only a 25 minute drive away.

Why Mrs Patricia Quinn chose Northumberland Coast

We bought the house because of its perfect seafront position. It has direct access to the beach. It offers wonderful coastal walks.

What makes this house unique

The large farmhouse table is ideal for dinner parties with room enough for friends and family; whilst enjoying a sea breeze and stunning views on a summer night.

Sea fishing from the beach is an early morning treat and the dogs are allowed on the beach from Sept until April but children can go any time !

Secure locked gate to street. Lawned garden to front of house. Utility Room: Washing machine, freezer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Quality bed linen and bath towels are supplied. A basket of logs for the log burner and a welcome pack on arrival. Other: Outside courtyard with secure gate. Large garage suitable for bikes and family car, with parking on street for 1 car.

Beaches was everything I expected. The views were wonderful. The property was very clean and comfortable and ideally situated to explore the area. Even the neighbours were friendly and helpful.

Wonderful

We were met at the house by 2 lovely, friendly ladies,so we immediately felt comfortable. The property itself appeared very welcoming and clean.

The layout and decor was stylish and pleasant.

The sea views from the house are breathtaking. "A little piece of Heaven

here on earth". Newbiggin was a small place,with a very interesting history,within easy reach of places,such as Alnwick. We will definitely be back.

Lovely house with amazing views.

We took our 5 year old grandson to stay at Beaches for a week, it was perfect in every way. We had the most wonderful, comfortable week. Newbiggin by the sea has much charm, we watched the views constantly and, saw all kinds of things in the sea...grey seal, canada geese, fishing boats, jet skis, big ferries in the distance...we found it relaxing and inspiring and would love to return 😃

Property was excellent and good location

we had a lovely stay at new biggen on sea.the house we stayed in was lovely clean and well equipped shops near by.We haven't stayed this far up the coast before but the beach and location was great short driver to the busier towns to look around etc but overall great experience.

Only critisim was hand rail going down the steps to the garden and to the footpath to the beach there is on half way up but not on the property just picky as we had grandad whose a bit unsteady on his feet and it was a steep climb but we managed the road walk instead so not end of world

Very comfortable property with fantastic views over the bay

This is a nice modernized house on the sea front in Newbiggin. Very easy communication, nice to be met by someone. Was freezing at the time, but very warm in the house. The views over the bay from the front windows are simply stunning. Waking up to a sunrise each morning unforgettable.

Property spotless. Well equipped. For example - when walking out of the front door (onto the promenade!) at night, nice to find a torch.

The wood burner was a bonus and easy to use.

Highly recommended.
