About the Owner

We live in London and as a family we have been visiting Nerja since 1998. We rented our property for several years before purchasing it from the former owner. We always felt so comfortable and totally home from home at the flat and have over the years we've had it, added lots of personal touches to make our visitors stays enjoyable with everything one could wish for to hand. We visit Nerja 3 or 4 times a year and always feel we are 'going home' every time go back. We love the Spanish unspoilt way of life in the town and of course the excellent climate on offer.

Excellent in all ways

We used Donna's apartment for 10 days in July 2016 and we found the position and amenities of the apartments were outstanding.

Due to the location of the apartment a car is not needed as everything you may require is within walking distance.

There a two very good supermarkets up in the town if you want to do any meals for yourself but there are many restaurants (Bamboo very good) on the sea front or more in the town towards the Balcon.

Couldn't find anything wrong - would recommend to all.

Family Getaway

We holidayed here with our 9 and 7 year old.

The location is ideal, right in the centre of the town, a short walk to the beach, shops and many restaurants. We arranged to be picked up from Malaga airport by a lovely lady recommended by the owner. There is no need for a car unless you plan to leave the town, parking in Nerja is a nightmare anyway.

The apartment is perfect, everything you need to self cater for a couple of weeks. Its compact and comfortable. A beautiful living room with lovely sofas to chillax in. Nice balcony to sit out with a wine or cava and watch the world go by.

The pool is private and a nice place to relax. Although for those with children they don't allow jumping in and playing with water toys which does make it more appealing for adults and anyway the beach is less than 200 meters away.

Highly recomment this apparment and will certainly be back

A ideal place to stay in Nerja

I stayed at this comfortable apartment with my parents for a week in February and had an extremely enjoyable holiday. My parents' mobility is a little limited but we found this location to be ideal; it is a short, level walk into the main part of Nerja town from here, with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby and there is a lift up to the third floor of the building where the apartment is located. It is clean, well furnished and decorated and has all the facilities one might need for a stress free self-catering stay. The compact kitchen is well equipped with crockery, pans, utensils etc and the cooking equipment is easy to use. In the lounge there are comfortable chairs and sofas and there is a TV with DVD player. There is a good size dining table, something which some apartments lack. The bathroom is a good size and so are the two double bedrooms. The contact person for the apartment while staying there is easy to get hold of and was really helpful when we had a query or problem. We really enjoyed our stay here and will certainly be planning to make a return visit!

We found the apartment to be very comfortable,clean and well maintained. Everything was as stated in the description.

There are plenty of restaurants and bars within a few mins walk

but there are plenty of utensils on hand if you prefer to eat in.

We took advantage of the excellent bus service to travel around,

the caves,friglliana,torrox and Granada where we visited the Alhambra

but I would recommend booking this in advance.

All in all we had a very busy but relaxing holiday.

From the Owner

We love Nerja and the flat is located very centrally in the centre of the town. Everything in a stones throw away and on hand. Beaches, shops, restaurants and of course the Balcon De Europa. Nerja was a former fishing village and there are still remnants today of the old way of life. It's unspoilt Spanish way of life continues with the fishermen's catch and farmers fruit and vegetables still sold on the street corners. The bus station is also just at the top of the road with regular buses to Malaga so a car is not really necessary.

Activity and Interests


The Torrecilla and Salon beaches are only 3 minutes away and it is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive to the Burriana Beach where you can sample Ayo's famous paella.


45 minute drive North of Malaga Airport. A car is not always essential as Nerja can be accessed easily by public transport by either taking a short bus or train journey to Malaga City Centre then the bus directly to Nerja Bus Station which is an 8-10 minute walk away.


Being based in the centre of the town it enables easy access by bus or car to the picturesque white washed villages of Frigiliana, Torrox or Competa, the famous Caves of Nerja and further afield to such places as Granada, Seville and Almeria.

Centrally based for Nerja's lovely independent shops in the town's beautiful olde world windy shopping streets, supermarkets, Tapas bars and restaurants. Additionally convenient for the town's glorious beaches and unique Spanish feel.
