Comfortable house in well-kept complex

We spent nearly ten weeks at Anil's house and enjoyed our stay very much. Communication with Anil was excellent, check-in was easy and we found the property very comfortable and as described. Myra, the caretaker, was extremely friendly and helpful, and looked after us very well. The complex is well kept, safe and friendly, and the swimming pool a great asset. The complex is close to supermarkets, a wide choice of restaurants, and within walking distance of the wonderful beach area.

3 bed row villa in Benailim

We were 2 adult couples staying in this property for 4 weeks over Christmas and new year 23/24. We had some initial issues i.e. washing machine not working, downstairs shower room drainage had major blockage, but these were quickly sorted out (but should have been checked and sorted before we arrived), The layout is: top floor 1 x double bedroom plus en suite, middle floor: 2 x double bedrooms plus one shower room with toilet, bottom floor: lounge with shower room and toilet, Our friends had the top floor with ensuite and we had the middle floor bedroom with seprate shower room. Had there been a third couple we would have struggled because they would have had to use the shower room on the bottom floor. The extractor fan in our shower room had been burnt out long ago so the bathroom is now beginning to get damp. The owner lives abroad so may not have been aware of some of these issues although he does have a 'manager' on site who should have made him aware. Overall the property could do with a deep clean as the local cleaning services offered are extremely basic (and they are charged for extra). The downstairs outside rear patio area is a bit of a rat run and walk through and is certainly not designed for sitting out. The property now is a bit tired and could do with an update and decorating throughout. All of the pillows, bedding, mattresses and curtains throughout are in desperate need of replacing.

Spacious, well equipped 3 storey house, good location on a secure site with pool!

Had great contact with owner Anil, answered any questions, and quickly too. Kindly checked everything OK on arrival and departure. Great host.. Property spacious.... 3 bathrooms so we had one each! Well equipped, having a washing machine was great.... Meant no dirty washing to start off the New Year at home. Ceiling fans and air con in all main rooms, lovely library area with rocking chair to 1st floor bedroom where I found myself late afternoon. So many balconies! Pool not too busy and just across from the house. Location good for the centre, and access to the beach in various directions. Thank you for renting us your house Anil, wasn't disappointed.

Great place to stay

The villa is in a good,clean condition,well looked after,comfortable lounge area,bedrooms are a good size and it had been recently decorated.There is open land just behind so not overlooked. The complex is gated and secure in a good location,grounds clean and tidy with a good size communal swimming pool.Restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk.The beach is in walking distance taking about 15 mins or Tuk Tuks are easily available. I’d recommend this villa for your stay in Benaulim which is a lovely village full of friendly people.

Beautiful well kept Villa in paradise

Your Villa was wonderful. Very spacious and well equipped and finding there was a security guard on duty virtually 24 hours a day was very re-assuring. Our son was well impressed with the fact that he could watch all sorts of movie channels on the tv. The pool and gardens were beautifully well maintained. The beaches were really beautiful ....particularly liked Benaulim and Moba. We were amazed how quiet the beaches were. We decided to be bold and arranged to hire a car. This gave us the freedom to explore Goa and managed to clock up nearly 1400 km. Meals out were amazing value and plenty of decent places within Benaulim itself to choose from. Benaulim was a great base to explore the whole of Goa from. Having travel to North Goa, we definitely preferred South Goa and Benaulim in particular. The new Goan smart restaurant "Firefly" approx 100m up from the beach particularly impressed us. We tried virtually every restaurant in Benaulim and had a great experience and a lovely meal every time. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation to everyone and I know my husband has already passed details to several work colleagues with our recommendations. Our overall impression of India was extremely positive and certainly a wonderful holiday destination. We most certainly will return. We were so pleased that we chose Benaulim and this property in particular. It was perfect for us. The owners were so helpful and arrangements with their Agent in Benaulim went so smoothly.
