GARTH COURT 2 BED 4 PERSON APARTMENT
Garth Court offers light and airy, stylish accommodation for 4 people, all on one level. It overlooks the delightful courtyard, full of sunshine and flowers in the summer. The entrance is via a few steps to a small balcony into the split-level lounge/kitchen with three seater settee, tub chair and glass dining table. An inner hallway leads to the two double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room, the other with an adjacent full luxury bathroom. Both beds are king-size and very comfortable.

Each of our two rental properties has a different character but they all enjoy the stunning location, the space to park easily, a wonderful garden with views of the Lake and Mountains, peace and tranquillity and yet the best of The Lake District is within easy reach.

We bought The Garth Country House in August 2001, exchanging busy professional lives for the peace and beauty of this unique house. It has a long history of providing wonderful accommodation for people wanting the very best of the Lake District and it gives us pleasure to see guests appreciating all that it offers.

We realised that this house has everything - character and style, stunning views of lake and mountains, spacious gardens, fascinating wildlife - and we can share this all with our guests.
What makes this apartment unique
We are central to all that is best in The Lakes and yet at the same time we are far away from all the crowds.
Bookings are on a weekly basis from a Friday to Friday.
A third deposit is taken on booking and the balance is due six weeks prior to the holiday.
A housekeeping deposit of £100 is taken with the balance, as a cheque which is returned in the week following the holiday, subject to any damages.
we don't take credit or debit cards, payment is by cheque or via paypal.
Changeover day is Friday.
off season breaks are normally Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday
and are by arrangement
Arrivals after 4pm, departure by 10am.

Great, quiet place!
Very nice apartment with lovely garden and great views. Easy to reach most key sights and delicious pub down the road.

Activity and Interests
Most people come by car but it is possible to use public transport to Windermere, then a taxi would be needed.
A local bus stops a minute walk away, this takes you to local tourist sites around Hawkshead and Coniston.
Hawkshead is a short drive, 2 miles along the lakeside.
Hill Top is a three minute walk away. There are walks from the door and towards Hawkhead and Windermere. The ferry across Windermere goes every 20 minutes and is only just over a a mile away.
Hawkshead has a CO-OP small supermarket and a delicatessen and very good pubs. Our local pub, 3 minutes away, serves excellent food and local ales.
Trout fishing is available five minutes away. Nearby Grizedale Forest has great cycle tracks.
