About Julie Marren

My name is Julie and I bought my lovely ski apartment in 2001 and have spent many years enjoying its brilliant location and its beautiful views. Due to a personal bereavement I will not be able to use the apartment for the foreseeable future and have therefore decided to let others enjoy "my dream".

Skiing in Courchevel represents the best skiing in the Trois Valleys region and I am sure everyone will enjoy the experience as much as I have.

Julie Marren purchased this apartment in 2001

Why Julie Marren chose Courchevel

I bought my property in 2001 after spending many years skiing in Courchevel. The apartment represents a dream come true and every time i sit on my balcony or put my keys into its lock I think how lucky I am to have such a beautiful 2nd home.

What makes this apartment unique

1650 still retains the feel of a traditional village and my property is within walking distance of the many restaurants, shops, bars and ski-hire facilities which make the holiday as relaxed as possible. The apartment is also close to the new Petit Moriond gondola and has the most amazing views to the slopes of 1850 and 1550.

Intermediate skiers can ski virtually back to the apartment via the run next to the new gondola.

Families with children can rent a locker at the 1650 gondola station helping them avoid carrying ski,s and boots to the apartment--very useful!

Guestbook comments from the owner

I stayed in Les Bleuets in March 2013 and it was just like home from home. Wonderfully equipped so self catering was easy-but also close to the many delights of the bars, shops and restaurants. Many thanks for a great time-we will be back and would have no hesitation in recommending such a fabulous apartment. Smith family

A true delight

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed staying in your beautiful & comfortable apartment.

The location for me was ideal, literally 3 or 4 minutes walk to the ski bus stop & a couple of minutes more to the new Petit Moriond lift, which gives access to the Courchevel 1650 ski area. Les Bluets’ location is just right, in a quiet part of the village, yet so handy for everything. The view from the lounge & balcony is just incredible ...to begin the day with that alone just makes the heart sing!

Supermarkets, shops bars / restaurants are to be found only minutes away with both upscale & more medium priced offerings.

We did a little self catering & found everything we could possibly need & more in the well equipped kitchen... & of course spoilt ourselves in a few of the local restaurants too. Recommend; the quirky Cabin for drinks ... plus oysters!! Also, the restaurant at the back of the chic ski outfit shop ... I think next to Superdry.

It was a pleasure to have English TV & French Local Radio to provide information, accurate weather forecasts & genuine atmosphere too.

The Courchevel ski pass was plenty for us, the 3 Vallees lift pass would have been a waste of money, but for keen skiers... there surely cannot be better or more varied skiing available.

Mountain “vin chaud” stops for me are crucial, so worry not if you are the same, for the opportunities are most exciting. Recommended; for sunny luncheons, the upscale “Cap Horn” & for snowy days, the cosy “Soupcoup”

Thank you Julie for a fabulous week. We were so sad to leave but are so very excited at the prospect of returning!!

Les Bleuets, Spot On.

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was exactly as advertised clean, well appointed and conveniently located. It felt like it was a home and there were some very thoughtful touches; DVDs, books and local attractions information etc. We skied every day but still did not manage to visit the whole 3 valleys area. For the more distant locations we would recommend to start on the ski bus. We wanted to visit Val-Thorens and tried to ski there and back but only managed to reach it in time to turn round and ski back. The piste map does not do justice to just how big the Trois Vallees are. I have no hesitation in recommending 'Les Bleuets' and we will certainly try to return there and explore all the ski areas that we missed the first time around.

We had a great holiday.

The apartment is clean, well maintained & comfortable. The kitchen, although small was well provided with a range of cooking utensils.

It is located within 200m walking distance of the nearest lift & within a small town which is well provided with a good range of reasonably priced bars & restaurants.

This was our first visit to the 3 valleys & we would have no hesitation in returning to Les Bluets in the future.

Courchevel Magic

  • 5 of 5

This apartment was a real "find" in a quiet part of 1650, yet only a short walk from the variety of bars, restaurants supermarkets & of course lifts, there is actually a new lift literally across the road. This lift provides quick access to the 1650 ski area. The ski bus stop is only minutes from the apartment & the bus will take you up to 1850 in ten minutes or down to 1550 or beyond, painless! Every morning it's hard not to be impressed by the magnificent & uninterrupted mountain views from the balcony. Comfy beds, fully loaded kitchen, games stored in nooks & crannies & English TV ...it's well thought out... a true home away from home. The apartment features a private ski locker & garage & Julie even organised a discount on ski hire at the nearest shop ... less walking! Its easy to appreciate why this resort is regarded as one of Europe's most glamorous destinations, after all, the diverse array of slopes are kept in wonderful condition & some of the mountain huts are quite simply right over the top! Al fresco dining on wide terraces, under blue skies, amongst dramatic scenery just has to be experienced ... it really is truly special!

ideal location

  • 4 of 5

We are a family of five. The apartment was cosy and clean. Comfortable beds, good shower and excellent oven. Lots of kitchen essentials. English telly which kids loved. Ideal location five minute walk from lifts. We hired lockers at the bottom of the lifts so we could come home for lunch. Courchevel family pass was more than sufficient, skiing new slopes most days. Ski hire shop recommended very helpful. Will plan a return visit, lovely homely apartment.

Fantastic Apartment

  • 5 of 5

We were absolutely delighted with this lovely apartment in Courchevel. Situated in Courchevel 1650, it is only a stone's throw from the Moriond gondola meaning that you can almost ski out of your front door! The apartment is well appointed, beautifully maintained and feels like home the minute you walk in the door. The kitchen is fully equipped but equally there are plenty of restaurants in walking distance if you don't feel like cooking after a long day on the slopes. The view from the balcony is stunning and it was lovely looking out on the pristine snow in the mornings and then looking up at the twinkling lights of Courchevel 1850 in the evenings. The resort of 1650 has fantastic slopes for all levels of skiers and is well connected to the other Courchevel resort both by ski slopes and free shuttle bus. The resort is well served by three reasonably price supermarkets as well as many restaurants and bars. There are several ski rental stores as well. The post office/tourist information office offer free wi-fi and are open from early until late. We had a wonderful week in Courchevel and thoroughly recommend this lovely apartment-we can't wait to return to both!
