This 2 Bedroom spacious ground floor apartment is situated in a quiet residential area of Burgau, close to the Church. It is a smart, modernly decorated apartment boasting two large terraces enjoying sun all day long (all winter too), a spacious open plan lounge / dining area, with TV, music system, TV complete with English speaking channels, dvd player, FREE Wifi access, dining table and large patio doors to the sunny large terrace complete with private Jacuzzi for clients usage. Archway leading into the fully fitted kitchen complete with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, fridge/freezer etc. There is a fully fitted bathroom with bath and overhead shower. 1 double bedroom with patio doors out to the west terrace and a further twin bedroom complete with TV, DVD and PlayStation for the kids with comfy sofa. Patio doors to the East terrace. Each terrace area is complete with sun umbrella, dining table and there are sunbeds on the west facing terrace. The property is just a two minute walk to the beach and the local amenities of Burgau village, yet in a very quiet peaceful spot.

I have been in property management in the Algarve for 20 years and this is my own newly acquired property for rentals.

I live close by to Burgau, so on hand to help with all aspects of your holiday and have great knowledge and experience of the area.

Wouldn't go anywhere else in Burgau now, its great for us, ground floor for my wife as she can't walk far, so easy access for her.

WiFi now in the apartment is a great plus, no more internet cafés and the new coffee machine is great too. Sam is always on hand and every time we come there's something new, about to add a Jacuzzi on our sun terrace, not sure if we will use it, but that will be really good for her guests.

This apartment was previously my family home, but now a little small for 6 of us altogether, so decided to keep it for rentals as we felt it was ideal for holiday guests.

Activity and Interests

Car: recommended

Special interest holidays:

Extremely local for canoeing, cycling, walking, paragliding, tennis, surfing and various sporting activities.


Burgau beach is just 2 minute walk away, there are various other beaches within a 5 minute drive. Praia da Luz and Lagos, Meia Praia and the west coast all host excellent clean sandy beaches.


Faro Airport is the airport habitually used, just 50 minute drive away. However, Seville and Lisbon are within a three hour drive also. Directions from all airport can be supplied. Car Hire is not essential once you arrive in the village of Burgau, but to explore outide the local area it is advised. Both Car Hire and Airport Transfers can be organised for you with preferential rates.


The town of Lagos is just a 15 minute drive away, Sagres the furthest westerly point in Europe is approx 25 minutes away. Monchique mountain is approx 45 minute drive - well worth a visit.

Further Details:

Burgau Village has pretty much everything you need and a car is not an absolute essential, however should you wish to explore the beautiful Western Algarve then Carhire is a bonus. Burgau has plenty of restaurants, nightlife, supermarkets, bars and cafe's and small shops. The nearest bank, pharmacy etc are situated in Praia da Luz just a five minute drive and the historical town of Lagos is just a 15 minute drive.

Utility Room: Washing machine is housed in the outside utility room with the boiler and central heating control. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Maid service is supplied free of charge weekly. All linen, towels and beach towels are also provided free of charge.
