Nice clean house

Nice very clean well appointed house in a great location - the house itself would easily get 4 stars however there are some slight issues with the overall experience. The car park pass and park & ride pass was a good bonus.

No parking or drop off at this property - the nearest is 60m away {30m possibly, but in reality cars always parked in a dead end} and the garage is two streets away and access is very difficult indeed even for a modern small car. No toilet paper at all in all 3 bathrooms upon arrival - we do buy our own with our first shop but to have none at all upon arrival was a first for us, we found this unacceptable. The WiFi is incredibly slow almost unusuable even sat opposite the hub, slightly better late at night. Lack of instructions/guides at property although some were sent via post beforehand. The dining table seats 6 and has 6 chairs not 8 as clearly mentioned. The garden is nice but overgrown this needs some TLC. No tumble drier or washing line to hang things out to dry.

Owner's Response: Agreed the lack of toilet paper unacceptable, washing line in kitchen cupboard,2 drying racks in middle bathroom, 8 matching dining room chairs 2 of which were in the bedrooms, instructions in pouffe, drop off area 100 metres from the cottage, the garage is 3.5 metres long however it is governed by the 2 metre width roads which anyone familiar with Dartmouth knows about, you say the garage is 2 roads away it is 300metres from the cottage Northford Road has 100 metres of de restricted parking you just have to be lucky in grabbing a space, the broadband is BT and we have never had any problems before. One of our guests has stayed at the cottage 3 years running and has offered herself as a referral.

Absolutely fantastic!!

I can highly recommend staying at this gorgeous place!

We went with our parents and inlaws and we had the best time, 7 of us in total. We had everything we could possible need and had plenty of space.

We will definitely be booking this accommodation again in the future!!

Lovely Cosy cottage in excellent location. Felt like home from 1st day we arrived and didn't want to leave. Wonderfully warm and Cosy after cold winter walks. Loved the fact it was over 3 levels so each me member of family / group had a quite time. Real treat t.v in 3 bedrooms. Highly recommended

Kingswear quarter of a mile. Dittisham approximately 3 miles, Kingsbridge, Totnes and Salcombe all approximately 12 miles.

Further Details:

2 supermarkets within walking distance, various banks, high quality clothing shops, bric a brac and an array of pubs and restaurants including the prestigious Seahorse Restaurant owner/chef Mitch Tonks. Outdoor market held twice a week. We can also arrange lobster and crab from a local fisherman if required.
