Studio Apartment in La Clusaz, Haute Savoie/ Rhone-Alpes, France - Close To La Clusaz Village Centre, Lovely Apartment With Views Of The Slopes.

The apartment is within a small block of 8 and overlooks the mountain range. It is 4 minutes walk from the green slopes (and you can ski back to opposite the apartment on a blue) and 5 minutes walk to La Ferme restaurant, which is a favourite for locals and tourists alike. The village is circa 10 minutes walk but there are regular free buses (with your ski pass) that drop off/ pick up from the chalet. A very clean and comfortable apartment renovated in 2014 to quality fitments, Le Val de Neige is equipped to a high standard with the aim of ensuring that you and your family enjoy your holiday. There is under-floor heating and the building is maintained by a local property firm. The terrace has a mountain view and out-door furniture - superb for a sunny afternoon post-ski!

We are an English couple who relocated to Annecy 5 years ago. We are keen skiers/ snowboarders who fell in love with La Clusaz and now won't ski elsewhere. We have also discovered the attractions and beauty of La Clusaz in the summer months and visit it most weekends. As we live so close to the resort we don't need to stay in the apartment but can be on-hand as and when required.

La Clusaz is simply how you would imagine a ski resort should be; charming, picturesque and good variety of ski slopes (with excellent long runs). Even when busy you don't feel cramped or cattle herded and as such you can enjoy your pistes and the sense of wilderness. It has everything you need but above all it's really fairly priced and doesn't have that commercial feel that other resorts have. We have been to many other resorts, we chose here because it's impossible not to fall in love with it.

Special interest holidays:

La Clusaz is a resort that caters for the activity lover. The mountain range makes for excellent walking holidays and, for the more adrenaline-charged individuals, VTT mountain biking courses, parapenting, the luge d'été (summer toboggan). There is also a wonderful pool (inside and outside + slide) in the village. Summer events include the international horse jumping competition and the tartiflette village fête. The nearest airport is Geneva airport. This is circa 50 minutes/52 km from La Clusaz. Car hire is available from the airport - please select France as the country within which you are hiring and then choose Geneva from there. This should reduce the price of the rental. Geneva airport has French and Swiss exit points.


The apartment is in the village of La Clusaz. Annecy is 32 km away (40 mins) and Geneva is 52km away (50 mins). If you are coming in the summer months then a trip to both is recommended.

Booking Notes:
Booking can be made via phone or email. A non-returnable deposit will be needed to secure the booking.

Changeover Day:
In season the changeover day is Saturday but this may be flexible outside of the ski season.

The property is booked on a self-maintained bass and must be returned to condition, ready to welcome the next guests. If this does not happen the security deposit is forfeited, this is not something we like to do.
All cleaning products are available and it will take 2 persons just 30 minutes to clean the property to a good standard. When cleaning, we ask you to kindly keep in mind the guests who will arrive on the day you leave and how they would like to begin their holiday after their journey. Thank you for your understanding.

You can walk a few minutes and start skiing, there is a free bus that stops right outside the apartment and it's minutes away from the premier chalet-style restaurant that you will adore (called La Freme). The property is warm, well fitted and well located. Simple.

  • Notes on accommodation: Unfortunately we don't currently have internet access, however there is free wifi at the closest bar/ restaurant, La Ferme. Outside: The apartment has a patio/ terrace with a table and chairs and a panoramic view of the mountains. There aren't any other buildings immediately in front of the terrace so the view is undisturbed. Utility Room: Iron and board. Spare blankets & pillows. Airer. Cleaning products, vacuum cleaner. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment is very easy to maintain but we ask our tenants to ensure that it is left in a good, clean condition on departure. Cleaning products will be available in order to facilitate this. Towels and linen can be made available on request. Other: Secure ski locker (4 sets of skis/ boards & boots). Underground parking, separate locked parking spaces. Outside parking next to the apartment. The terrace has a table and 4 chairs outside and a BBQ is available for use.
