Andratx Villa with pool, large grounds and great valley views - Peaceful location, 10 minutes from Port Andratx

Situated just outside Andratx, this 200 year old Finca is built into a hillside with lovely views down the valley from the pool terrace, outdoor dining area and various sitting areas dotted around the property. With 6,000 m2 of grounds this terraced property is secluded yet within short walking distance of Sa Coma, with a supermarket and a few casual restaurants and within 15-30 minutes drive from various great beaches (such as Camp de Mar and Sant Elm) and golf courses (such as Golf de Andratx and Son Vida). The Villa has been restored to a very high level with airconditioning, high-speed WIFI internet, Sat TV/DVD, 2 fridge/freezers and a gas BBQ yet retains much of its original natural stone exterior and features a fireplace. The outdoor dining area comfortably seats 16 providing great opportunities to host friends. For the kids: a 200 m2 astro-turf playing field with football goals, badminton net and a huge (3.5 m diameter) trampoline. Lots of parking space inside wrought iron gates.

We are a family of five, with two older daughters and a young son. Can Morell and the Andratx region provides opportunities for all of us to enjoy the holiday we seek. Kylie is a keen golf player, Jeroen is an active SUPB paddler while the girls love the main beaches and the nightlife. James likes to explore the garden, kick a football, jump on the trampoline, play petanque and badminton and swim, swim, swim! We love entertaining our friends and family at Can Morell too.

"After a stressful few months at work and school, Can Morell was just what our family needed this Summer - a fabulous home (well away) from home. The place is superbly comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. The first week we were happy just chilling by the pool and eating al fresco in the evening but once we had decompressed the location of Can Morell really comes into it's own. A short distance from interesting towns, beautiful beaches, and great local markets. Palma is also well worth a visit. The array of fantastic restaurants nearby also make you want to keep coming back. In fact we did - in October! "

Notes on accommodation: Cot and / or highchair can be made available upon request. Outside: The property is set on a hill-side and features 6,000 m2 of terraced land with a variety of fruit trees (almond, fig, orange, lemon, lime, olive) and local trees and cacti. The private swimming pool (8 by 4.5 meters) is located off a spacious outside terrace with 8 lounge chairs overlooking the amazing valley views. The outside dining area features 2 extendable teak tables with enough chairs to comfortably seat 16. One particularly large cactus is a unique feature in the corner of the private courtyard, where the gas BBQ is also located. The expansive gardens are great fun for kids to explore and play in with a 200 m2 astro turf playing field with football goals, badminton net and a huge trampoline. Another kids' favourite is the donkey in the paddock next to the property who always appreciates a carrot - and will eeh-ahh loudly in gratitude. Adults and kids alike will enjoy the petanca court. Utility Room: Second large fridge/freezer. Miele front loaded washing machine and separate Miele tumble dryer. Iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: End of stay cleaning, linen and pool maintenance are all included in the rental price. Please note that towels for the pool (or beach) are not included. Extra cleaning and changes of linen can be arranged for an incremental fee. Other: Covered terrace around the house provides a choice of shadow or sun around the pool.

Sfeervolle Finca met alle luxe!

We hebben genoten, de 2,5 week in deze Finca nabij d' Antratx. Een huis op een mooie locatie, sfeervol ingericht, schoon en zeer goed en meer dan volledig uitgerust! De beschrijving dekt in dit geval zeker de lading niet. We waren zeer aangenaam verrast! Alleen al hoe buiten de tuin en terrassen zijn aangelicht. Top! Daarbij waren de voorraad- en koelkasten zeer goed gevuld, ook met wijn, met de vraag of we het weer willen aanvullen! Dat is nog eens service en prettig aankomen!

Wat ook prettig is dat er een goed beheerdersechtpaar in de buurt is bij vragen. Wij hebben ze niet echt nodig gehad omdat alles zeer duidelijk bij aankomst werd uitgelegd en er een goed naslagwerk ter plekke was. Wel is Michelle nog 2 keer geweest om de bedden te verschonen en schoon te maken. Heerlijk! Al met al hebben we een top vakantie gehad. Bedankt en we hopen volgend jaar weer te kunnen gaan? Nog een ding...... Heerlijke bedden!

Coast/Beach:

The area around Andratx features some beautiful and relatively small and upmarket beaches (such as Sant Elm, Camp de Mar and Andratx itself, all within 10-20 minutes drive) as well as the island's best known developed beaches (such as Magaluf, Palmanova and Peregua, all within 20 minutes drive).

Travel:

Can Morell is an easy 40 minutes drive from Palma airport. We recommend renting a car to get the most out of your stay.

Distances:

The nearest village to Can Morell is Sa Coma which has a small supermarket with a surprisingly complete assortment. It also hosts our favourite local restaurant with particularly good tapas. It is 10-15 minutes walk or a short drive away. The town of Andratx is a 5-10 minute drive, while the port of Andratx will take you no longer than 15 minutes. The closest beaches and golf courses can all be reached in 20 minutes. Palma is 30 minutes drive and Palma airport 40 minutes.

Can Morrel provides a great mix of a rural property with great views, a lot of space and privacy and proximity to the best Mallorca has to offer from Idyllic Port Andratx to beautiful Palma as well as the best beaches and golf courses of the island. And it's only 40 minutes from Palma's fantastic international airport. We furnished the place to a great standard - the way we expect our home-away-from-home to be. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we will.

Booking Notes:
Bookings can be made by email. We can only confirm a booking once a deposit has been paid of 50% of the rental amount. The remaining rental amount plus a €500 security deposit will need to be made 30 days before the start of the rental period. The security deposit will be returned into your bank account, subject to any deductions for breakage, after the property has been inspected.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday, but we will make allowances if possible. To allow for cleaning and changing of linen, we need the property to be vacated before 10.00, and can take new arrivals from 16.00.

Notes on prices:
Pricing includes water, electricity, linen, bathroom towels (not towels for pool/beach usage), end of stay cleaning and pool maintenance, but excludes €500 returnable breakage deposit. The deposit will be returned into your bank account, subject to any deductions for breakage, following final inspection of the property.

Owner's Cancellation Policy
