This beautiful two bedroom, air conditioned (metered), penthouse apartment is situated directly on the beach, having magnificent views overlooking Alcudia's golden sands and blue water. The swimming pool, children's pool and gardens are well maintained and cleaned daily. Sun loungers

are provided for guests to use free of charge. The roof terrace provides an ideal setting for a relaxing evening. The apartment, on the third floor, is served by a lift and has a secure entrance. There are four steps from the lift to the front door. The roof terrace is accessed by stairs. There are large numbers of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Golf courses and Alcudia old town with its twice weekly market are 5 to 10 minutes drive away. The Hidro Park, where you can have a big splash family day out with all the slides and rides, is a 25 minute walk away. The frequent bus service provides good transport to other parts of the island.

I live in Rugby in the Midlands and am a Nursing Sister at my local hospice. My grown-up children all learnt to swim in the pool at the apartments. My grand-children will be swimming in the same pool. I have had my holidays at the apartments for many years and purchased mine in 2002.

Why Mrs Helen Siddaway chose Alcudia

The location of the apartments made it the perfect holiday for young children. The sandy beach and gently shelving sea provided a safe environment and the private pools were a bonus. The marina provided a focal point for the evenings. The amenities in the area meant hiring a car was not necessary.

What makes this apartment unique

The supermarkets and restaurants are all within a few minutes walk and make self-catering so easy. For a complete change of scenery, you can be in the mountains at Es Malpas, within 10 mins drive. The boat trips from the marina are ideal for days out. The old town provides a completely different range of shops from the port and its extensive market is definitely worth a visit.

Notes on accommodation: Ideal apartment for couples and families. The beach shelves gently, is cleaned daily during the peak season and is suitable for young children. The apartment has duvets and heaters available for use during colder weather or in Winter months. The air-conditioning can also be put on heat setting. No smoking in the apartment. Outside: The large outside area consists of well maintained gardens, a communal swimming pool and a smaller pool for children. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool. This area is for guests use only, is free of charge and is cleaned on a daily basis. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Weekly Maid service: Towels and linen are provided (not beach / pool towels or travel cot bedding). The apartment will be cleaned on arrival and after departure. For guests staying for two or more weeks, the linen and towels will be changed weekly. Other: The private roof terrace is accessed by staircase. There is a power point, large table, patio chairs and sunbeds. Views overlooking beach and marina. There are also clothes lines on the roof. Clothes airer located on balcony.

We love Alcudia as there is lots to do and see, also it is very flat so makes walking a joy. Helens apartment is particularly good due to its ideal location, right on the front overlooking both the pool and the sea. We particularly like the fact that the apartment balcony is very shady and cool but if you want the sun you can use your own private roof terrace, beautiful. The apartment is well equipped with everything thing you need, I highly recommend going here.

Home from home with great views.

We had a great 2 weeks in Helens apartment, the view over the swimming pool and the sea just beyond is brilliant. We particularly loved the roof terrace especially when we realised we were the only ones who had access to it. The apartment is well set up with everything we needed, a fully functional kitchen with everything we needed. 2 good sized bedrooms and a nice bathroom.

We have stayed in Alcudia a few times but never in the port area, the location is terrific and very close to some very nice bars and restaurants. Also very close to bus stop, taxi rank and even horse and carriage. Even though the apartment is in close proximity to the many amenities it was very quiet so we were able to sleep without any problems.

We really hope we can go again next year as we loved, thanks Helen.

Amazing Views - Perfect Location

I chose this apartment because of the location and I wasn't disappointed. It was a surprise for my husbands 60th Birthday and when I led him onto the balcony his first words were "wow". That was the reaction I had hoped for.

From booking to getting home the contact with the owner has been excellent. Answered loads of questions I had and also arranged our taxi to and from the airport which a lovely Spanish lady who was really helpful. Journey was only about 45 minutes and mainly motorway.

Apartment was clean and had everything you needed, like a home from home, roof terrace would have been brilliant in slightly cooler conditions but it was too hot in 45 degrees! We had a heat wave whilst we were there so the air con was a godsend.

Big Banana supermarket almost next door for everything you needed and loads of restaurants within walking distance to cover all tastes.

Beach is superb - cleaned every day, although you never saw much rubbish on the beach as every one uses the bins provided. 2 sunbeds and an umbrella are 9 euros a day which is pretty good. Showers on the beach too. Sea was like a huge warm bath.

There was a Fiesta whilst we were there and a firework display (last Monday in June) and they were set up right in front of the apartment so we watched from the bedroom window - brilliant.

Large pool and kids pool with plenty of sunbeds all closed in so public cannot gain access. You cannot get directly onto the beach from the pool as the gate that was there has been bricked up, presumably because the public were getting in to the pool area. You only have to walk round the corner though.

I would recommend this property to couples, a group of friends or a family. We didn't do any sightseeing as we had planned it as a 'relaxing' break and that is exactly what we got. There was a lift to our floor and lots of restaurants very close by so brilliant if you really don't want to walk very far and all on the flat, no hills!!

This was my first holiday abroad without booking a package so I was a bit apprehensive but it was brilliant. Booked flights with Easyjet and Palma airport is really spacious with lots of facilities.

Can't wait to go back again........

Second visit to Carabella but first time in this apartment.

"Superb" sums up our stay.

Knowing the area well, we couldn't have asked for a better base that gave us easy access to all amenities, restaurants and bars.

The apartment is very well equipped with great views over the pool and beach. Sitting in the lounge, watching the world cup, enjoying the views out over the balcony has to be the best way to while away time whilst waiting for the ladies to get ready for a night out!

As well as being a superb apartment, the booking process, communication and access was a breeze, thank you Helen.

Here's looking forward to our next visit!

One guest had difficulty walking which made this apartment ideal for everyone to enjoy the sun, beach, pool, harbour, restaurants and shops together. All within safe, flat, walking distance. The apartment is clean, well equipped and appointed and the views from the balcony are breathtaking. The owner was extremely helpful in sorting out our booking and sending out the keys. Would certainly like to go again but for 2 weeks next time!

this villa is really perfect for enjoying beautiful Majorca. It is very well equiped making it easy to enjoy eating in, the best bit has to be the views, from the lounge and master bedroom you look directly out to the pool and beach, a most wonderful view that you do not tire of,the photographs really dont do it justice, when you first arrived and see the view im sure you will be as amazed as we were. From the kitchen and second bedroom you look out to the busy street with an array of brilliant shops and restaurants. The villa was very clean and spacious and gave us a lovely base for our holiday. Would definatley stay there again.

The apartment overlooks the longest sandy beach on Mallorca. The numerous sporting activities, which include wind surfing, water skiing, paragliding and pedalos provide activities for all the family. Trips from the marina on glass bottomed boats go to other stunning beaches such as Cala San Vicente, Pollenca and Formentor. These can also be reached by car, taking less than half an hour. Other amazing beaches can be found 45 mins away such as Cala Agulla and Cala Mesquida.


Port Alcudia is a 45 minute, straight forward drive from Palma airport. There is some parking on site and plenty of on road parking nearby. A taxi can be arranged if required. The taxi rank is about 100m away and the bus stops are outside the apartment. Alternatively there is a shuttle bus service available which takes about an hour and a half as is stops at other hotels and apartments.


The marina at Port Alcudia is just a few minutes walk.

Alcudia old town - 1km, 5 minute drive, within walking distance.

Hidro Park - 1.5km.

Puerto Pollenca - 10km, 20 min drive.

Formentor with its amazing scenery - 15km, 30 min drive.

Palma with its majestic cathedral, shops and cafes - 60km, 1 hr drive.

Campanet Caves - 15 min drive.

Caves of Drach and Caves of Arta are slightly further away.

A drive through the stunning mountains, especially to Sa Calobra, is well worth the drive.

Further Details:

The beach is sandy and safe for young children. There are numerous supermarkets, other shops, cafes, bars, and banks all within a few minutes walk of the apartment. There is a vast choice of restaurants suiting all tastes and budgets. A local by-law means that bars and cafes have to stop playing music at midnight. The water park is open during peak season and is suitable for the whole family. Should you wish to explore further along the beach, you can catch the sea bus from the marina. For a wilder ride out to sea, try Shark Attack speedboat - again at the marina. During the evening in the peak season there are numerous market stalls along the marina. The twice weekly market is held on Tuesday and Sunday mornings in old Alcudia town. It is great for leather goods, clothes, fresh produce and souvenirs.
